    3:08 was the biggest miss-play ever. You should of played Explore after the mine, play another tower, play Sphere, then use Sphere to cast Ancient Stirrings. You then would of got the Power Plant to play on turn 4, giving 10 mana.

      Glad you're enjoying the content. There are lots of good modern decks that are budget as you can see :)

      Thanks I try and stay as high energy as possible when playing. One Day I should try and do some Live Streams.

    hey man, love your budget deck builds! I don't want to be the guy who points out everything, but in game 1 you shouldn't have assembled tron on turn 4: the point is that you couldn't cast any of your fatties on that turn and the world breaker already exiled one of your towers, so, if they had any kind of land disruption (and they in fact had ghost quarter), they could take the other urza's tower making your tron assemble less likely. The correct play there was to play forest after expedition and then play tower next turn. Anyway, loved the video, keep the content flow going :)

      Thanks for the feedback. The one downside of always playing new decks if you never get to master any one of them. Looking back at my videos I make a bunch of misplays across the board.

    At 1:19, you made a mistake. You should have sacrificed the sphere with your tower mana and cast ancient stirrings. Then you could have at least attempted turn 3 tron.

    Your moto is so bad lol whats up with all the arts?

    • @GiantMonsterGames
      @GiantMonsterGames  8 років тому

      I originally was running a windows emulator on my Mac then playing moto on that. Now I have a PC. BUT it still messes up the art some times. Don't know why.

    In game 1, you shouldve tapped your tower for mana when he ghost quartered. you couldve casted a fatty on that turn if u did.

      Ruel Payawal mana disappears between phases. He would've floated mana in the draw phase and he wouldn't even able to cast anything.

      @DragonnReising This is correct. The world is explained and restored to it's rightful balance.

      Giant Monster Games restore balance is another deck you could do for relatively cheap that I love.

    should watch other tron vids before playing it coz sequencing is everything in terms of consistency... T2 should be crack sphere, float green - hope to draw a different tron land and if not look for one via A.Stirrings; and then scrying the last piece away

      Thanks for the feedback. Because i'm always making new decks for the channel, I don't always have enough time with any one deck to master the sequencing. But comments like this are good feedback for people that are looking to play with this deck.

      Giant Monster Games the mtgsalvation forum is a valuable resource for learning the intricacies of decks without having to practice for weeks. There is a thread for building/playing almost every archetype, and the Tron one is quite helpful in terms of sequencing plays and whatnot.

    I think your pronunciation of cards might actually be worse than SaffronOlive. Expedition Map = "Exploration Map"; Explore = "Exploration Map"; Ancient Stirrings = "Ancestral Stirrings". Lol

      It most certainly is. There are times I miss so hard I say another work entirely.
