Houston huh? Nice I’m from Houston too and trying to get started in hotshot by the end of the year. I genuinly think people who say now is not a good time or there’s no money in it are gatekeeping and trying to keep all the money to themselves lol
Yessir! Htown 🫡 yeah the problem is ppl use their own experiences and then project them on others and think it’s not possible. Even with the market being how it is, there is money to be made if started the right way that suits the needs of the individual.
Hey man, I hope all is well with your family and your business. I’ve Been tuning in to your channel for a while now, me and my brother are in the construction business and we’re trying to get into hotshot. We’re planning on saving up some money for the necessities, we’ve already got an f550 chassis cab and etc. it’s been cool seeing you work your hustle for a while now. We hope it works out for us and if not we’ll keep moving forward regardless. May God bless you and your family and have a blessed new year. Stay safe.
One thing I will say regardless of if you’re a semi truck driver or a hotshot trucking has them ups and downs but it’s the person operating who has to make executive decisions about how to run
Good to see your out hustling, ive had a rough last two months, oil pan cracked on me, took it into a shop on Nov 17th to get it fixed, it took them till Dec 5th to fix it, brought it home, gave it a look over, oh boy! Had main harness wire drapped over front driveline rubbing, other side had wire sitting right on exhaust, not a single bolt holding front fender skirts in, and broke both side steps, probably when they lifted cab pushed up on my side steps and pushed out the rivet nuts, took it to another shop to fix it, on their dime, didn't trust them anymore. Then got back on the road, cab was banging super hard, looked under cab, both back cab mount bolts not even in, front bolts loose, and no nuts holding it the bushing, so went back into shop, they didn't align cab right, and angled all bolts in and stripped them out, all 6 had to be replaced, that was a huge bill!!! Just got it back yesterday, hitting road on Monday, pray everything goes good! Sometimes hot shotting is rough, like I tell everyone starting hot shotting, if you can't handle breakdowns, get stressed out, angry, loose focus, your done, hang it up, cause break downs will happen, and sometimes it's one after another.. it's the way our business goes, we run these trucks hard, they will break! It's how you handle the breakdowns, gotta stay focused!!
What’s up Tim, I’ve been to that place like 3 times and hate it EVERYTIME!! They load up trucks all day everyday and are so unorganized. It’s like everyone’s first day on the job 😂😂
What’s up, bro? This pet from Missouri I have been following your channel in your process. Love to set up doc. How much are your classes? I’m looking to get started around the summertime 2025 and also are you looking for drivers right now? I am a non-CDL holder, but I drive a spotter in the yard for a company.

Se puede hacer hotshot con una caretilla saludi desde R.D.🇩🇴
Do you hire drivers with a little over 1 yr with cdl for o/o
Also have over 3 yrs of non cdl hotshot experience
When you just started hotshot, what is the name of the company you leased on to?
