I honestly don't care who wins this race or any other race, for that matter. I just want to see good clean racing. And I think IndyCar has really hit the sweet spot with this package. Just the right amount of power, plenty of speed, and they look just great. I think I'll stick around for a while...
It's the same nearly every year with Indycar.....10 races and 9 different winners, or thereabouts. I mean, the cheek of it...being so competitive and fantastic to watch.
@@richtakings3359 Every year? I've been a racing enthusiast since the days of Parnelli Jones and front-engine roadsters and I can tell you this much. What you are seeing now is a relatively recent development. Nevertheless, enjoy!
@royszweda4016 I haven't been interested in Formula 1 since the end of the 1980s. But for 30 years up until then, the evolution of Formula 1 was something to behold. But right now, IndyCar is where it's at.
Agreed. Hard-fought races for 13th, 14th, etc. is evidence of a competitive package in a facilitating environment. In F1 this would literally NEVER happen because nobody gets points below 10th position, therefore making the risk-reward completely untenable for any organization running in F1 as a business, which ALL teams are.
What?? In Austria there was overtaking and close action racing throughout the field. Second v third. Fourth v fifth. Perez and Sainz battled for laps on end. Norris and Russell. It was close racing from second down to about 15th. This Indy race was nothing but follow the leader from first to tenth. All spaced out by a couple of seconds between each other. The only close racing was outside the top 10. I think you are getting sucked in by the over excited commentators and a blind view of what's reallly happening.
Thank you for posting this video! Not having cable, and sports being to expensive to pay for on the internet, I really appreciate being able to watch even this shortened version! 🙏 🦂🥂
Alex Palou is on fire 🔥 🔥🔥 The championship is his to lose. The last few laps were awesome!!! The bumping and clashing was in mid pack, BUT points is points!!! Next up, OH CANADA 🇨🇦 🇨🇦🇨🇦, in Toronto 🏁🏁🏁
Like his plug for iRacing. Sweet. Only place you can actually do Indycar simulation and that will remain true for years to come despite it now being 'not indycar' racing.
1) Two weeks in a row the black tires have been virtually identical in speed to the red tires, even over the short run. Shouldn't be. Reds should be clear cut faster tire over short run. Differences in the tires making for better strategies and comers / goers at different points in the run / race. 2) This race needs to be 90 (or even 85) laps again. Make the 3 stop strategy actually viable again. Barber has been awesome because both 2 and 3 stop strategies are viable.
Thanks for the highlights. I wish you give permission to Europe to stream Indycar on Peacock or something. I know Viaplay has it, but it costs friggin 45€/month per month these days in Finland, which is crazy, as I am mainly just watching F1, Motogp and Indycar. I probably switch to just F1 TV for next year and I also have Eurosport Player for like 40-45€ per year something like that.
I don't know what was worse. Pedersen's unnecessarily aggressive defending and holding guys up OR the fact that all drivers had such a difficult time trying to pass with this aero tire combination.
@@johnthefalcon2903 They should clamp down on racing between the lappers and the lapped. Strict blue flag rules. When one lap down, MOVE THE F OVER, we should not see racing for no position
Sorry guys. This mediocre F2 + GT1 inbred. F1 is the place to be. Penske, Andretti and Ghanassi should try F1 as an „experience expensive“ side project. No hard feelings though. Good fightings on Track! On the other hand, I wonder how Lewis Hamilton would do in Indy.

A little fatter tires and at least 100 more hp.

After the austria F1 GP, it was great to see some real racing again. Thanks!
You're absolutelly right!
The Austria sprint was actual good, though....but ya, Indy is just better competitive racing (as usual).

How about showing the result of the race, and the championship score......................I mean come on man !!!!!!!
You never know if they get penalties after the race...
jk, would be super useful
Showing the race results and championship score would definitely be a good and useful thing for people who only see indycar on UA-cam 👍
