I think the christmas sweater is sooo cool!! I remember when I was studying abroad in the US and was going to an ugly christmas sweater party I obviously didn‘t bring one when I first came so I thrifted a sequin poinsettia cardigan/ blazer and it was sooo ugly and tacky you could say it was pretty fashionable and everybody loved it!
My 4th grade teacher wore vests with fun things on them everyday. She had holiday sweaters/vests as well and we always looked forward to seeing what she'd wear.

I adore the baby clothes, esp the scalloped edging. My fav is the plaid crawler...love them all. I'm a vintage clothes geek so I love the gingerbread holiday sweater. That sweater does not fall into the "ugly" sweater category to me...it will be adorable in a classroom setting especially.
At our school we are bringing back the Christmas sweaters...We get into it totally and try to do and wear a different one everyday.....the louder the item the better...lol. We also do ugly sweater contests etc. You could certainly get teachers to join in I bet. It is fun. Actually I love the dress with the ruffle .....I actually kind of like the pilling on it. As far as the comments about you buying a few maternity items etc. etc. Do whatever makes you happy in life. I am 60 and now that I am older I look at things differently in that you should do what makes you happy.Love your videos.

I dig that Christmas sweater! And I totally would have bought that COS dress (you actually don’t pronounce the letters separately, but as one word) just because it’a COS! COS is not cheap and if you end up not wearing it you can always resell it for a nice profit!

You (the teachers)get a sweater/vest and enter it in the contest (1 per teacher) and then the students vote for the one they think is the best. They don't have to vote for THEIR teacher. Your gray dress that your mom objected to could work with a loose belt and a thin sleeveless vest and leggings. Paired with a necklace and earrings and boots you could change it to semi dressy or just a nice scarf.
The better thrift stores in the Rochester area are about 30-45min away from me so I'm trying to buy more from them. I love the baby clothes. So adorable!
The little plaid overalls can be layard also w a little knit polo shirt and sweater or coat if real cold. All cute baby clothes, I just love babies. U r an old fasion girl, theirs nothing wrong with that. I say to each his or her own style. Enjoy your week off. You teachers have a hard job. My grandson is graduating from High school with honors this spring. I am so excited to go to his graduation. My daughter graduated with honors. I worked hard with my children and my daughter especially had worked hard with hers. I wish all parents worked with their kids, it would make teachers work so much easier. It's not all up to the teachers to turn out good students. That saying it's takes a village, is true.

There’s an electric fabric defuzzer you can get at Walgreens that does wonders for piling.
