Our first roadtrip outside GCC. Our last visit to Legoland Dubai, inspired us to visit Petra. There was a miniature of Petra Treasury, so we decided to go Jordan by road to explore the place!

Jordan do you need to make International driving license or regular license is valid there same as other GCC?
Hmm nice Question. I dont know about this . I went with my GCC license 🪪. Plus police checkpoint stopped me once near dead sea. But they asked for the Temporary car import document 📃 which was issued at the border for 15 days. They did not ask for my license 🪪. I have Bahraini 🇧🇭 licence
Was the Pajero trouble free during this trip ?
Alhumdulliah , Pajero is amazing for such trips. Espically these area have very strong winds you need a v6 and strong 4x4 to handle such journey because many times there are harsh winds and dust storm . I have completed gcc and jordan by road in pajero Alhumdulliah just Qatar is pending
Hi i am planing to travel to Qatar from bahrain by car. I will be traveling through KSA only first day and last day of my trip ( five days i will be in qatar) So do i need to take KSA car insurance for total period or only for required two days? Please advise
Hii dear when you take Insurance KSA WILL BE INCLUDED.
SO Once you reach the causeway take insurance for 1 week and tell the person your going Qatar. He will give u gcc insurance so nothing to worry. Just reconfirm with insurance man

Hii dear. Where do you stay ? I am from Bahrain so when i was leaving bahrain before the border there is Insurance. I took insurance from there which gave me cover in All GCC COUNTRIES AND JORDAN.
Plus it is the best option and cheaper
Any restriction for india if we have to plan for road trip we got saudi and jordan visa

I had both , they did not asked for my license at all, even once police check point stoped me but they checked for , temporary permit , they never asked for license 🪪. But for personal safety i had both , international and Bahraini license ready
