    Today we are reviewing the latest Venezianico Nereide called Ceramica as it uses a ceramic bezel.
    With a glossy enamel black dial and glossy ceramic insert, it makes for an elegant and dressy diver, while the floaring markers and thin, beautifully sculpted and finished case make it wear comfortably at 42mm in diameter.
    It manages to capture the spirit of the modern Rolex Submariner, while at the same time looking nothing like one, being completely original and keeping Venezianico design DNA, which makes me like it even more.
    The watch is powered by Sellita SW200 movement and comes with an option of a steel bracelet or rubber strap, and while I always opt and prefer watches on bracelets, with this one, the rubber just makes it look amazing, and it is one of only few watches where I think the rubber strap is the better option, not to mention it makes it cheaper as well.
    I have yet to feature a Venezianico that isn''t gorgeous :)

    Price is not OK,you can buy Wise for 600 with 904 steel better craftsmanship,QC control,insane ar coating and for me with better movement beacuse miyota 9 series is better than sw200,4r 35, 6r 35 and especially better than powermatic 80.

      Venezianico uses the Myota 9039 on the Nereide Tungsteno 39. 10.5mm thickness vs. Wise 11.6mm, tungsten bezel and mother of pearl dial (like it or not, they are pretty expensive things) for € 765.
      Regardless what you consider better (I like Myota movements) Sellita movements are more expensive for the manufacturer.

      "miyota 9 series is especially better then powermatic 80'' you dont know what you are talking about...they are on the same par, quality speaking. the powermatic 80 has a big plus in serviceability and part availability. and i am speaking about the powermatic 80 with all metal movement.

    Not practical as diver watch. Hour hand and minute hand are too similar.
    Also: design is bland - there are hundreds similar watches.

    I would not call this an original design. One can look at certain Seiko, Ball and Rolex models and piece together some of their design elements and come up with this model. However, I will admit this is a beautiful time piece. Ultimately though I would not purchase a watch from Venezianico. I am one of the original backers on their Kickstarter campaign and it was a nightmare. Good video!

      What was your experience with them?

    • @michaels2787
      @michaels2787 Рік тому

      @@doctoralgy8186 We had a very, very long delay that was way beyond acceptable with little or no communication. I understand it’s Kickstarter and you take a risk, but that does not keep you from getting pissed. I and many others filed a dispute with our credit card issuer and I for one received a credit. Within a week Venezianico shipped my watch and the bank reversed the credit. Seriously? Coincidence? The watch arrived in almost perfect condition and it’s beautiful. Keeps great time, but I’ve had issues with the crown. Difficult to screw down and does not always “grab” right away when winding. Very spongy and soft (the best I can describe it). I contacted them about it and received no reply. May take it to a local watchmaker one of these days. I have too many watches and I basically don’t wear it because of this nuisance problem. In the end it’s their customer service during and after the Kickstarter campaign. And they also deleted a negative comment I made on their Instagram account. Petty group that did not appreciate the support folks like me gave them during their start up.

      Yes, with 20mm lug width. I would buy one in a New York minute.
