Thus is outstanding !! I’m making this for my sewing room TODAY ! I have sewing notions ( snaps , buttons , clips , pins , bobbins , patches , binding , scraps , measuring tapes , elastics , the list goes on and on …) will be a terrific help to have them organized and fingertip accessible ! Thank you for posting this !!!
Very clever! I calculated this to cost about $40 if you are in a state that charges sales tax. This number is if each component cost $1.25. It’s not about the cost, it’s about making it yourself and modifying it for your own personal needs. I would use more zip ties and maybe some wood or foam board for added stability, and spray paint the drying racks white to match. Overall, I think this is a great solution for someone who uses a lot of pens, markers, brushes, etc! 😊
Also I would had gotten several of the Tall Wooden Signs; 2 to 4 packs of the Jenga game set, and several packs of the wooden paint stirring sticks. Oh and Several of the project poster boards. I would have taken anything off of the signs that could come off, RePainted by applying 2 or more coats of paint. Than glueing the Jenga pieces to the wooden paint stirring sticks. Glueing the Tall Wooden Signs to one side of the poster board and the wooden stirring sticks to the other side. ~~~~~~ This Way the Frame is More Sturdier. ------------} I would of course lined up the Jenga pieces to the baskets so the baskets side in and out on the Jenga pieces. .......... You could also put a smaller sign inside the frame to help with support of the baskets.
Use the extra zip tie peices in your glue gun. It works very well. Believe me i am always finding ways to not leave out any parts of materials in my crafts. ❤
I looked up 6 tier desk organizers and they will set you back anywhere from 20-60 usd . AND they don’t have the smaller individual dividers.. PLUS LIKE YOU SAID: ITS FUN TO MAKE THINGS YOURSELF 👍🏽
This is a wonderful idea. Just brainstorming, possibly leave the big white trays out completely. Use more baking racks for each level and add foam board on top of each to make it a bit more sturdy. Adding yard sticks or dowels on the sides might also improve the sturdiness. I just found your page today and subscribed. I appreciate the way you welcome comments and ideas. We're all in this to learn together. Yes, you can go to the store and buy something premaid, but it's fun and satisfying to use something you made yourself. It also allows for "recycling" the pieces if you no longer need the original item you made.
I absolutely love what you did here!! I wish I had your creativity. I was so creative when I was a lot younger but life with it's ups & downs quashed alot of it. I'm in my 60's now and have been starting to get my creativity somewhat back. I love using nature for crafts. Especially now during the autumn season!! This organizer is super awesome and I will give it a go!! Thank you so very much for sharing!! I Just love it!!
👋 Happy Monday! Would blank paper fit in one of the bottom trays, maybe coloring books if it's big enough also. Different shapes of scissors in another, glue sticks, different kinds of things to trace shapes, cookie cutters in another tray. Barbie dolls, and outfits, accessories. Jewelry. Small plastic toys figurines, Match box car's, GIJoe boy dolls. Ooo Make up! Crafts. Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful week.
It's my first time on your channel. I love this organizer. I would make it and use it for my washi tapes, small stamps, small scrap papers and paints. The possibilities are endless. Thank you for sharing your creativity.
That was really fun to see! Very very cool I’d love to see this organizer spray painted. But even as is it’s very cool! I think you’re a very creative person!
I think this is your best one. I would even take it a step further and cover the baskets plus the outside wire racks. You could spray paint those. Love the idea. Keep doing what you do and what you love!
That is great ! I could make some for my craft room to hold lace, elastic, small pieces of fabric and so much more. You made it look so easy, I think. I have to try it. Thanks for sharing. Hugs to the little four legged Sweety. I love all dogs and she is sweet.❤
Good and cheap craft organizer. If I made one, I'd use clear bins so that I can see everything that's in the bin instead of writing what's in there, but not seeing anything. Sometimes it's good to keep craft supplies in sight, especially if all the colors and supplies attract and invite you to craft.
First time on your channel, new subscriber. This is such a great idea. I’d probably put loose scrapbook paper, paints, extra brushes, glue sticks, paint markers, pencils, scissors, tools(pliers, wire snips, etc). Thanks for sharing your talents & creativity. Pip is adorable and she obviously adores you🐾♥️
Awww Pip 🥰🥰🥰she always brings me a smile. Very nice organization, that could be so versatile!!! It’s really nice that you try so many different ideas, I’m sure each one is just perfect for someone watching 🧡🖤🧡
Wow! What a clever idea,I'll have to make 1 of these organizers for my craftroom. You always come up with some neat ideas. That green dress looks good on you.😊❤
What a cool idea!! I would love to use this to hold the various items/tools that I use for finishing my Cross stitch projects. You know things like beads, feathers, trims, different kinds of glue, screws and clips for attaching hangers to projects, etc.
Hello Kieran and adorable Pip, I love it it can be used for so many things, I would use it in the kitchen for spices, keurig cups on the sides put hooks to hang the Utensils and more ❤ thank you so much for sharing 😊
I love it too❤❤ Great job!! Very creative!! I would definitely use it. Probably for the same things. Crayons, colored pencils and markers. If I was leaving it on my desk, I might use it for things that I use every day, such as… adhesive‘s scissors, pens, special tools and erasers ect…
Wasn't sure where you were going or if it would work, but . . . Wow! Just wow! I have ideas, but not sure how to execute them. This gives me hope! Thanks 😃😃
Oh my gosh! This is SO neat. I can think of some really interesting ways to decorate it as well! I think I'm going to try this. :D Thank you for this information. --Vyvyan
I really love this idea. I'm a paper crafter and my supplies are heavy. Do you think it will hold very much weight? This is just a thought or an idea but in the future maybe you could demonstrate these great organizers holding different types of supplies. Love ya! Thanks for such creativity!
I really like that. I am glad that you enjoy making the organizers because I for one enjoy watching you make them. I will have to make a couple of these for my grandbabies playroom at my house. They have ALOT of things that I could organize for them and me😂 in their playroom.
@carolynbrown4112 cardboard would work, but you'd have to paint it or cover with contact paper. Using foam board, you could choose from several colors.
Great project and Pip is adorable. Thanks for sharing this.

