- Shere - a relaxing walk through the Surrey Hills in 4k.
At last, a sunny day in England and a gap in my pro video schedule aligned, and I got to go for a walk in the lovely Surrey Hills AONB (area of outstanding natural beauty)... and lived to tell the tale.
I say that because as someone with anaphylaxis - I'm allergic to wasps and bees - it was a bit of a shock, at 12 minutes into the video, to realise I was walking through a swarming of bees or wasps!
Anyhow, Shere is a village in the Guildford district of Surrey, England 4.8 miles (7.7 km) east south-east of Guildford and 5.4 miles (8.7 km) west of Dorking, centrally bypassed by the A25.
This very (southern) English village has charming buildings, a stream with ducks, a small museum, a tearoom, two pubs, The White Horse and The William Bray, and a 12th century church. If peace is what you want, you will find it in the English countryside.
Shere is popular with walkers and film makers - scenes in Bridget Jones, The Edge of Reason and The Holiday were filmed here.

Boring.All you can hear are footsteps, breathing, cars and jets..not very peaceful.
Yikes! This is a swarm of wasps or bees I’m walking through… as I suffer from anaphylaxis (allergy to wasps and bees), which can be fatal, this was a scary moment 😅 11:58

Surrey itu kampungnya "harry potter" kan?
Hi! Surrey is a county ( an area including towns and villages ) in south east England - apparently Harry's home is Godric's Hollow - a fictional village, where Lily and James Potter lived with their young son Harry, located in the West Country of England (counties in the west include Devon, Gloucestershire and more)
@@englishwalksSorry. I mean the place where harry grew up. The home of harry's aunt petunia and her husband, vernon dursley.
@@memyr6714 It is in reality in Berkshire, not Surrey : The three-bedroom suburban cul-de-sac house featured as 4 Privet Drive, Surrey, home of the boy wizard's dreadful aunt and uncle, the Dursleys. But it is, in fact, 12 Picket Post Close in Bracknell, Berkshire.
