“And we play on prescription turf” man I loved how Keith Jackson started every game by saying what they were playing on, he is a gem 💎 that will never be ever again man I miss cfb from the 90’s best decade of cfb ever
Warren Sapp, Derrick Brooks and Warrick Dunn all ended up on the same team to win a Super Bowl. Brooks and Dunn won National Title and Super Bowl as team mates
Warrick Dunn wasn't on that 2002 Tampa SB team. He was on Tampa with Sapp and Brooks from 97-01. Went to Atlanta in 02. He just missed out on getting that SB.
Florida State had the biggest recruiting tool in the universe in the 1990's. Exposure. Rarely do I remember FSU not having the 3:30 slot every Saturday afternoon during football season (on ABC might I add).
I love the look of sadness from "The Rock" at 42:18 when FLA St puts the nail in the coffin after that last pick, you can see him on the sideline frowning with an afro..it's definatly him. I didn't even know he played for the Canes lol
I bleed Garnet & Gold but it is kind of cool seeing Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson get a sack on Charlie Ward. Thanks for posting. Gottal love that 93 Noles team.
42:00. This game was 30 years ago and I still remember that moment watching this game in my parent's living room when I was 16. It was such a sweet moment for FSU fans after the missed 2 point conversion in 1987 and 2 Wide Right FG's in 91 and 92. That season nearly killed me with all the close calls and the ND game in South Bend still haunts me.
College football games now without hearing Keith Jackson voice sounds different cause when he and Bob Grease in the booth it was a big game like how Pat Summerall and John Madden were for the NFL
In the 90's Nebraska and the 3 teams from Florida ruled College football. Colorado is a honorable mention Those 4 teams was usually playing for the title
Back in the 19990s Florida state, Miami and Florida Gators were dominant. Florida state was a fast team. Florida Gators was definitely tough !! Both of those teams had very good quarterbacks
Yep and that domination lasted into the 2000s as well. Because of Florida's growth, it took the nation by storm for a good 20 years from the 80s to the 00s. The secret is out and it will never be repeated again. To many hands are in the cookie jar now to get recruits.
Thank you and i'd like to, but probably not at this point. It's rare but i've occasionally gotten a complaint from whoever about using a vid from their channel (even though a vastly different video by the time I repost). Honestly if someone downloaded everything i've posted and then reposted as 10-15 minute edits, I wouldn't have a single problem with it. They'd be different videos and i've never looked to make cent from youtube anyway. Classic college football wouldn't bring a whole lot of cash. Pretty much just going through my collection and editing what I have now. Not sure after that.
@@steelbuck6777 What a damn shame. Ain't nobody trying to be watching 3 hours worth a game or having to keep skipping through to the next play. Some people act so petty
I wish modern angles existed before 2006. If I can't see past LBs presnap and can't even see them post snap, I can't watch a full game. I haven't a clue why plays work or not. For me football is all about the complexity of D vs O. Occasionally run heavy games can be watchable
I can't watch pass heavy games. (Every game) Where both offenses pass the ball 50 plus times. But no hitting the QB of WR! Funny you mention 2006. Because thats right around when they started making all the rule changes. That ultimately made the game unwatchable for me. It's not even a sport anymore. It's like the WWF.
I prefer old run heavy football over this pass heavy stuff they do now. Modern football with the new rules is nowhere is as exciting as old school football. The main thing that make football watchable is the hitting...something that they aren't allowed to do anymore. I don't watch football no more for those reason
17:00. Is that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Warren Sapp I see there? I do believe it is. This game was loaded with future stars and NFL Hall of Famers including Ray Lewis and Derrick Brooks.
90's CFB was so exciting with smooth Keith Jackson announcing, man I miss those days..
Me too.
Bull shit calls
Ditto

I listen to Keith say exactly what you typed the moment I look at comments and this is the exact thing I’m thinking

Good ole days with my Canes even though we lost I was happy for BOBBY BOWDEN. CLASS ACT 💯. HATS OFF 🙏
This rivalry was incredible back then and this was the "Golden Age" of it.

That’s so crazy….i never knew that and I’m 34 haha

Keith Jackson is the best play by play announcer. He’s truly missed. He was the best! 🙏🏼❤️

I have replayed this game on NCAA14 so many times. Even as a Texas fan this was a classic match up
Your subscribers really appreciate these videos!
Will definitely show my age, but I too miss the voice of Keith Jackson . Pure butter 🧈. 🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹

Gus Johnson is taking up the mantle as best announcer.
Love that guy.
@danielmeeker5719 Plus Chris Fowler on ESPN Saturday night college football
Thanks again for posting this video.

Those 4 teams was usually playing for the title
Oklahoma and Michigan
Ohio State could've been in that mix too if they didn't choke so much against Michigan smh
@@NathanDubose OU was dominant in the 80's, along with UM. Not so much in the 90's.
Thanks for taking the time to do this!
Whoaaaaaa Nellie! Its the Too Live Crew!
The crowd on that Jackson TD run was insane.
42:18 that look on The Rock's face said it all. GO NOLES!! 🏹 🖐️👋🖐️👋🖐️👋🏹
25:15 with Dwyane The Rock Johnson getting a sack. Haha

Bobby best team ever and my favorites team by far .
17:02 The Rock
42:45 Scott Bentley with the casual 80-yard touchback
Can we please get the 1994 game!!!
The 90 game too.
I can't believe the Seminoles lost 3 times to Miami on game winning field goal misses.
At 42 minutes best part of the game I felt when he said n the game is over
Back then the referee called so many calls on us but it did not help 😅😅🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹💯❤️ my Noles
Are u taking requests still or no??? BTW miss your videos

1 NATION UNDER GOD IN THE LAND OF FLORIDA STATE FOOTBALL!!!! GO NOLES!!!!
25:10...Charlie Ward, DO YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN?!
17:00 The Rock smelling what Ward cooking...looking exhausted asf
25:10 The People’s Champ booked Charlie Ward’s room at the Smackdown Hotel.
The Heisman winner looked like a total jabroni on that play.

FSU prevails 28-10.
We beat that ass😂
No dominance for Miami anymore
We had to beat the refs to back then and the cains wow
Miami won nothing since leaving the big east
Nothing!
Definitely sucked for fsu will the wide rights but fsu did win a national title off of a missed fg. What goes around comes around
Bowden beat his nemesis only to lose to ND five weeks later which almost scrubbed FSU's chance at the national championship.
Almost
