Can't thank you enough for posting this! I struggled for 15 minutes trying to detach the hose and was growing increasingly frustrated, especially as the clip was in tight quarters between the sink and faucet. Decided to try youtube and found your video right away. Looks like it has helped countless others. Thanks again!
Dealing with a shoulder injury while trying to disconnect the hose almost drove me insane. As so many others have said, Thank you for taking the time to share what you learned. Turned my whole day around, and that's really cool. Your a good man charlie brown!
Actually I removed the clip and low and behold your life saving video appeared I put it back on and easily pulled off. Thanks a lot and my God bless you.
I had this exact question! I stopped cursing under the sink and found your video as exactly what I needed for my Glacier Bay (Home Depot) sink sprayer. I also used a c-clamp, it worked better than pliers. Thank you!
Excellent! Thank you for sharing this info. I was trying to pull outwards on the clips and getting frustrated so I searched UA-cam thinking "I can't be the only one with this problem" and found your video. I was able to pinch the clips with my fingers and it pulled right off. Easy peasy. Thank you also for keeping your video short and to the point - well done!
THANK YOU! I tried for about an hour in a very uncomfortable position under my sink to understand how this connector worked. I was about to just cut the hose and crush the connector just to get it off. I managed it easily after you explained it so well. I feel like I just had two hours of therapy, a hot bath, and a good meal. Very relaxed now that that issue is fixed. Thank you so so much.
You, Mr. Crowell, are a life saver. I'm installing a new faucet and sprayer and stupidly forgot to slip the sprayer mounting nut onto the hose before making the connection. Fortunately, it's new so finger pressure was enough to disassemble the connection. Many, many thanks.
I'm handyman-challenged, so I was even having trouble assembling my new faucet. Seeing your video helped me see how the quick connect was supposed to work. Then to install it I altered the instructions a bit. I didn't fasten down the faucet fixture first. I put in the spray hose, then I pushed the hose up through the center hole and through the gasket. Then I attached the quick connect hose to the center of the faucet where I could easily see what I was doing and fit the quick connect from the spray hose to the quick connect of the faucet fixture. That way I could align it correctly and easily. Then I fastened down the faucet fixture. Thanks for your video because it showed me how it was supposed to be attached!
I clipped the darn thing onto the brand new faucet and then realized I still had to put the nut on to hold the sprayer. Your video was just what I needed to easily remove the connection, straighten things out and pop it back on again. Thank you so much! I know I would have broken it otherwise.
Bravo! Thanks so much. I put mine on as a new fixture about 7 or 8 years ago and completely forgot how this one attaches and I threw the manual away. Thanks for saving me time and aggravation!
Thank You so much. I fiddled around for twenty minutes trying to figure out how it comes off. Twisting and turning it… luckily not breaking it. It came right off after watching your video and the new one on. No leaks. Thank you so much for the help you provided with us video. 👍😀
It’s never obvious and like many others have said, lying on your back, touch to reach, this video save time and all sorts of physical strain. Thank you for posting!
I just spent 20 mins trying to find a video of how to remove those things. They're are a PAIN to remove. Specially when you have zero space. This helps alot!
You have just saved me the cost of a new faucet as I was ready to just cut the lines. So thanks very much. I was able to disconnect the hose sing a channel lock pliers.
Needed to be able to disconnect the plumbing under my sink in order to save over $300 on a few to have a new sink and countertop installed. Your video help so much! Thank you!!
Lol, just saw this a day too late. I searched and searched and after I tore the crap out of those plastic clips to remove the hose , now today this video comes up on my feed. 😂 Thanks for posting, it will definitely help someone.
Thank you for this! You're a savior! You addressed everything perfectly! I didn't know where to pull bc I didn't know what part actually disconnected like you mentioned!
This video was so helpful didnt know how I was going to get that piece off until I came across this video and used my fingers to snap it off. Thank you so much!
Thank you SO much!! I did a "improvised removal" on the cold side... THEN decided the internet could be my friend and am using your valuable input on the hot and center!! I knew it should have been "simple", (in theory, like what you discovered it is but requires additional hardware!). Sadly, I've mangled one side, but it is the faucet I'm removing, so no harm really! Your video was perfect, and saved me a BUNCH of time and bandaids! (Not to mention brand new swear words!)
Thank you, David, for taking the time to make this video. Obviously it has helped many more people than myself and they are as grateful as I am for your efforts. Much appreciated as you helped my frustration level stay within tolerance (and it was getting close)!
Thanks a million. Mine was 3 years old. I was able to do it with my fingers and then pull it right. I'm giving it to a friend that needs. This is my justification for getting one with a pullout sprayer and soap dispenser. :) My wife is up stairs. I'll have the new one installed in no time.
Thank you! Thank you! We didn't get the sprayer hose replaced for free but we did hunt one down online. This fitting is VERY hard to find. Watched your video to figure it all out. Thank you again. No plumber needed this time 😉
Great video, probably saved alot of people from damaging their faucet. I had a similar issue with my delta faucet sprayer. I bought a Danco sink sprayer (10334) to replace the entire sprayer assembly but i discovered that I could just replace the sprayer handle instead. The handle threaded perfectly onto the hose nut. That saved me alot of trouble, maybe it could save someone else time also.
Thanks for showing the positions of those plastic keepers, saved me from having a disassembled faucet and no sink water, lol. Once I returned them to the right positions, popped right on. Thanks a million. The instructions say NOTHING about it.
Thank you so much! I quick-connected it before install AMD was going crazy trying to disconnect it. Yours was the only video I could find that deals with this specific connector. As someone else has said - thanks for putting the pic in the preview.
Thank you, sir. I though I had broken mine, so I pulled up your video hoping to find out what the name of this clip is. Upon watching I realized I didn't break it at all, the small ring around the pipe is a separate piece all together.
Wow...you are the MVP...I assumed those tabs locked the fitting in place and broke them off trying to remove...luckily the whole clip comes off and I was able to borrow the clip from the new one long enough to remove the old hose.
Like you I tried and tried and could not get mine off either. I didn't have enough strength to push the clips in apparently lol. I'm sure a plumber would have an exact tool to take this loose in a second. The pliers you used was a great solution. Your video is the only one I've found showing my exact problem with an actual solution. Thanks for making this video.
This is the best vid I saw today. I used a spring clamp that I normally use to hold down tarps. Once I clamped it on the tabs the hose came right off. The new one snapped right on. Not a bad design, just a confusing one.
Thanks for this video. It got a free replacement side sprayer from Delta Foundation (lifetime warranty) and just installed it, no tools required. Regards.
Soooooo very thankful for you!!! I was incredibly frustrated and swearing then thought to google my problem- there you were and saved me!! Thank you so much!
Just wanted to say thanks a bunch for your video! These old sprayer hose connections are terrible and hard to find. I removed the clip and wasn't able to get everything reconnected but your video shows how the clip should be placed, and your video helped me get the darn clip back on! If not for your video, I'd prob have to get a new sink! And also, it helped me by save time to just repair the sink sprayer than trying to replace the line as well.
Wow! Thank you so much! This video save me. My faucet waterline is broken and I don't have any clue how to remove the plastic connector. I look for UA-cam but can't find any one. I got frustration but finally I found this so important video.
GREAT video- this really helped me because I had broken off the tabs you press in to remove the old hose. Finally got it all removed. The Delta replacement I got will not fit...so in the end, I didn't save myself money, I had to call my plumber because it needs an adapter and I don't know what kind I need
THANK YOU! The Delta replacement was supposed to come with directions, but didn't. Pushing the tabs was near impossible due to the deep marble counter top it was stuffed up in, so it was hard to tell if there was actually something I wasn't understanding, or if I just needed a better tool on those tabs.
Thank you for sharing this. I was not figuring it out and working under my kitchen sink is right at the top with my least favorite things in the world. The world is a safer place thanks to you! 🤣
Thanks for making the video I had the same clip on the hose going to my sink but I found out the hard way my sprayer had a different size connection than the hose I bought, so you definitely have to confirm fittings on both ends before settling on a hose, sprayer end and was not the same at all, while the clip on and was exactly the same.
Dude you're a legend. Was trying to wrestle with this thing with one hand at an awkward angle and the clip popped off. After I watched youre video I was done in 5 minutes. Keep on doing God's work :)
Thanks so much. I would have destroyed something trying to get the old hose assembly off without your very helpful (and to the point) video. My faucet was new enough I could just use my fingers unhook the assembly (Delta RP44493 Hose Assembly, Blocks and O-rings).
Thank you! I had removed the clips thinking that was what was holding it altogether. After watching this, I put the clips back on and it worked for 2 of the 3 connections. I still ended up having to cut the third hose and yanking it out.
Im supposing like everyone else here the first look at this connection was the fear of busting something. so thanks for taking the time to show us through what you have found
Can't thank you enough for posting this! I struggled for 15 minutes trying to detach the hose and was growing increasingly frustrated, especially as the clip was in tight quarters between the sink and faucet. Decided to try youtube and found your video right away. Looks like it has helped countless others. Thanks again!
Being able to pull up this video on my phone while halfway under the sink was a blessing. Thank you!
Dealing with a shoulder injury while trying to disconnect the hose almost drove me insane. As so many others have said, Thank you for taking the time to share what you learned. Turned my whole day around, and that's really cool. Your a good man charlie brown!
I’ve been a plumber for 20 years and still couldn’t get this clip off!! I was about to pull out my hair til I saw your video thank you good sir
Actually I removed the clip and low and behold your life saving video appeared I put it back on and easily pulled off. Thanks a lot and my God bless you.
I did the same thing. Wasn't sure what that clip was
Thank you for the only video I found about this connector, even from Delta. Your demonstration was perfect.
Thank you for putting this in the thumb nail, would not have found it otherwise
I had this exact question! I stopped cursing under the sink and found your video as exactly what I needed for my Glacier Bay (Home Depot) sink sprayer. I also used a c-clamp, it worked better than pliers. Thank you!

