Several of Dr. Bolin's videos have had the sound missing. It is a problem with youtube. He has replaced one video so far and is working on the others. Some people have had success using a different browser.
Dr. Bolin your videos are great. I have a quick question, with a patient that is a quadriplegic (quad), I understand it is not uncommon for the patient to have a heart rate of less than 60bps with a normal EKG.Is this true? I've seen a heart rate of 49 bps with normal EKG in a 60 yo qaud and the bps elevate upon eating. Patient said she has a increased urine output and excess gas, bloating and complains of feeling dehydrated but, drinks a lot of fluids and also no syncope. I'm really worried on the bradycardia but, I'm told it's normal in quads to have a different heart rate. I thought possible potassium problem, hyperkalemia. Am I totally looking at this wrong?
the video has no sound :( !! clearly all the old comments had no such problem. but i the new comments complain of the same thing to so am not the only one
I'm in the process of addressing the videos that are affected by this glitch. In the meantime, turn on the closed captioned feature on the video and it should show what I'm saying.
Dr. Paul, you are the BEST!!!!!!
Excellent lectures, many thanks Dr. Bolin!
