It was just a poor landing. It landed harder on the 4 link bar than it did on the actual shock. He didn't tap the breaks in mid air to bring the nose down.
you need to know that every monster truck show is different from monster jam shows. grave digger is part of the main shows, he's not commonly known for showing up at independent shows like this show here
It's so disappointing to watch Jimmy or Dawn run they have crappy equipment they can't even make one jump without breaking something the investor money in the wrong places definitely not in their truck they're not there for the fans they're in it for the money and it shows they tiptoe around the track in every show because they know they're going to break LOL it's so disappointing when I know I'm going to a show and these two were going to be there it ruins the whole show you need to learn to start driving like Ryan or Dennis or perhaps Tom or Adam or just retire and get out of the show and leave it to the pros
First off he does drive like Tom Adam Dennis and Ryan because he's beaten all 4 of them on several occasions 2nd You try being an independent driver owning 4 trucks and all the parts comes from your pocket Jimmy is up there as one of the best Indy drivers in Monster Jam and Independent shows and him winning WF6 In freestyle winning many events in his career would prove that

If the truck doesn’t land on all fours or at least two wheels in general it’s pretty easy to break something especially the four link bar.
