If you want a great Brando movie watch On the Waterfront, Burn!, The Wild One (a rebel movie in it's day), and of course there's The Godfather.
Picture perfecto! Mr. Jonathan Depp appears not a day older than his glory days! Saw a snapshot of him in SF 25 years ago with Winona Ryder in a kiosk, and he was handsome even without make up . And many, many others, too numerous to name here. Yep, I guess you could say quite a few faces....
He's the best actor even today. He has the gift of constructing characters out of thin air... Captain Jack came about in the sauna apparently because he wanted to get the feeling of what it would be like living in the heat all day on the ocean...
"We have only got so many faces in our pocket", the best line ever...Brandon unlike other celebrities was high on intellect.

The two hottest actors who ever lived, at least to me
"Noone wants to be a novelty"...uh huh..
dude the way hes playing with the lighter.... man he is just so cool lmaoooo
Fascinating & wildly charismatic man❣️‼️
What a cutie. And i looked up the preface
Johnny Depp's voice would be awesome for the In the Time of your life, live preface reading,
I know Barbara Streisand did it but Depp would kill it
He kind of becomes Brando a little bit here
If there was ever a Godfather part 4,set in the 20s-30s, Depp would be the obvious choice to play him.
2:45 Worst possible time to interject with something. And it was so obvious it was not an opportunity to do so. I mean Depp is in the middle of a moment in the middle of a story. I like Lawrence, but yikes.
@x raze no, we can't. That was inexcusable.
@Siedler Joe I thought it was very obvious that Depp was in the middle of something.. then again, I guess I'm "biased" in that I just don't like Lawrence Krauss, the guy gives me the creeps. I used to like him tho, unbelievable though it seems to me now.
JD pauses at strange places so its hard to tell when he's stopped long enough to givd someone else a chance to talk or if he's just slowly moving on to the next thought
He let him continue though so what’s the issue?
Johnny is legend perfection
You can’t see California without marlon Brando’s eyes
Slipknot my man?
Aditya Singh Rao hell yeh lmao
Could thus interviewer fawn any harder over Depp? Gezz.....dude never have I seen such man-love before
I was in The Time of Your Life play, its so funny he talks about it here!
Great Brando impersonation.
Yep you are one hundred percent right, hip hip hourra for those so perfect and amasing actors, the best to me above all
Lovely interview
johnny depp talks intelligently and that's because he is intelligent. and an awesome actor one of the greatest of all time.
mike hiler yep. He's the only one I'd go the extra mile for, in order to meet him
Mike Hiler I think he speaks boringly
He is very good but I don't know about greatest of all time.
Mister Deep thank you to talk and to cheer with us your prvilege of knowing Marlon Bando so well .
The both of you had and still have a marvelous comlicity ,this is really unusual and beautiful the fairly friendship you had together..
I do understand that Marlon Bando is your mentor and unique person as a friend .
I admire Marlon Brando since I used to be a teenager and I love him true and admire him forever, is just as I admire the good person and the marvelous actor that you are.
Cheer up Mister Deep and Dear Marlon Brando who is resting in heaven and with you communicate often as you explain in another very interressing interview...
What an amazing piece of synchronicity, I also keep a copy of this prelude in my wallet.
That's just a coincidence. Thousands of people probably have that in their wallet or pocket it doesn't make you special
@@zackprice8688 he didn’t imply he was 🙃
@@djstarsign he also doesn't need some random internet social justice warrior to come defend him, he has a voice of his own loser.
He is heart-wrenchingly beautiful.
His voice reminds me of Steve Lukather from Toto.
I had William Saroyan as a substitute teacher.
I was from the same place we called home.😎👀
aging graceful for a man sometimes is a hard thing to do..
@@MrAlan137 acty what he said is wrong. Alcohol is not bad, excessive alcohol is bad. Even smoking if once every 2,3 weeks can be good to boost metabolism and the brain perhaps. But alcohol definitely is gior moderately.
I think the first Pirates movie was outstanding for a summer film, and I think they made too many of them unfortunately, but Johnny Depp remains the most versatile character actor in all of Hollywood.. I think Tom Hardy is one of the best actors under 40 and has just as much depth.. still in development.. he can give some very interesting performances as well... If you want a great Brando movie watch On the Waterfront, Burn!, The Wild One (a rebel movie in it's day), and of course there's The Godfather.
1:21 Lighter fidget spinner
Bic only thank you , lol real smokers know the difference
@@JAHLEADINI 100%
Picture perfecto! Mr. Jonathan Depp appears not a day older than his glory days! Saw a snapshot of him in SF 25 years ago with Winona Ryder in a kiosk, and he was handsome even without make up . One of my generation’s best! He is an expatriate Southern American in the South of France last I heard :)
John Christopher Depp II
Legends.
Let's see, just off the top of my head, I've seen him wear faces from Gilbert Grape to Tonto, from Edward Scissorhands to Willy Wonka, from Jack Sparrow to John Dillinger, from Donnie Brasco to Barnabas Collins, and of course Don Juan DeMarco. And many, many others, too numerous to name here. Yep, I guess you could say quite a few faces....
This does not compute. Why is Krauss interviewing an actor?
I know is he is not a scientist?
Exactly!! I was looking through the comments... Looks like not many here know Lawrence Krauss...!
He's the best actor even today. He has the gift of constructing characters out of thin air... Captain Jack came about in the sauna apparently because he wanted to get the feeling of what it would be like living in the heat all day on the ocean...
Captain Jack came from the director telling Jhonny how jack was supposed to act
Wait what? Lawrence Krauss talking with Johnny depp about Marlon Brando... how did this happen?
MovieClips Shut up smartass, you know what he meant.
