You're a brave dude to share it with your wife. Sam Kinison (RIP) didn't "pass away", he was killed by a drunk driver out in the desert between Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
I saw this as part of Rodney Dangerfield's Ninth Annual Young Comedians Special way back in the 80's. I still have the entire show running thru my head.
I first saw this in 1984. It’s never gets old. Regrettably, I ignored Sam’s advice. Ah, those were different times. Sam was raised to be a fundamentalist preacher. He later walked away from that abusive lifestyle. But that’s where his unique, high volume, high intensity delivery comes from. A drunk driver in a pickup truck took his life. We miss you, Sam.
Ya his death was another stupid thing that shouldn't have happened. Drunks in vehicles are a menace to society and should be punished much more harshly than it is. I remember Sam back in the 80s. He was a FORCE back then. You couldn't mistake him and his voice when you heard it. I loved him in movies too. I will point out one of my favorites from back then... Back to School with Rodney Dangerfield ...as one.
@@normanfrye6436great! episode. He grabbed Peggy’s butt in the episode and i believe it was improvised… his reaction and Peggy’s reaction were awesome.😂😂
Guys the one you noticed of Sam in the black jacket and beret is hysterical. Love watching you and your wife do reactions together btw. By the way, as a young guy Sam was a Pentecostal preacher. Imagine that!!!!! Wishing you two and all your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and prosperous New Year. Y'all stay safe and well.
Sam made his career screaming about subjects like how you should not get married, doing drugs, drinking and driving (and getting away with it).. in 1992, he got sober, and was on his way to his honeymoon with his new wife.. when they got hit and killed by a drunk driver. that was some serious irony.
if you didn't know and you see how he reels you in then blasts you Sam was a pentalcostle preacher raised by the same, he went to High School with my old boss in East Peoria Il.
If you get a chance, watch Back To School with Rodney Dangerfield. Sam is in the movie as a college history professor. His screaming alter ego tends to come out when he's teaching.😅
Your wife is an absolutely stunning woman. I expect that you're treating this fine lady with respect, care and protection. She just got you a subscribe.
The first time I saw or ever heard of Sam was at the Comedy Store in Hollywood. Never heard of him. I had a front seat. It was one of the most shocking experiences of my life. I don't think I have ever laughted so hard. I was startled!
You need to react to his video of his version of the song “ Wild Thing” that he has about a dozen of his ‘80’s rock star friends in the video with him … it’s hilarious 😂
I just want to say that I have been enjoying your reactions, and am going through some of your past ones to watch. I also want to say that really enjoyed you video "Shout." I thought it was well done. I also would like to say that the few reactions I've seen with your wife are priceless. Y'all make a great looking couple, and the one that your daughter appeared toward the end shows a great looking and loving family.
fun fact: Sam was a preacher before he started doing stand up. He left the church when it got fed up with all of it. Hes talked about it in interviews and even in his sets.

So if I Remember correctly. Sam Kenison got married, was driving down Route 66 either into Vegas or out of Vegas on his honeymoon and got kills on a head on collision. You can’t make that shit up.
Sam Kinison was an amazing stand up comic.. but his BEST stuff was when he would come into the Howard Stern Show at 6 or 7am, and if he wasn't already inebriated, he would get there on the air! Sam was a former Baptist preacher (his family were all preachers or involved in the church).. As a stand up comic he took the world by storm in the 80's. He went from doing small clubs, to selling out 20,000 seat arenas within a year. He had a few brief scene stealing appearances in Rodney Dangerfield's movie Back to School as an angry Vietnam War veteran/history professor. He started hanging around with rock stars.. and his shows evolved into part comedy, part rock concert. He briefly dated Jessica Hahn, whose 15 minutes of fame came because she was the woman who TV Evangalist Jim Bakker was having an affair with... and he had an AWESOME public breakup/fight on the Howard Stern Show! He was completely out of control when it came to drugs & alcohol.. He lost a few roles in Hollywood movies and TV because of a reputation of being "difficult to work with".. and because he offended half of Hollywood. And this was before everyone was as oversensitive as people are today! He was trying to stay sober in 1992 and married his 4th wife on April 4, 1992. On April 10, 1992. Sam was driving through the desert to go do shows in a casino in Nevada when he was hit head on by a drunk driver. His brother was in a van following him and stopped. Sam seemed to be ok and got out of the car.. then he lay down.. His brother says he was "looking right through me" and saying "why now? I don't wanna go now." Like he was having a conversation with someone... Then got a calm look on his face and said "ok" 3 times.. he passed the third time he said "ok". He was 38 years old. In the late 1990's after the success of his own movie, Private Parts, Howard Stern bought the rights to Sam's story with a promise of making a movie.... but that's never gonna happen.

Sam was riding a celebrity wave when his life was taken by a teenage drunk driver in 1992. Sam suffered multiple internal injuries when the drunk crossed the median and hit Sam's car head-on. Sam wasn't wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
In the 80's i was in the Army. Me and my roommate would get drunk listening to Sam and Dice theeeeeeeen go out to pick up women. Imagine how that went, but damn it was funny.

Samuel Burl Kinison (/ˈkɪnɪsən/ KIN-iss-ən; December 8, 1953 - April 10, 1992) was an American stand-up comedian and actor. A former Pentecostal preacher, he performed stand-up routines that were characterized by intense sudden tirades, punctuated with his distinctive scream, similar to charismatic preachers. Initially performing for free, Kinison became a regular fixture at The Comedy Store, where he met and eventually befriended such comics as Robin Williams and Jim Carrey. Kinison's comedy was crass observational humor, especially towards women and dating, and his popularity grew quickly, leading to appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, Late Night with David Letterman and Saturday Night Live. At the peak of his career in early 1992, he was killed in a car crash, aged 38. Kinison received a Grammy nomination in 1988 for the single "Wild Thing" from his Have You Seen Me Lately? album, and a posthumous win in 1994 for Best Spoken Comedy Album, Live from Hell.[
Love it! Sam Kinison was amazing! Ohh, for the holiday season check out "Small Town Titan's - You're a mean one Mr Grinch". Even if you don't post a reaction, I think you and your wife would enjoy it.
I bought a an Ensoniq Mirage keyboard from the keyboard player for ORU(Oral Roberts University) way back in the early 90s, and included within the HUGE collection of floppy disc's that came with it, was a disc dedicated to Sam Kinison. Previous to this Kinison was attending ORU, as he wanted to be a preacher, and as near as I can tell the samples on that disc were recorded by him personally as none of them accurately match any comedy routine I have heard from him.
He was in back to school as a teacher with Rodney Dangerfield. That movie was absolutely hilarious.
I was going to say his and Rodney Dangerfield's stand up are similar
