Bobby Sherman turned eighty years old today! We watched the show every week. I was ten in 1969 - Brides and Room 222 were must watch for a lot of families.
@@Bercyable I also had a major crush on Karen! Somebody finally uploaded what looks like every episode of Room 222 to UA-cam. I've been watching, lots of great memories.

My family and I really enjoyed this show hated to see it canceled. The Bolt brothers were always involved in something going on in Seattle or they were always busy trying to save their mountain where they were harvesting timber to sell to Stemple, who was always trying to get their mountain in any underhanded way.
I was one of those who watched the show in Seattle. I was 5--6, and watched it with my mother and older brother, and we all loved it. For years after the show left the air, local radio stations continued to play Como's rcording of "Seattle" ( I don't know if they still do). It would be the perfect time for a roboot of this wonderful, fact-based show.

I was between seven and nine when this show ran, and its theme-song is (pleasantly) a permanent part of my musical memory. Anyway, at Columbia Ranch, they used "the pond" at the NE corner or the acreage for filming. Sometime in the late '60's, they had some kind of fair on the property and a fire started and burned out much of that corner. A devlopment company had wanted that corner (facing Verdugo & Hollywood Way) and ended up buying it from Columbia. Ironically, I ended up working at the Alpha Beta that was built on the spot near where my own grandfather had worked as a property manager from the very beginning until 1960. Sadly two of the main cast members - Bridget Hanley and Robert Brown have died not that long ago. Hanley in late 2021 and Brown in September. Some friends and I were watching the pilot episode of the show and we were cracking up at the "1800s eastern women" because it - like Gunsmoke, Bonanza and a few other westerns of the era made it look like Carnaby Street! Hahaha!
Sadly only two of the main stars of HCTB are still alive. Bobby Sherman and David Soul. Robert Brown /96/ and Susan Tolsky /79/ both died 2022 (as mention). Dec 15th, 2021; Bridget Hanley died of Alzheimer’s at 80 years old. Back in 2019; Mitzi Hoag who played Miss Essie /86/ died Feb 26th, 2019. Bo Svenson /81/ who played Big Suede and became Miss Essie husband is still alive as of 2/11/23. We lost Capt Clancy (Henry Beckman) /86/ June 17th , 2008. Mark Lenard -Aaron Stemple- died Nov 22nd, 1996 @ 72. Joan Blondell was by far the oldest on the show (born 8/30/06) died on Christmas Day in 1979, she was 73. While paired with Clancy (Henry Beckman), she actually was 15 years older; she born in 1906 and he 1921. I see by the many tributes to show; many here (like me) probably thought of the show Brides characters as “relatives” or friends. The actors/actresses, the storyline(s) and the music /Hugo Montenegro/ was top notch. I read some on the show and the cast got along very well and enjoyed working together - AND IT SHOWED.
Typical network suits doing what they do best: screw up a sure thing. "You know we got a real winner here so let's change the format and move it to Friday's where our core audience is not at home".
I was 2 years old when this show came out. I remember watching it. Had a crazy crush on Bobby Sherman. When I was a little older I would beg my mom to buy the cereal the had the cut out record of one of Bobby’s songs. She let me play it on our mid century media center. Good times!
@@FactsVerse I was too little and can’t remember specific episodes, but remember how the show made me feel so happy and of course how cute Bobby Sherman was.
Bobby was on Boxes of POST Raisin Bran ! They also had the Archies on HoneyComb and Sugar Crisp . Sugar Crisp also had The Sugar Bears. On Puffa Puffs Rice - they had The Monkees. (I collect old cereal boxes -- so I know all this !) . Also LOVE Quisp and Quake !
Absolutely, we feel the same way! Thank you for sharing your sentiments and for watching our content. What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
@@harperstacey9604 oh he appeared in many tv shows. One of my favorites was an episode of "Colombo" "Playback" with Oskar Werner, Jena Rowlands and Martha Scott.
I can't remember any episodes, but I loved that show when it was on the air over 50 years ago. Bobby Sherman was a pop star at the time and I liked his singing.
