  • This is a Chinese string trimmer, pole saw, hedge trimmer and brush cutter I found on Ebay. It is fairly inexpensive ( cheap ) ( cheapest ). Follow along as I do and unboxing, assembly, startup, and a review of all of the attachments. Like TIMBERPRO Trye 52cc 5 in 1 Petrol Garden Multitool.
    The hedge trimmer was a success! Time to try the string trimmer and brush blade out on some scrub brush. Keep an eye out for a Robin NB26 trimmer / brush cutter. It makes a cameo appearance. I LOVE the old Robins, they are the best weed eaters I have ever used. For pure power the GRM520 wins hands down! I can only hope it will last as long as the Robins...

      Jeff Rogosz I have used a carbide chain for a while now on my Stihl MS290. I love it because you can get into some nasty, rotten, dirty wood and it still keeps going. Let me know how it holds up, I would love to hear. ~Mr. C.

    Yours sounds just like mine. I thought dang I got shoddy bearings in the head. A little investigating found that that the sealed bearings in the gear head are Austrian made!

      Christopher M. I thought the head sounded a little rough also so I used a chain saw bar grease tool and put a few squirts in. Figured it wouldn't hurt. I hope they hold up... Thanks for the info! ~Mr. C.
      Here is the grease I used: amzn.to/2VB0QqU

    Toss a decent blade on it and it looks like it would destroy bush lots. I am suspicious of the bearings in that engine though. The Chinese aren’t known for quality bearings lol.

      OTR Adventures good point. I have a few blades I want to try out. I just have not had the opportunity to do it yet. I agree the manufacturer probably doesn't use the highest quality material. So far so good, I have been beating on her hard for a year and a half and it has held up. I feel if it did let go now I have gotten my money out of it and would buy another. Thanks for watching and commenting! If you have a favorite brush blade I would love to hear about it. ~Mr. C.

      Jeff Rogosz I know what a bargain! I have noticed on the internet the price has gone up a little (July 2020) but still a good deal. ~Mr. C.

      @Bob Dole are you referring to the pull cord or the trimmer line? ~Mr. C.

    What was the old trimmer ?

    • @NaturesCadenceFarm
      @NaturesCadenceFarm  4 роки тому

      Chris Kennedy that is a 1987 Robin NB26. My grandfather purchased that trimmer new in 1987 and used it on his 13 acres for around 20 years. She got neglected and some parts went missing so I collected up all of the parts I needed to get her going again and have been using it around the farm. I love this brand trimmer! I also have a 1987 bicycle handle NB26 ( my fathers) and a 2000 bicycle handle NB281 I purchased in 2000. Sadly they are no longer made so parts are getting harder and harder to procure everyday. Thanks for asking! ~Mr. C.
