@@SuperChonk At the end of the day I do feel I prefer BA bass and the 6 BA sets that are in mid/high end, there's some fantastic one like the supernovas. Do you think there's a big performance/quality gap between the EM10 and the Supernovas? I myself have a pair of Myer Audio SLT6 and they just give you a big smile everytime and are at the same price as the EM10 currently
Hi Chonk. Do you will review the new Dunu Davinci? I'm looking for a meaty bass (mid bass). Looking at the graph, the EM10 has more sub bass than the Davinci. The mid-bass area looks the same. But the Davinci has 2DD, so maybe the sound more bassier than the EM10. So please, if will get the Davinci, compare to EM10 =)
I do have it and its in the works. The EM10 is chonkier sounding which is quite rare these days. The Da Vinci is more similar to other recent releases.
I would not agree to that at all. Firstly, in terms of resolution, the Supermix4 is decent but it does not resolve to the same extent as the EM10. Secondly, when it comes to tone, the EM10 is delicately thick with better extension on the treble end. I know of some folks who are saying that treble extension isn't all that much on the EM10 but that is a misconception because of its thicker tonal colour people would think that treble extension isn't as great. But the thing is it does extend quite well and integrates well with the thicker tone subtly rather than jarringly. The EM10 has more bite to the sound compared to the Supermix 4 as well
No one in their right mind would ever believe that a company would publicly release 2 different products at the very same time with the very same specs and identical sound and quality but 5 times price difference for what reason? That doesn't make an inch of sense. They have totally different driver's and amount of them.
I have some confusion regarding FR graphs. Do the graphs tell most of the story for how an IEM will sound, or are the drivers inside the IEM much more important? I'm currently using the "7hz Zero 2"s, and find them to be lacking in the bass department. Would the EM10 bring that rumble and slam that is missing, or would I have to look for some IEM that actually measures as having a good amount more bass?
Graph only tells you about 30 percent of what an iem will sound like because it does not take in factors such as tonality. It essentially just tell you how loud this IEM is at a particular frequency. That’s all. Quality of the components and the implementation is more important than the FR curve. The EM10 is very slam heavy and technically sound so if you are upgrading you will be in for a good time.
@@SuperChonk I ended up buying the Simgot EM10 for a total of $346 (thanks to linsoul's pre-sale $100 coupon) . Again, thank you a bunch for help with clearing up my concerns :D
Nice review, Teddy! I hope I get the chance ro own one. For now, the SuperMix 4 is my next target.
It’s a nice set too. The super mix 4 is very smooth.
Great review as usual Mr. Chonk 😁
These iems looks really good. Also I like the different colours for different sides.
Glad you like them!
I just can’t believe how incredible of an iem at this price range the EM10 is
It is quite a unique one in its price range!

I have these. Excellent IEMs.
Its very promosing! I hope to see some prices in europe soon so we don't need to handle import tax on ali
How does it compare to Dusk, Hype 4, Pilgrim and Davinci?
Project M what the B3 couldn't be
Bravo
Thank you. We put quite a lot of effort into developing it. haha
The Supermix 4 sounds a bit thin for me with its scooped lower mids. Does the EM10 sound fuller?
EM10 is straight out full sounding

@@SuperChonk what do you mean by "chonkier"?
@@residentzero thicker note weight.
Спасибо за обзор и особенно за сранение с Tangzu Nezha. Я хотел бы узнать ещё, какие наушники более эмоциональные? Nezha или EM10 ?
I prefer the EM10 :)
I compared the graph of EM10 to 7hz Legato and they both have the exact amount of sub bass on squiglink. Is that correct?
It does have quite a substantial amount of bass!
In your opinion, is it worth upgrading from Moondrop Blessing 3?
@@slavskee different signature. If you are open to a warmer technical pair you might enjoy these.
Heard some say these are basically the same as the supermix 4. Would you agree?
Seem steep to pay the times the cost

Will very likely buy these in the upcoming linsoul sale, then ^_^

What was the book name that u shown
Probably Monocle
Can honestly say the looks/design is the main thing keeping me away from these - i wish they’d done something more inspired. To me at least.
