It is possible in the future to add 'layers' to the editing app so that we can edit and select groups of items without inadvertently affecting other groups? I don't know how it'll affect containers etc though. Is it also possible to add an option link items in the editor together (for custom control editing purposes not mixing) ie. Changing the input/mix assign of the fader control on one changes another or several. I mainly use CC for IEM mixing and have containers within containers to mix 48 inputs to 12 IEM mixes, so you can imagine how tedious it can get to manually assign or reassign inputs and mixes to faders in CC and then having to make sure that all 12 mixes are adjusted accordingly etc.
Yeah i so need this, im going bonkers with sending stuff to the background and foreground. I also would like to see grouping options so we can distribute multiple objects belonging together much better.
Hi sir! Got a question. I'm a dLive user and trying to do what your doing för IEM mixing. But how do i set upp different login/users and how do they login? If im on iem 3, how do i access that specific layout?
Do you have to have a mix set up in the board for custom control to lock on to? We have 3 in ear mixes already, but are wanting to add more. If we create a custom control...what Is it actually controlling? I don't want a singer to control the house mix thinking they are just controlling their in ear mix.
Hi Casandra, Only the parameters made available in your Custom Control panel are available to the user. If you want them to only control their mix, you can create a panel that only contains parameters related to their mix. Thanks! Alex
Since there is a limit on 10 accounts, is there a way to create a layout with multiple buttons that would allow a user to choose which AUX they're mixing? I am wanting to put an "AUX selection" layout in the vertical orientation and a "mix" layout in the horizontal orientation.
Hi Brian, You could use the Tab Container for this, as each tab can contain the send faders for each mix. Go to support.allen-heath.com to submit a request for more information. Thanks! Alex
@@AllenandHeathUK Thanks for the reply. I thought of this, but it appears to be limited to 10 tabs. I tried to put tabs within tabs as well to get around that, but that doesn’t seem to be supported either. Is increasing the 10 account limit in the works at all?
Hi Brian, This hasn't been requested previously, but you are welcome to post the suggestion on our community forum here: community.allen-heath.com Another approach could be to assign buttons to scene recalls. You can then assign the scenes to different layouts. For example, Scene 1 could recall Layout 1 in custom control that has all send faders for Aux 1. This way, you can have as many buttons as you need if you have the scenes available. Thanks! Alex
Hi Kuber, Please go to support.allen-heath.com to submit a request. I can then look at what you have set up in Custom Control and check if the settings are valid. Thanks! Alex
Are we ever going to get MCA's in the apps?

How do I implement DCA faders controlling send levels? when i attempt it the faders appear disabled after connecting.

How to you set a given user or tab with channel faders to mix an Aux mix as opposed to the LR mix?
Choose "send level" under "Level Type" on the fader's properties.
So essentially you can build your own IP8 on an ipad?
Hi,
You can build your own custom layout of faders and keys, and assign any specific function of channel to these.
Cheers,
Rafael
So Nice 💘💘💘💘💘💘