I love it!❤❤❤ You can hang s hooks on the side for your scissors and tape. ❤❤❤
That’s a great idea! Thank you!
love that idea
Cool.
I could use one for Christmas?
I love it! For my own use I'd put the racks in between the bins so they can slide in and out easily. Great idea! Thank you 😊

40.00 you can buy an organizer stand that looks better
@@specialk8927And doesn’t take as long to put together and maybe more sturdy?

I love her. She’s adorable. I wish I could pet her God bless her and you too!❤❤
I love the way you can look at these random items, attach them together and make amazing things!!❤
OMG Pip is ADORABLE!!!!! Just lost my 19 year old doxies a week ago. Miss her so. Love on Pip every single day!
Use the extra zip tie peices in your glue gun. It works very well. Believe me i am always finding ways to not leave out any parts of materials in my crafts. ❤
Can you explain a bit? I'm not grasping how you use zip ties in a glue gun. Do you melt them using the tip or feed them like glue sticks??
I need one of those for Christmas?
Pip is so cute! Nice project!

First of all, Pip is adorable! Second, I love this organizer! I will be making several with three bins and putting them in my linen closet!

So much nicer and cleaner than most premade organizers. I love that you decide what trays to use
Well done. TFS.
Thank you for sharing that was pretty cool. You done a great job.
I think I would build the main structure with cardboard and contact paper, but I love this idea! I can't get enough organizers.
Thank you! Cardboard is a great idea. I'll have to try that in the future!
What a cool organizer. I’m a retired teacher and this would have worked so well in my classroom for art supplies. You are amazing.
Use your cut out pieces from baskets to spots the seams on side double up and tons zip ties, top and bottom of side seam🙂 awesome idwa!!
That was really fun to see! Very very cool I’d love to see this organizer spray painted. But even as is it’s very cool! I think you’re a very creative person!

I love it is looks so functional. I would use it for my alcohol markers. Thank you💕💕
Thank you! I have not heard of alcohol markers. What are they used for?
This is a great idea! I would use it to hold my taller molds and my inks, mica powder, and glitter for resin crafting.
Thank you!

I would use it as part of my wrapping station with ribbons and tape sheets of wrapping paper etc.
you can use the leftover zip tie clippings as shims when you need to fill in a little space on something.

Nice sewing room.
So clever!! I love it!
I like the idea. For me I would have to get something more sturdy for the sides.
Wow this is so creative! Good job!

Foamboard would be sturdier than the baking racks. Use hot glue and duct tape (white) for reinforcement.
@susansweat---Foamboard is a great idea!.... But better yet, recycled cardboard boxes which are free!!
@carolynbrown4112 cardboard would work, but you'd have to paint it or cover with contact paper. Using foam board, you could choose from several colors.
