Monday, October 3, 2022. Cardiology: Premature Contractions and Excitations (Pathology of The Heart's Conduction System/Mechanism). 1) Premature Ventricular Contractions (PVCs) are Isolated Episodic His-Purkinje-triggered Abnormal Heart Ventricle Contractions. Dx: EKG shows Sudden High Amplitude Ventricular Contractions (QRS Wave Complexes) which are followed by a Sinus Rhythm/Activity (P Wave and T Wave). This Finding Can be Normal and Abnormal if Status Post Myocardial Infarction (MI) which will have 1) symptoms of Cardiac Output Insufficiency and 2) Hemodynamic Instability (Hypotension and/or Syncope (LOC); Aetiology: 1) Digoxin Toxicity; 2) Complication of MI, and 3) Normal Activity; Dx: Laboratory Anomalies, 2) Clinical Presentation and Signs/Symptom Manifestation, 3) Review of Medication. can occasionall pvc in normal heart lead to another types of pvcs? please help me
