What size EWG and weight were you using with the Big EZ?

Thanks for bringing that up. Totally crossed my mind.
I believe I was using a 6/0. If not, definitely a 7/0 but I know for sure it was a 1/4oz weight.

I bought a pack of Big EZ's a while back and used them for the first time on top of some lilly pads but it just seemed like the bait wasn't running right and the tail wasn't "swimming" the way it should have.....I was fishing them weightless and wasn't sure if I got a bad pack or wasn't using the right hook/weight. I'm not a frog guy, so I'm always looking for productive topwater stuff to use in thick-ish types of cover.....I just moved down here from Virginia/Maryland so it's a bit tough to use my go to topwater's (poppers and walking baits) down here in this thick stuff.....thanks again. 👍