Many, many thanks.
Thank You ! after half an hour under the sink I backed out came here. Thanks for going through trouble to make this video.
This was exactly what I was looking for! You described the problem very clearly about not knowing how it comes apart. Thank you!
Thank you for making this video because I have that exact clip on mine ... it saved me to learn what to do and what to not do.
I'm handyman-challenged, so I was even having trouble assembling my new faucet. Seeing your video helped me see how the quick connect was supposed to work. That was a smart way to go about it. Maybe you're not as HM-challenged as you think you are.
Thanks so much! The hose guide broke on my sprayer and disconnecting this clip was the only way to replace it. You're a life saver!
I clipped the darn thing onto the brand new faucet and then realized I still had to put the nut on to hold the sprayer. Your video was just what I needed to easily remove the connection, straighten things out and pop it back on again. Thank you so much! I know I would have broken it otherwise.
FANTASTIC! I would never have figured this out without your help. Thank you
Bravo! Thanks so much. I put mine on as a new fixture about 7 or 8 years ago and completely forgot how this one attaches and I threw the manual away. Thanks for saving me time and aggravation!
You just saved me hours of headache and confusion. You deserve a real metal for this one. Thank you!
I was trying to move those tabs outward, not inward like ive done with other clip ons. I would never have thought press tabs inward. Thank you!
Well three years after your video and you just saved me a lot of time! Thanks
Thank You so much. I fiddled around for twenty minutes trying to figure out how it comes off. Twisting and turning it… luckily not breaking it. It came right off after watching your video and the new one on. No leaks. Thank you so much for the help you provided with us video. 👍😀