@@FactsVerse Around 1972, my family and I went to the wax museum in Seattle, and there was a display of the three main ladies in the show, standing on their front porch. Next to it was a photo of Seattle from the time the real Mercer girls lived in town...and there was the real house they lived in. The show used an EXACT REPLICA of it.
the amazing thing is how many people remember the show even today and it finds a new audience once people see it, so sorry the cast of the show doesn't know this, they would be very pleased I am sure, they are all missed
I watched HCTBS all the time and I'm still watching it on my laptop and tablet. They don't show it anymore , too bad. My family also used to watch it even though they never saw it before because they weren't born yet but they did like when they first watched it. I loved Jeremy and Candy together but I kept waiting for them to marry, I think everybody did. My favorite episode was Jeremy stopped stuttering, that's just one of my favorite ones, in reality I loved them all.
That was a very good one, it all came down to having faith in himself. It was the one with the floods and Mervin the Magnificent came to town and stopped the rain, until he didn’t.
I was one of those prepubescent girls in love with Bobby Sherman who adored the show. Until Donny Osmond came along and stole my 13 year old heart away. But Bobby still has his own claim on a corner of that heart too. I wanted to be Bridget Hanley. I thought she was so lovely. Wonderful memories!
Loved this show, and still do. In the late 90's, I ran the HCTB Fan Club. I also became friends with most of the cast. Of the cast, only Bobby Sherman and Bo Svenson, and the two kids Eric Chase and Patti Cohoon, are still alive today, ❤❤❤❤
I couldn’t understand the cancellation back then. I don’t remember the shift from comedy to action. I was part of the babysitting crowd on Friday nights. This is what we watched! As teenaged girls we didn’t get sent the little Nielsen ratings books to fill out. However, many of us signed petitions to keep it on the air! I’ve never seen a rerun and don’t really want to do that my idealized memories to be broken. However, I did see Bobby Sherman and David Soul in concert! Still have my 45’s and albums! Those I cherish!
Well said, we strongly concur! Thank you for watching our content and for sharing your thoughts. Which episode of the show is the most memorable for you?
Hi. I don’t really have a most memorable one,but I especially like the scene where Josh and Jeremy sing the Christmas song. In fact I’m gonna watch it right now.
@@gvoisinetI just watched that show "A Christmas Place" and I admit that I must have missed it when I was young. It was a very touching story, I'm glad I watched it.
Yes it ran from the Fall of ‘68 to the Summer ‘70, two seasons. I wrote the Network as did so many others when it was canceled. The change in time slot on a Fri night caused a drop in ratings. I thought some of the second years scripts weren’t as good as the first.
My favorite memory from the show was when Jason Bolt gave an educated woman his spiel about Seattle. When he mentioned the low amount of annual rainfall, she pointed out Seattle was a mud hole and gave the average number of days out of the year it has rain.
Lived in Seattle when this first aired and I was around 9 years old. I just remember my dad walking through the TV room laughing when he heard the song "the bluest skies..." as we usually saw rain out our windows. But yes, when it wasn't raining, one sure appreciated that blue sky. It was a fun show and great family entertainment.
I guess I watched the first rerun because I saw it when we came back from Okinawa in 1971-1972 & 1972-1973 when we lived in Spokane Washington. I was 12-14. Bobby Sherman was my first crush.
I watched HERE COME THE BRIDES re-runs on Los Angeles television as a kid, just when Bobby Sherman's teen idol popularity peaked. Although based on a part of American history HERE COME THE BRIDES, just like the musical SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS, was also inspired by the Roman legend of "the capture of the Sabine women"; a situation of too many bachelors and not enough females to go around.
I was about 11 when this first aired and I watched it regularly. Had a crush on Candy Pruitt, what a beautiful bride. I noticed the change in the amount from season 1 to 2 as the show became more serious, a change I was not wild about. But, I loved the change to Friday nights, which was apparently part of it's death nail. Love American Style followed it, which I also liked a lot. Also really liked the musical theme and listen to it on youtube occasionally.
I can't remember if all the characters had theme music but I can still recall the bittersweet tune they played whenever Essie the School teacher was in a scene. Can't find it on UA-cam though. Yeah my sisters had a crush on Bobby and David also.
>Clancy to crook>"His Bosphorus is broken! Crook>>Is that bad?>Clancy "There's nothing left but to call for a priest. Go to town and get Father Jason!" Or the episode where the Brides pull a Lysistrata on the boys to stop the brawling with Stemple's men. One of the loggers climbs a ladder outside one of the Dormitory window and calls one of the girls. Biddy opens the shutters and says" If only you'd called the right name...mine!" as she shoves his ladder over.😆
Was running through some older shows who's theme songs I remembered and happened on to your video. I loved the show, even if I was pretty young. Never knew the situation with it. I remember reading the ST novel Ishmael, and being gobsmacked as I realized the tie in! Now I need to find out where the show is showing nowadays so I can enjoy it again.
