What SGA been doing is nothing short of incredible. Honestly even tho Jokic's stats are insane, SGA stats are still incredible, And i feel like as far as MVP voting goes, The league should reward WINNING over everything else. 31-5-6 while leading one of the youngest squads to being far and away the best team in the west & Arguably THE best team in the league right now IMO is just undeniable. Unless the Nuggets can catch up to OKC's record like they did last year, I really don't see how Shai doesn't win, Especially if he keeps up this current pace. Above all else tho, It's looking like Shai & OKC have there sights on bigger things this season, I think they have a SERIOUS chance at making the finals tbh. This team is DANGEROUS.

Subjective voting on awards doesn't equal objective quality. SGA has been proving more this season.
But, don't grt ahead of yourself. Jokic has never beaten a 50 win team in a regular playoff series in his 10 yesr career. They only won the title because they lucked up and played the worst competition in the history of the 82 game era of hoops, with not one elite, 50-win opponent. They played nothing but 40 win teams whrre the highest win total was 45 wins and the lowest was 41 , which is sub .500, for an average opponent win total of about 43 games, not even 2 games over .500. He also hasn't led his team to 60 wins once, despite other great bigs and players lesding their teams to 60 eins with equivalent talent. Yet, folks swear his impact is next level somehow.
And 2 of Jokic's MVP's, 2021 and 2024, came in seasons where Embiid was far and away the best player and leading the MVP race by a wide margin until injuries half way through the season knocked him off course.
He's been most valuable player two out of his three times, solely becaud the actual best player that year got hurt. The idea that he is on other level from the rest of the league is overtly bogus. He's greatz sure. He's top 5 easily, maybe top 3. But the voters prefer to select him over others because he looks like them.
And that's with Jokic having an extra 3 or 4 years to his career. All that said, SGA should be leading the race.

@ nah bro jokic is a Center no where to be found on all nba defensive teams not even 3rd team, part of his role is to be a defensive anchor for his team, and there’s more expected from him on that end which he doesn’t fulfill. Offensive is great but another aspect not mentioned is how players move off ball, just look at Shai’s movement you’ll understand, despite being a point guard he does a lot to attract the defense and free himself up and his teammates, he doesn’t always get the assist cuz he’s not holding the ball 75% of the time like jokic and Luka. Luka is a worse on this end, jokic is a bit better but he has to understand that even if he’s a great passer sometimes their offense stagnates cuz they have him running too many plays. Denver has mature players and there’s no excuse for this, okc has half their guys barely 3 years in the league and they seem like they are all good when in reality it’s a domino effect that starts with the SGA and the coaching. Most of the guys on the thunder don’t even avg consistently good numbers on offense besides SGA. Last year their second leading scorer only averaged 17, while Shai was at 30+

Its crazy that the Clippers got rid of SGA for Paul George and Paul is not even with the Clippers anymore or himself and SGA is probably the best guard in the NBA. I am not saying he is Michael Jordan but me comparing him, has an old school man who watched MJ, SGA does not have athleticism that MJ has but he still dominates the scoring and defense very similar. SGA’s numbers so far this season: Averages: PPG 31.3, RPG 5.5, APG 6.0, SPG 2.0, BPG 1.2, in only 34.5 minutes a game. Shooting: FG% .528, 2P% .601, 3P% .350, FT% .878 at 26 years old versus MJs at the same age: Averages: PPG 33.6, RPG 6.9, APG 6.3, SPG 2.8, BPG 0.7, in 39.0 minutes a game. Shooting: FG% .526, 2P% .548, 3P% .376, FT% .848. If SGA with the same numbers but averaging MJ’s 39.0 minutes a game his averages would look like this: PPG 35.4, RPG 6.2, APG 6.8, SPG 2.3, BPG 1.4. Those are incredible numbers for SGA without counting the best record in the though west. He definitely plays like MJ’s era instead of todays 3-point era.

Harden, KD, Curry, D-Rose, Nash, Iverson and Magic all shouldn't have gotten their MVP's?

OKC is about to crown their third MVP in the last 11 years. This regime of the franchise has only been around 16 years. Not to mention they drafted another MVP in James Harden. That is just unfair man, then you have franchises like the knicks who are in the biggest market and most valuable yet can never dream of that lol

Hear me out. Sga is like a 6’6” kyrie. He’s not flashy with his handles or layup package. However, the ball is on a string, he’s crafty, has a counter for anything you throw at him, and can finish with either hand. Just like kyrie, there’s nothing you can do with him.
