Iphone Microphones can be very helpful for creating content for social media. The Ulanzi J12 is a budget friendly Iphone Microphone that I am testing to see if the sound quality is better than the iphone built-in mic. I put the Ulanzi J12 microphone through a few various tests and the audio is very rich and pleasing. Overall the Ulanzi J12 mic is a good choice for a portable Iphone Microphone for UA-cam, Vlogging, Tik Tok and more.

Very good audio BUT NEEDS TO BE MUCH CLOSER TO YOUR MOUTH. Lower down on your zip jacket it's not nearly as good.

Yeah it seems to be pretty good for quick on the go recording. I keep it in a bag so I always have it.

Hey man, I was watching your review of Ulanzi J12 and thought to ask you about its long-term performance, if you still have it and use it anyways.
I love Ulanzi kit, but it does pick up wind noise on your demo. Other reviews show its wind noise reduction is not the best.
I haven't really played with the wind noise reduction. I tend not to like digital or electronic wind reduction because it always sounds hollow to me. A good dead-cat or something similar is always a better choice.

I just have a portable tripod and phone holder. Nothing particularly special.
Are you currently experiencing issues with the j12? I’ve had mine for a while and they are great but recently they stopped working.
The transmitter will connect to my phone, my mic will connect as it should but my phone isn’t registering the mic even though signs in the equipment themselves say they’re connected.