10 the show is set shortly after the civil war, as was mentioned in the pilot; 2) the Bolt brothers owned a lumber company and aaron Stempel owned the lumber mill; 3) Mark Lenard played Sarek before being cast in HCTB; 4) the show was canceled by Leonard Goldberg (of Spelling/Goldberg Productions) when he became head of ABC and canceled many of his predecessor''s shows. While the show had gone down in ratings and was on the bubble, pre-production had begun on a third season. The source for most of my information ismy friend the late Joanie Winston, a former executive at ABC at the time. Interestingly enough, Joanie and her friends ran the first Star Trek cons and wrote 2 books about Star Trek - Star Trek Lives and The Making of a Star Trek Convention
I watched it faithfully when it originally aired, and loved it. Surprisingly, I didn't find myself enjoying it as much when I finally got to see it again years later....
You missed two other Star Trek connection: Robert Brown guest stared in the Star Trek episode, “The Alternative Factor.” and Kathryn Hayes from “A Kiss For Just So” appeared in the Star Trek episode “The Empath”
Thanks to this show, anyone who had never been to Seattle actually believed Seattle was on the coast. No, it is on Puget Sound, not the Pacific Ocean!!! 😖😵💫🥴
The "Bobby Sherman, my butt" comment made me laugh out loud (or 'lol' as youngsters would type)! I love honesty and a good reaction and you ladies are wonderful at both, thankyou. The classic example of a handsome man vs a pretty boy (no disrespect intended). Also, as a general comment, it's always great to see women who are great actresses (does that word still exist?) as well as being pretty and HCTB had more than it's fair share of them.
Joan Blondell fan. That they would take a powerful winning show, tamper with its basic appeal and then show it at the worst time of the week..... only TV producers could sink into such idiocy.
I loved Here Comes the Brides when it initially aired. I loved again when GetTV aired it on the weekends. Was very very disappointed and sad when Get TV took it off their station.
@@FactsVerse The pilot was terrific and was like watching the play “7 brides for 7 brothers” and the orchestration of Hugo Montenegro was excellent and fit the show like a glove! The writing and character development kept the show in the top ten all season!
I just checked Merk Lenard in IMDB... 2 roles in Star Trek TOS: Journey to Babel (1967) ... Sarek Balance of Terror (1966) ... Romulan Commander Aaron Stempel in Here Come the Brides All 52 episodes (1968-70)
I see Joan Blondell was in this series. I did not know she had been a bigger star earlier in the 1930's in the movies. I liked this series but I was really little and rarely stayed up to see it because I think it wasn't on until 10 pm.
Loved it. The bit I remember is the long fist fight which was the "most violent" bit of TV after the debts of Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luthor King. I was surprised they didn't mention appearance of Brown on Star Trek.
I really enjoyed this series, although it's odd to think of this as taking place in the 1890's instead of the late 1860's. The women's clothes and hats seem based on styles of the late 1860's - early 1870's. One episode featured the famed singer Jenny Lynd who died in 1887, before the supposed 1890's time-frame. Anyway, let's suspend our disbelief and enjoy the series lol. Even as a kid I saw Joan Blondell in movies from the 30's, 40's & 50's so I enjoyed seeing her in this series.
Also, in the first episode Lottie says to Jason something like "There's been a war Jason, and lots of decent ladies are looking for husbands". Thanks for spotting that 1867 ad and confirming what I've believed all along.
I was just a kid, about to experience adolescence, when Here Comes The Brides was broadcast, and I first discovered it in summer reruns in 1969. If memory serves correctly, there was a softening of Mark Lenard's character, Aaron Stemple, but I cannot remember which of the brides became his sweetheart. Can anyone help me with this lapse of memory?
There was an episode in the 2nd season, Another Game in Town, where Aaron Stempel falls for a con woman running a "dance hall emporium", Patricia Vanderhoff. Other than that he was occasionally paired with Biddie, not that she was really his sweetheart, and there was mention of him dating other brides early on.
I watched it faithfully when I was very young. I became a lifelong Joan Blondell fan because of it. My sister's infatuation with Bobby Sherman was insufferable.
