Loved his fans and truly thought about those impressionable young people. He is my adult idol as well. Love he went onto to live a fulfilling life and contributing to the world. Ah, this will seem dramatic but here goes. I had a very unhappy family life. Mom was ill all the time. The energy in our home was so sad and stressful. Like all the teen girls I had a crush on Bobby. There was something about how good that felt that just kept me believing that there could be good, happiness, sometime. I got a very small reply from him from a fan mail. It truly gave me so much joy. I always loved his good guy life and it was a joy to come across this interveiw and find that was how he stayed. That he skipped all the drug foolishness of other musicians. So appreciate this interveiw. 67 in Seattle. And yes, ultimate dream was to move to Seattle from the show.

LPs were pricey for me back in the day, but it was worth extra chores to earn enough to get his album. Geez, I'm 61 & smiling ear to ear listening to this (& still knowing all the lyrics - LOL). What a treat.

What a lovely couple. True love. She's got it good now. No more poverty a husband that truly loves her. Even cooks cleans and does dishes. If there's another guy like this I'd love to have him.
