Why?? You’re asking WHY we love your channel? Because you’re an effing lunatic! You are absolutely insane! You’re just like us! No pretentiousness, just loving music, especially the music that many of us grew up with. Thanks for what you do!
Yes trust us!!!!,which is easier to write than to pronounce ua-cam.com/video/OorZcOzNcgE/v-deo.html the voice of Ian Gillan is crushed in the audio version, and you will also be able to hear the musical power of the whole group
Such a great band, probably the godfathers of feel-good rock, musicians at the very top of their game, so many great songs, Lazy, Highway Star, Burn, Space Truckin, Hush, Strange Kind of Women, Black Night, Pictures of Home, Speed King, Soldier of Fortune all bangers for sure.
I've been sitting here with a massive grin watching you reacting and knowing what's coming next. The singer is the incomparable Ian Gillan, known back in the day as 'The Hairy Scream' for reasons which need no explanation. The incredible guitar and keyboard combo of Ritchie Blackmore and John Lord and the rock solid bass and drums from Roger Glover and Ian Paice. What a band!
Jon Lord, the keyboard player was classically trained, and played a Hammond organ. However, he wanted to compete with guitar players, so took the output from the organ & put it through guitar distortion effects, amplifiers & speakers
Great choice! Check out their songs, "Hush," "Smoke On the Water," "Lazy" and "Highway Star" Guitar - Ritchie Blackmore, Drums - Ian Paice, Bass -Roger Glover, keyboards - Jon Lord
Deep Purple is one of those bands who started in the 60s/70s, and are still around today, to an extent. They've undergone countless personnel changes over the time, but this is generally considered to be the best & definitive line-up.
@@mrrandomnessfin IMO, Close to The Edge is a little tough to cut your Yes teeth on. I've been suggesting "Roundabout", "South Side of the Sky" and "Yours is no Disgrace".
Ian Gillan has a gorgeous voice. ❤ He was lead vocals for Black Sabbath in 1983 and he played Jesus in Andrew Lloyd Webbers rock opera, Jesus Christ Superstar.
Ian Gillan. Went on to a solo album then joined up with Black Sabbath for "Born Again." Came back to Deep Purple for Perfect Strangers. Drummer is Ian Paice. One of the greatest underrated drummers ever.
Very interesting! I’ve never heard of the band alot before and when I listened to it, they were good w/ Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd combined. And I’ve also heard that the lead singer is the member of the band called Whitesnake, in which they sang the song 🎶 called”Here I go again” and “Is this love?” Thanks so very much for sharing your reaction and it’s a like and thumbs up. and you have every right to do whatever you want w/ your content, it’s awesome and keep up the awesome 👏 work.😄👍#deeppurple

Love and peace from Perth Australia 😎👋🎵🎶🎵🦘
In the mid 70's the guitarist Richie Blackmore started a band called Rainbow, Sixteenth Century Greensleves was a big song for them, I would suggest the live version in Munich 1977. Another great reaction, as always.👍

For me, that little something that makes deep purple sound like deep purple, is the organist, and how he blends with guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, and the Drummer Ian Paice. They are quite a unique sound when the go into their music interludes... which they tend to do alot of.

Deep Purple and Black Sabbath are the fathers of metal. This is 1970! This song is still among many lists of the top 100 best rock songs. The seventies was the best time to invent in music. Musically, Deep Purple are even more ahead of their time than Led Zeppelin. But all these band were I sanely good!

That voice! Ian Gillan to me always will sound like Jesus!