20 years ago I worked with Jungian therapist (Kris)tina Holland, who played a bride in at least 2 episodes. I was watching an episode on UA-cam and spotted an oddly familiar face. She also had regular role as Bill Bixby's personal assistant on The Courtship of Eddie's Father. I knew none of this until I had been seeing her for months. She seemed a bit shy and embarrassed about telling me about her acting career, I'll leave it up to you to figure out why.
As much as the girls love Bobby Sherman, I was nuts over Bridget Hanley (I was about 7). Maybe my first crush though I didn’t realize what it was. Imagine my surprise when in 1990 I saw her in a small role in the latest version of Columbo. And she looked wonderful.
So, the "Because of this" was nothing more than network time slot shuffling? They should have left well enough alone. I was 5 or 6 When HCTB started. Naturally, I crushed on Bobby Sherman - he was so cute and about my height. Do you guys remember when he guest-starred on the Partridge Family? Purple shirt, leather choker...I giggled like an 8-year-old.
The actors didn’t know the show was being cancelled. They found out by word of mouth through the other actors. How horrible is that? I don’t believe the writers were aware of it either. They just left the series hanging in the end. Terrible way to end.
I loved watching the show as a child growing up in Philadelphia. My favorite was David Soul, RIP. I still sing the theme song whenever I see a particularly blue sky!
I wish you had mentioned the name of the actor who played Captain Clancy. I have been trying to remember his name for quite some time, but nobody ever mentions him. I remember watching the series in afterschool reruns.
I'm 69 so Star Trek in the 60s and I was pretty young and Star Trek when it came back as there was a lot of negativity when it was canceled as well wait both my favorite shows. My sister and I and friends loved Bobby Sherman we just thought it was weird that the main girl character wasn't with Jason bolt Bobby Sherman looks too young and boyish for her. We all thought that. But also very interesting about the Star Trek commonalities I think besides myself no one ever knew that in fact I didn't even recognize that stimpel was Spock's father until watching this. This was a great review of the series
ACTUALLY Star Trek was filmed in the early 60's and Here come the Brides came out in the late 60's I just looked them both up and their years overlap a little. Star Trek 1966-1969 and Here Come the Bride's 1968-1970
Never heard of this show before in my life. Perhaps I’ll check it out sometime. I sincerely hope that thing about the lords and ladies was a joke because it had me cracking up.
Still watching my way through them, but the one that stuck in my mind was the one where Aaron fell in love with the con woman and got shot in end saving her from her bad cohort.
I own the second season on DVD. The first season is REALLY expensive, so maybe one day someone will gift me one! Love the cast but didn't care much for the changes in the second season.

For some strange reason, the name Aaron Stemple got a line thru it,
The actress who played Biddy Susan Tolsky also died last year.
Typical network suits doing what they do best: screw up a sure thing. "You know we got a real winner here so let's change the format and move it to Friday's where our core audience is not at home".
they must have secretly HATED the show and wanted to kill it as they essentially used the same method that killed Star Trek, lol!
Robert Brown and David Soul also guest starred on Star Trek episodes.
Fun stuff, thank you for sharing this information. What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
David soul was married to Bobby Sherman's ex-wife, Patti. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
I was 2 years old when this show came out. I remember watching it. Had a crazy crush on Bobby Sherman. When I was a little older I would beg my mom to buy the cereal the had the cut out record of one of Bobby’s songs. She let me play it on our mid century media center. Good times!
Us too! Thank you so much for bringing back memories. Which episode of the show appealed to you the most?
@@FactsVerse I was too little and can’t remember specific episodes, but remember how the show made me feel so happy and of course how cute Bobby Sherman was.
Bobby was on Boxes of POST Raisin Bran ! They also had the Archies on HoneyComb and Sugar Crisp . Sugar Crisp also had The Sugar Bears. On Puffa Puffs Rice - they had The Monkees. (I collect old cereal boxes -- so I know all this !) . Also LOVE Quisp and Quake !
So sad Robert Brown died recently. A great under appreciated actor.
Absolutely, we feel the same way! Thank you for sharing your sentiments and for watching our content. What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
Robert Brown appeared on an episode of Star Trek, the original series. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
@@harperstacey9604 oh he appeared in many tv shows. One of my favorites was an episode of "Colombo" "Playback" with Oskar Werner, Jena Rowlands and Martha Scott.
