Mossend Railway Yard (South End) on 19th May 1992
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of Mossend Railway Yard (South end) taken on 19/05/1992. Yes yet another visit to a favourite of mine, much the same as before but the noticable decline in appearrances of the class 26s. Still a very interesting and popular site though and for a long time to come. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually. Sit back and enjoy this latest production remembering all those now long gone Locomotive classes and other types of traction. Many thanks for all subscriptions and all of those viewers who have kindly shown an interest in my material. - Авто та транспорт

21:20 Was all that smoke from a Class 37 tune-up?
Nah, just a scrapyard fire. 🤣
Pretty impressive freight moves at the yard, btw! 🚂👍
Yet another scrap yard fire....Many thanks Dave...Mark
Wow what a Great Day you had there
It was quite memorable....best wishes Paul....Mark
Sad to think a year later Ravenscraig steel works and Eastfield TMD were shut down and most of this traffic was lost.
Yes that is sorry news as I used to visit Eastfield depot a lot in the 1970s.....Many thanks ...Mark
Hope your actors dont charge current equity rates and want royalties!!
They were not cheap you know and were there all day too......many thanks...Mark
How the hell did they not get nicked for trespass? Especially without hi viz.
The railway seemed to tolerate it at this location...Amazing to think that even then...Best regards...Mark
