Wow! Am I glad I found you today, 9-27-2022! Was an Investigator for 26 years and specialized in Copyright & Trademark Infringement cases; also did Patent violations. A few years ago, I came across Junk Journaling and all the crafts retated thereto and fell in love. I have been careful when it comes to using an image and I've been looking for something like this! i'd love to see more on this topic. Thank you!
Wow - just wow! I’ll never have to purchase digital images again! Just ‘found’ you today, April 2024 , and am I ever glad. Time to buy you a few coffees!
I have been planning to sell on etsy lately and are searching for photos or images that i can use on my project. I was having a hard time until today! 4/4/2024. I am so glad to find your video. Even though its 4 years ago, it still helped me a million. 😊 Thanks for sharing your tips.
Oh, my gosh Susan!!! All I can say is WOW!!!!! I would to know more!!!!! My brain gets so bogged by everything and I know I have used things I shouldn't have not knowing I shouldn't haave. Thank you for you video!!!!!! Yes, I want to see more of your videos on what and how to use them correctly!!!!!! And now I see this video is from 4 years ago!!!!!! Well, I have some catching up to do!!!!!
This video is SO helpful. The main thing that keeps me from making collages is the legal stuff and that I’m never sure of which pictures I can use and which ones not. Now it’s more clear to me. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much. I have bought so many digital kits that I now see the sellers have found the images on Flickr…which I had no idea existed! Thank you so much.x
I have been on Flicker for years and never knew this. I can not thank you enough for all your great information and showing us so much. This is great video. Thank you.
this is one of the most informative videos I've ever seen! I just started making junk journals about a year ago, and I had no idea about this - thank you so much!!
Susan I watched this a second time before I had enough brains to actually comment. This is a wonderful resource for everyone. I did share it because I found it extremely helpful. ❣️💜💙💚
These videos are so helpful to me. I wish I was more computer literate about downloading and storing. I never even heard of Tiff before today, lol. I know you did these 4 years ago but they are valid forever and so helpful❤. Happy Easter
I’m so happy you did this video Susan! Being retired, I can’t afford digitals, so I have gotten 3 over 3 years ago and a lot of freebies this past week only. Now knowing about this, I’m in Heaven!!! Holy Moly what a treasure trove of photographs and illustrations to choose from to get my stash going. Thanks so much for explaining this to me. I appreciate any freebies I can snag that aren’t copyrighted or not public domain. ❤
You are a real treasure! I watched several of your videos and decided that I had to subscribe. Content, interest, engagement, and your warm personality make your channel an inviting experience.
Yes they really have changed a lot. This video is 5 years old. Hopefully I can get back to it one of these days, but since I'm no longer making digital art myself, it's not my primary focus. I'm sorry for the confusion.💚
Thank you so much for this video !! I just love to lose myself in rabbit holes like these all photos albums !!! Really appreciate your sharing ! Take care, Natalie
What a gift for sharing! I am new to the graphic arts and to the hidden worlds of the internet (my 12 year old granddaughter taught me how to leave this comment). I am so very grateful to find this post and you, Susan! Thank you for your generosity.....Happy Days ahead!
Coming over from Artymaze and subbed you. Wow wow wow!!! I’ve been wondering where everyone would get their pretty images to make digital papers. This is an answer to prayer! Yes please to more of these kind of vids. I’ll search you channel for them and also to see if you did a reverse image search. That would be so helpful too. So glad I found you and that you took the time and effort to let us know. I had no idea how to search! Thanks so very very much! Blessings from the Netherlands.
I think it's wonderful Susan has shared her wealth of knowledge with us all and very unselfishly; she's definitely a breath of fresh air for sure. I also subscribed to her and found out about her from my girlfriend over at Tape n Twine. I'm so excited about all of this !!
Thank you. This series was important to me five years ago when I was working with digital art I think the playlist is as complete as it’s going to get now.
You popped up in my feed today! Glad I took a look. I haven’t been this excited over a video since I first started watching jj videos! Thank you for sharing! Now I’m gonna mosey over to your page and check what other nuggets you have! Thank you for sharing!
Fabulous. I am very careful to look for public domain pictures. I did not know that Flickr was free to join and free to print. What wonderful news looking forward to your next video
Thank you, Susan for your time and willingness to share this wealth of information. It is so very much appreciated. It takes the guess work out of wondering what is legally acceptable. What a wonderful "rabbit hole" you've guided us to :) Looking forward to watching the rest of the videos in this series and beyond and to visit your Etsy shop.
Wow! So glad you popped up on my feed today. I’ve been doing the google search way of fining illustrations and it’s horrible. This is sooo much better. Thank you. I look forward to seeing future vlogs on this subject.

What a treasure you are. I have just started into the world of public domain images and so far only got very limited idea of where to go. So thankful to you for showing this. Wonderful!
I am so happy - beyond belief that I found this. I’m making junk journals and I was really concerned about copywriter issues. No one speaks about this.
wow wow wow. tremendous resource you have shared. echoing another who said, now i know where so many of the online digi downloads came from. great gratitude to you. now off to explore more. :)
I see people using vintage book covers, from the the NY Public Library, but I am having trouble finding book cover images. I don't know if it may bey search terms, or what. Some of these websites don't make it easy to find things. I am not looking for a specific book, but like Children's Christmas book covers...but when I search that, it doesn't seem to pull up what I am looking for. Thank you for putting these videos out. I know it is an older series, but every crafter, or anyone, really, should be watching this series. I find it strange that pictures from books, or even the story line, can be used as public domain.
Oh my, thank you so very much Susan for showing me how to use Flickr and where to find public domain photo's. I found you thru Nina on UA-cam. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge to us.
Susan, this is amazing. YOU are amazing! Thank you for all this excellent information. I'm really excited to see what other sites you know about, open to the public! Learn something new, everyday!
I cannot tell you in words how thankful I am that you are doing this series...Your the best, looking forward to the next video! Hugs from north Carolina
I just ran across your site and subscribed. I needed this so much as don't have much money right now. I would like to see more of the places you go. This was so helpful. I would also like to see how to do a reverse image search video. I just scanned some 100 year old postcards that I purchased some years ago but I need to check that they are copyright free before I use them. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. My videos on finding free images were made 5 years ago when I was just getting started on UA-cam and I am doing a lot of digital art. I no longer work in that medium so I'm not really updating them. But you can go to the playlist that I have and there are multiple videos there that talk about other places you can go. There's also a video talking about the reverse image search which is easy enough to do by going to Google images or using the website called TinEye But I do have a video walking you through it over on that playlist.
I created a Pinterest board where I pin websites that host public domain images so I have that wonderful digital organization that Pinterest provides but I know it’s what I’m looking for