In his 90s
Only Bobby Sherman and David Soul survive.
I can't remember any episodes, but I loved that show when it was on the air over 50 years ago. Bobby Sherman was a pop star at the time and I liked his singing.
While my sister was the David Cassidy fan, I had the Bobby Sherman records , still do
No worries, we understand. If we may ask, what is your all-time favorite show?
My girlfriend. made me go out and buy her the "Easy come easy go" '45 record for her back then!
Me too
It was a good show, got canceled way too soon
Loved this show, and still do. In the late 90's, I ran the HCTB Fan Club. I also became friends with most of the cast. Of the cast, only Bobby Sherman and Bo Svenson, and the two kids Eric Chase and Patti Cohoon, are still alive today, ❤❤❤❤
We're happy to know that you're a fan of the show. In your opinion, what is its best episode?
Bridgit Hanly was a cheerleader and graduated from Edmonds (20 miles north of Seattle) High School in 1960.
I really liked her character Candy.
It had a golden cast. Biddie was pure genius.
Well said, we strongly concur! Thank you for watching our content and for sharing your thoughts. Which episode of the show is the most memorable for you?
Hi. I don’t really have a most memorable one,but I especially like the scene where Josh and Jeremy sing the Christmas song. In fact I’m gonna watch it right now.
late Susan Tolsky had great talent for comedy, she did many things after this show, Mama's Place etc. she is missed
@@gvoisinetI just watched that show "A Christmas Place" and I admit that I must have missed it when I was young. It was a very touching story, I'm glad I watched it.
I loved this weekly series. I wish they made clean shows like this show. I am tired of the trash they put on TV these day.
We're happy to know that you love the show. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. If we may ask, who is your favorite cast member?
Too funny. The women brought to Seattle to marry all the single men were mostly prostitutes.
HCTB actually first appeared in 25 September 1968, not 1969 :)
Us too! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
@@FactsVerse I like this format of telling about a series genesis, how it began, and what led to its cancelation.
Loved the show was so upset it was canceled didn't get to see the wedding of Jeremy and candy.i had such a crush on Bobby still do and I'm 67 now lol
Ditto Vada, ditto
The bluest skies you've ever seen are in Seattle . Several big singers covered it.
Including BOBBY SHERMAN
My friends and I watched the show. We used to debate whether David Soul or Bobby Sherman was cuter.
We're happy to know that you love the show. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. If we may ask, which episode did you like the best?
Sherman but I wouldn't have kicked Soul out of bed, either- nor Robert Brown!
Bobby Sherman 💜loved his music too !
I guess I watched the first rerun because I saw it when we came back from Okinawa in 1971-1972 & 1972-1973 when we lived in Spokane Washington. I was 12-14. Bobby Sherman was my first crush.
I bought DVD set for series one, really enjoyable, and I saw it decades ago as a child

@@FactsVerse Robert Brown
Watched this until it was cancelled. I was in love with David Soul.
We're happy to know that you love the show. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. If we may ask, which episode did you like the best?
I was in love with David soul when he appeared on starsky and hutch. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
We're happy to know that you love the show. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. If we may ask, which episode did you like the best?
Also Paint Your Wagon..Clint Eastwood...lee Marvin...Gene Simmons
Barn dance on 7 brides 7 bros. Genius!
Both Robert Brown (The Alternative Factor - 1967) and David Soul ("The Apple - 1967) also appeared in ST episodes
Wife loved the show. She went to college in Seattle
We're happy to know that you love the show. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. If we may ask, which episode did you like the best?
I can't remember if all the characters had theme music but I can still recall the bittersweet tune they played whenever Essie the School teacher was in a scene. Can't find it on UA-cam though. Yeah my sisters had a crush on Bobby and David also.
We watched the show when I was little, I remember some of it, mostly Bobby Sherman. I had a big crush on him at the time!
Fun stuff, thanks for sharing! Which episode of the show appealed to you the most?
My favorite line- "We're Presbyterian orphans." Lol
>Clancy to crook>"His Bosphorus is broken! Crook>>Is that bad?>Clancy "There's nothing left but to call for a priest. Go to town and get Father Jason!"
