Japan: Komi can't communicate
Komi: hold my Zil Zyol
Of course, the Komi have difficulty communicating, 16 cases in the language...
when did Japan say that tough

@@villagerikanava1898 it's the name of an animated show in Japan. Komi is the name of the main character and has the same name as this Finno-Ugric language by chance.
Komi songs and language are so beautiful
I made a poetic translation of the song into English:
‘Twas a snowy evening once when I was walkin’ down the park
I saw a woman, with fire in her hair, giving fire to my heart
It was indeed love at first sight as we seemed to get along
In a foreign language were her words, as nothing seemed to be wrong
Zhil-zhyol; that’s how life goes
Zhil-zhyol; ‘tis the world
Zhili-zhyoli-zhili-zhyoli, I guess that’s life
Today is glorious, tomorrow’s strife!
She sang to me about what she’s been through in her horrid life of pain
And how she thought for all her life that she’d be in love’s embrace
With her, I see the golden forests, summer ponds, and winter cold
In her embrace, I could only think about her words: zhil and zhyol!
Zhil-zhyol; that’s how life goes
Zhil-zhyol; ‘tis the world
Zhili-zhyoli-zhili-zhyoli, I guess that’s life
Today is glorious, tomorrow’s strife!
But all things must come to an end, as she was not faithful to me
In her embrace, another man whom she was planning to deceive
So I told him of her witch-like magic; of the charm of Persephone
He told me that her words were reversed, only zhyol and zhi!
wow this is impressive

russia/komi republic зиль зёль кӧнкӧ кылӧ
Is Komi like one of Russia's Republic? Or oblasts?
the komi people belong to one of russia's republics, they speak a finnic language
It's a republic because it represents special nationality. Oblasts are populated mostly with Russians
@@Maxim_Kuzin yeah because Stalin put russian people there. In 1926 russians were 6.6% of Komi oblast. That's not your land
@@antoniopentrella3689 ok, and what do you suggest? Giving independence to a region completely surrounded by Russia with a Russian-majority population and infrastructure based on communications with other regions of Russia? Or what?
Just for your information, in most Russian republics (including Komi) EVERY school in the region MUST teach the native language. So, minority peoples of Russia have more rights than native Americans in the US and Occitans in France.
Today, Russians and Komi live together in friendship, a lot of Russian songs are translated into Komi and there is completely no hatred both inside and outside the region.
So, such comments are just a dirty hate without understanding what is really going on in Russia from people who have never been in Russian republics
@@worldvex they speak a permic language
What to the lyrics mean in English?
turn on captions for english :)
What is Zil Zyol?
it doesn't really have a meaning. it's really hard to translate, so think of it as a saying.

Что это "ягыс" на коми?
Ну если тупо перевести на русский то примерно так- течет ручей бежит ручей и я ничья и ты ничей ну и дальше как у Бабкиной.
