He really is in remarkable good health for 77 years old. This considering all the years of smoking not to mention the copious amounts of hard drugs he consumed. Just wish he would cut some new instrumental tracks, something we have not heard before! He will always be my favorite & really is a very classy "self" educated man

@@roywatson8133 obvious you don't know much about music, this man worked had his whole life, a self taught guitarist, from an early age he became the most wanted session player, learnt how to write music, was in the most biggest band in the world he produced all his and others work, remastered and designed there albums. I wouldn't call him lazy.
@@Lynne011000 since he played with the black crowns in 2000 you can count on one hand the number of times hes been back on stage no new music bit of a dissapointment i would say
@@roywatson8133 considering he was born in 1944 , he done an album with David Coverdale , he done a solo album also led Zeppelin got together with John bono son and done a concert at the 02 in 2007 25million applied for tickets so do a bit digging please.

Frustrating
Hmm, you say only a myth.... take a moment to consider what it would be like for any guitar player/ song writer to be required to follow Jimmy Page. Now think what that pressure would be for Page himself. Anything less than what's already an extremely wide and large body of work would be considered a failure. So if you were Page and you had the money and recognition for an extraordinary career.... well if he decided to not put out anything less than....I wouldn't blame him....I can't see where he has anything to prove that doesn't come on a radio station commonly on any given hour.....

unlike robert plant who as moved on page just lives in the past thats all hes good enough for over the the last 20 years all so books interviews talking about the past talks about a new band solo albums nothings come of it its all bullshite all he likes doing now showing off with that ginger headed tart whos hes been seeing yes sure page a desinteresting relic from the past thats how i look at it fill me in

Eventually I'll end up buying this book... I'm too much of a fan not to... It just seems kinda weird to me though... I mean his music speaks so much louder, to me, about Jimmy Page, than any book can... I'll probably read it once and then never touch it again... Conversely, I've listened to all Zeppelin, Firm, Yardbirds albums over and over throughout the years... I can't count (seriously I have no idea, but it has to be hundreds) the times I've seen The Song Remains the Same... ...and I'll be going back to the music until the day I die... Get what I mean?? The book just ain't gonna give any deeper understanding than what he's already communicated with his artistry!