Or the episode where the Brides pull a Lysistrata on the boys to stop the brawling with Stemple's men. One of the loggers climbs a ladder outside one of the Dormitory window and calls one of the girls. Biddy opens the shutters and says" If only you'd called the right name...mine!" as she shoves his ladder over.😆
I loved all the Bolt Brothers but my biggest crush was Big Swede ❤
Fun stuff, thanks for sharing! Which episode is the most memorable for you?
Same here. Loved it back in the day.
Oh my gosh...loved the Series..but way to short..😯

We're happy to know that you're a fan of the show. In your opinion, what is its best episode?
@FactsVerse Actually I abhorred the show. I cannot stand sitcoms. They are all ridiculously stupid. I have not watched TV for many years. 👍👍👍
Bobby Sherman, my butt. The best looking man was Robert Brown. Second was Mark Lenard. I loved this show and watched it faithfully.
You're definitely right about Robert Brown.
@@carolynking5470 Agree, he was a hunky logger, the image made for him.
Mark was a very kinid and gentle man. I had the privilege to get to know him a bit when I worked for a convention organizer from1986 until his death.
@@Maria-z3mp - Joan Blondell was nominated for an Emmy both seasons!
Three handsome men made it easy on the eyes.
I loved Here Comes the Brides when it initially aired. I loved again when GetTV aired it on the weekends. Was very very disappointed and sad when Get TV took it off their station.

UA-cam has all the episodes on April Wades Channel. Or just look up Here Come the Brides on UA-cam. You can watch them anytime you like!
@@FactsVerse The pilot was terrific and was like watching the play “7 brides for 7 brothers” and the orchestration of Hugo Montenegro was excellent and fit the show like a glove! The writing and character development kept the show in the top ten all season!

I loved HCTBs any time I want because I own both seasons and I can watch it on UA-cam also on the Roku channel.
didn't Mark Lenard appear on Star Trek first (which aired a year before the pilot aired?)
I just checked Merk Lenard in IMDB...
2 roles in Star Trek TOS:
Journey to Babel (1967) ... Sarek
Balance of Terror (1966) ... Romulan Commander
Aaron Stempel in Here Come the Brides
All 52 episodes (1968-70)
We're happy to know that you love the series. In your opinion, what is its best episode?
Late 1860s to early 1870s. That's a pretty small window to recognize women's fashion styles 150 years later. How old are you?
The Beginning Of The Shows Has A 1867 Advertising For Women To Go To Seattle. So There!!
Also, in the first episode Lottie says to Jason something like "There's been a war Jason, and lots of decent ladies are looking for husbands". Thanks for spotting that 1867 ad and confirming what I've believed all along.
Joan Blondell had a great career, sadly she is virtually unknown today
Loved this show when I was a kid. Ahhhh Bobby Sherman. Need to watch a few episodes.
Fun stuff, thanks for sharing your life story. What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
There was an episode in the 2nd season, Another Game in Town, where Aaron Stempel falls for a con woman running a "dance hall emporium", Patricia Vanderhoff. Other than that he was occasionally paired with Biddie, not that she was really his sweetheart, and there was mention of him dating other brides early on.
My wife's from Seattle and definitely crushed on Bobby Sherman.
I watched it faithfully when I was very young. I became a lifelong Joan Blondell fan because of it. My sister's infatuation with Bobby Sherman was insufferable.
We're happy to know that you're a fan of the show. In your opinion, what is its best episode?
20 years ago I worked with Jungian therapist (Kris)tina Holland, who played a bride in at least 2 episodes. I was watching an episode on UA-cam and spotted an oddly familiar face. She also had regular role as Bill Bixby's personal assistant on The Courtship of Eddie's Father. I knew none of this until I had been seeing her for months. She seemed a bit shy and embarrassed about telling me about her acting career, I'll leave it up to you to figure out why.
I honestly never heard of this show, maybe because it was before my time. But this video is interesting. Thanks for sharing.
You're very much welcome! We're so glad you enjoyed this video. What other types of video would you like to see?
Just 2 names: Bobby Sherman and David Soul . . . enough said.
It premiered in 1968, not 1969.

You think when they knew the show was going to be canceled they would have had Jeremy and Candy get married
The actors didn’t know the show was being cancelled. They found out by word of mouth through the other actors. How horrible is that? I don’t believe the writers were aware of it either. They just left the series hanging in the end. Terrible way to end.

Bobby Sherman was such a dream to my nine year old self...
ACTUALLY Star Trek was filmed in the early 60's and Here come the Brides came out in the late 60's
