- A video I put together of a 3000 mile road trip I took in my 370Z. Destinations include Charleston WV, Blue Ridge Parkway, and the Tail of the Dragon. This video is a bit different than my usual uploads which typically consist of DIYs. Hope you enjoy!

The 350z has been my dream car as a child, and now I’m a bit more into the 370z, but still, almost 28 yo and haven’t been able to get myself one so far (or any vehicle ever, to be precise 😅. But you know, not an easy home place and background).
I put my hard effort and went as far as I could in life, so next year it’s finally happening and I am hopefully getting myself my first vehicle. I am between a van or my dream sports car, because I do love and want to travel lots with it (but sports car = life too, and a good one), so I have been researching so much about everything I could think of regarding the Z and specially, people experiencing traveling with sports cars in general. Hard to find much content about it, but then I happen to find your video...and you own the Z...
Anyway, thank you so much for sharing this experience with us. I got deeply sad to see what happened to the Z, but so glad that you handled it very well and most importantly, got out of it completely fine!!

I'd love to take my Z on a big road trip.
The Z is my first rwd car with power over 100hp lol so I treat it with a ton of respect at the moment. I turned traction control off and went around a corner at what I thought was a low speed in third in the dry with the intent to do a powerslide and it didn't take much to get it sideways, and I've got decent Michelin pilot super sports
The Z gets sideways really easy for sure! I've lost the rear end a couple times too since I put the locking diff in.
@@thecarizon504 Mine has the factory VLSD... Also have since realised mine has been tuned with uprev, I bought it thinking it just had Injen intakes and an Invidia catback, but after getting under it looks like it has pretty much custom exhaust components from the headers back. I have since driven a stock Z and realise mine now has a bit more power than stock.
I almost wrecked into a row of trees trying to slide into a left turn back in June. What I didn't notice was the downward grade of the pavement which caused me to under compensate for inertia when counter steering. I got into a bad skid and just barely saved it.

Hello, nice to meet you, I hope to do a road trip around the United States when I visit the country, I have a huge desire to know each state I like to know about the culture and history, thanks for showing a little about some states, it must have been a adventure and so much to do with a 370z, it would be very interesting to make more videos of this type of content showing more about how amazing it is to travel with it and showing more about the States of your country.

As a fellow Z owner and a Need For Speed franchise enthusiast, I have always had the 370Z/350Z as my dream car. Now an owner of a 370z, I have played NFS: The Run which is an xBox 360 game focusing on racing from the Golden Gate to the Empire State and that is exactly what i want to eventually do with mine. Great video!! I watched every second of it and many parts, over and over again. You earned all your subscribers and likes. Once again, great job!!

I did the same run last year in a Nismo Z I know the video does not give your run any justice as huge grades and inclination angles
In the future drive your race and learn to brake when straight then power thru the turns. I was king 👑 of the hill last year as per my time with the Dragon. The fact you show your error in your drive . Shows me you are human as per i. No ones perfect I like your car can’t wait to see it all back together cheers and happy new year 🇨🇦

I will be looking for a Nismo 370z late next year as i have always wanted one. I really can't wait to go on a long road trip in the UK where i'm from.
America has many nice places and roads especially the tail of the dragon.

Yeah you have to be careful Texarkana there's a couple of fast cars that I have owned in the past I almost smashed into a deer around Texarkana that's my home I live in Fort Worth now though

@mike school Maybe he Panicked. Hiit the brakes on a curve late, powerslid off the road. ABS won’t save you from that. Maybe if you have traction control on, and just turned crazy hard, it would fish tail and right itself. Had that happen once in my 370Z Nismo. Nearly broke my thumbs- now I leave VDC off if I’m doing crazy shit. I once hit my brakes in my Z at like 70mph going down a steep hill in the rain in California and hydroplaned through a red light at a T junction, across 4 lanes of traffic and into a ditch. Shit happens. I learned my lesson about driving in the rain. You know more about that than we do in CA. I was so lucky and only messed up one fender. I was amazed not to total out into the cars crossing the intersection. I skated through gaps and missed everyone. Whew!

When I was a teen I would push my car out of our town home driveway when I was sneaking over to my girlfriend's place, seeing you push the z brang back too many memories, great video man.

No, you don't need, I go often to Blood Mountain surrounding area and it's incredible, I try to go there often and it's safe in the very very morning. What a place!

Just saw ur vlog amazing job ..regarding the accident ..first it was damp as in wet condition ..second u could have taken that turn easily without any issue if u wouldn’t have pressed brakes while turning .u brake before or after never at a turn especially when it’s damp ..the computer took the power back from you which in turn made the car slide and go straight .

How do you get drone shots while driving?
And how do you get shots of your car driving? Do you drive back to get your camera? I’m always interested in how youtuber do this 😅
Drone shots are done by sending the drone somewhere, it will then hover in position while you drive by. For follow shots, the drone has active track, sobit will follow an object autonomously. Drive by shots on the ground require you to drive back and get the camera.

Yup, a 350made me learn I’m not as good as I thought. Never wrecked in 19 years of driving until a z. Most fwd of course which is like beginner driving compared to rwd with some power. I love my 370.
@@bjornironsides6474 I got rid of my Z during the Covid pandemic, but I’ll get another one.
I had lost my job and had to cut ties with things that were costing me too much.
My first 350z was was wrecked by me turning off traction control. Went too fast in a turn and lost control without any experience of counter steering at high speeds.

@@7eamGhast same thing happened to me. Just a bit too much mustard in second gear on turn. Wasn’t trying to slide it, but traction was off in my ignorance. Sideways, let off instead of ease throttle, and snap back. Curb won. The car did everything right, I just lacked the know how.
@@bjornironsides6474 100% happened exactly like that to me, snap over steer and took out a sign and went over the curb, thankfully my control arms and wheel all crumbled and it isolated most the damage to just the rear passenger side.
It humbled me and I’ve never made that mistake or any for that matter again. And I’m so grateful I didn’t hurt anyone.

Hit the brakes way too late, I had gathered up too much speed on a down hill segment, the smoke is a combination of brake lock and understeer from the front tires
Panicked. He hit the brakes on a curve, powerslided off road. ABS won’t save you from that. Don’t know if your LSD (non-stock diff) caused issues in that exact situation.

Greta video. I recently made a drive from South Florida to Gatlinburg, TN. and 2 years ago I did a European road trip from Madrid,Spain to Marseille, France.
Yes it's cheaper and faster to fly but there is nothing like driving through each town, crossing state and even country lines like you said soaking in the miles..or even the kilometers.
I never seen so many trucks in one view 7:06 plus traffic oh my word what a nightmare.