Currently laying under my sink right now trying to remove this thing. This video is a lifesaver. Thank you so much!
Are we in the same house? I've been at it since 6:30 and there is NO WAY the connector could have been de-ciphered otherwise.
You have just saved me the cost of a new faucet as I was ready to just cut the lines. So thanks very much. I was able to disconnect the hose sing a channel lock pliers.
Thanks so very much for this information. Saved my stress level by a ton!

Awesome! I actually removed the plastic clip and found nothing was coming off - found this vid & you saved my afternoon. Many thanks, sink brother!

Worked perfectly, I thought you had to spread the tangs when you really have to squeeze them, popped right off, thanks again

Thanks for taking the time and doing this video! I was able to replace the sprayer no problem. It’s all thanks to you. :)
Was stumped on how to do this, a quick search brought me right to this video. Thanks so much for the help!
Thank you, sir. I though I had broken mine, so I pulled up your video hoping to find out what the name of this clip is. Upon watching I realized I didn't break it at all, the small ring around the pipe is a separate piece all together.
Thank you! Been searching UA-cam all over and finally found your video. It worked like a charm!
Wow...you are the MVP...I assumed those tabs locked the fitting in place and broke them off trying to remove...luckily the whole clip comes off and I was able to borrow the clip from the new one long enough to remove the old hose.
Took a bit to find your video but glad I did. Worked very easily! Even removed one with my fingers! Thank you!
George Friday totally agree!

Thank you! I almost broke the clips off in frustration but found this video instead. Many thanks for sharing.
God bless you for this video... You saved me from using profanity...
This is just what I needed! Thank you for helping me get the job done.
Soooooo very thankful for you!!! I was incredibly frustrated and swearing then thought to google my problem- there you were and saved me!! Thank you so much!
Thank you! I have been messing with one of these for 15 minutes. Saw your video and got it to pop off in 10 seconds! Thanks again for the post.
For real! I was all cramped up trying to figure that out, then said let me check UA-cam.
Just wanted to say thanks a bunch for your video! These old sprayer hose connections are terrible and hard to find. GREAT video- this really helped me because I had broken off the tabs you press in to remove the old hose. Finally got it all removed. Thanks, this was super helpful! The only thing anyone on their back under a sink wants to do is to get it done and get outta there.
Thank you for sharing this. I was not figuring it out and working under my kitchen sink is right at the top with my least favorite things in the world. The world is a safer place thanks to you! 🤣
Tried this! Thanks for help! I ended up just smashing it off and buying a new faucet! 💯
I appreciate your assistance. I located your video for my husband and hopefully we'll have this replaced soon. Thank you!!💧🚿🛁
Thank you so much! I couldn’t figure it out for the life of me until I watched this video!

Thanks you saved the day, my wife was pissed trying to get this unhooked. So I watched your video and snap! Got it! Cheers
Dude you're a legend. Was trying to wrestle with this thing with one hand at an awkward angle and the clip popped off. After I watched youre video I was done in 5 minutes. Keep on doing God's work :)
your video really helps me to take off the piece that I need it off.
This video was a huge $$$ saver! I almost ripped out my faucet and replaced it! Thanks!!!
Thanks so much. I would have destroyed something trying to get the old hose assembly off without your very helpful (and to the point) video. My faucet was new enough I could just use my fingers unhook the assembly (Delta RP44493 Hose Assembly, Blocks and O-rings).
You are awesome!!! Thank you! You are the only person on the planet that gave this information!
Thank you! I had removed the clips thinking that was what was holding it altogether. After watching this, I put the clips back on and it worked for 2 of the 3 connections. I still ended up having to cut the third hose and yanking it out.
Thanks buddy. I couldn’t figure it out either. With your help mine came off in half a second
Im supposing like everyone else here the first look at this connection was the fear of busting something. so thanks for taking the time to show us through what you have found
Thank you. With the wiggle technique you showed under the sink I was able to wiggle mine off with my fingers.
Thanks for this video! Helped me replace my sprayer with a minimum of fuss.
I cant express how helpful this was. Thank you. I was about to rage quit.....
thanks for saving HOURS of frustration, you made a 30 second disconnect job !
Thank you very much for this video. I was struggling myself and about to give up before I saw this😁
Thanks for putting this out! I was banging my head against the wall. I was able to do it with my fingers.
I had been trying to do this for over 30 minutes! Thank you!
Like everyone else said THANK YOU for posting this!! No one else posted about this specific clip. Its amazing how gravity helps with the pull.
It worked!! A 1000 blessings on you and your family!
I had the same connector but not those special pliers. I ended up being able to press the sides in using a butter knife. Thank you for posting this!
I removed the clip and tried to detach it but then put it back on after watching your video. Thank you.
Omg two hours into this and saw this video now I've got to go ice my back and then put the clip back on! 🙏🏼
Perfect - exactly what I needed. Thank you!
Thank you for cutting the frustration down to zero!
Thank you so much. Saved me having a plumber come out. Mine came out easily with fingers.
Thank you for posting! I say as I’m laying under my sink. Lol. It was just what I needed popped right off.
You rock, sir. Thank you for showing us how to get that plastic clamp off!
Video helped out alot, didnt know how the clip came off, once i knew, i used 2 tooth picks to jam on both sides and the clip came off very easily
Thanks for this video. Once you showed me how it worked, it was easy.
Dude! Thanks so much! I’ve been trying to figure this out for a month
Thank you for very much for making this video, I was having hard time to remove the old sprayer. Very vey helpful.
