Hey Varun.. finally back with a podcast! Sorry about badgering you earlier about them.. and thanks a lot for doing this! Listening to veterans speaks is always enlightening 😉
Splendid sir! I love how Varun sir was listening closely to understand rather than to reply! This video leveraged my knowledge, and thank you for that...
The first time I saw shumi was with a Daytona review. I underestimated this "old"ish man. But now, I would stab that old me for thinking that way. He's an epitome of knowledge! And it's really nice to hear him speak at such excessive lengths. Really really fun. This made my day. Thank you powerdrift! And also shumi's inclusion makes up somewhat for sheldy's exclusion. It's fair now. I guess. Peace
I'd pay to listen to Shumi talk, but too bad I get it for free! Thanks thanks PD for this section. A ton of thanks! Now you're a complete channel for me, except I'm always greedy for some well written articles. If you had a website and Shumi had a column there... my potty sessions would be sorted for life!
Thanks for starting this, Shumi and Varun. Being a rookie motorcyclist, these podcasts are practically riding education. And you guys keep the conversation at a great place and vibe too, looking forward to all upcoming podcasts :) Keep sharing the knowledge!

Finally made it to complete the podcast. It was an awesome experience.Expecting lot more talks like this.Fascinating to hear Shumi's take on knee slides at Powerdrift, once a knee slide every bike channel with the Great Sagar 😁.
Hi.. I listened to all the podcast on the show "torque the talk" and also watched this podcast.. just had two questions or topics I feel which were not covered intensively.. one is "how to ride properly" I mean shumi spoke in torque the talk podcast that one can really learn alot TWO school about riding properly but at the same he said it's not affordable to anyone so I was thinking you guys can have a podcast on this explaining certain things that we may not know in a podcast which will helps us who can't afford to go for the school.. and now second topic that i had in my mind is about the "behind the scenes at powerdrift" means explaining what goes behind shooting a video, the struggle, the retakes, editing, location scouting, getting the bikes, cars then various experiences, the pain behind making a video etc because many of us have subscribed to this channel many years back and I have noticed the content is always having high production value, many called it top gear of India and I feel we deserve an insight on video making a powerdrift video.. it would be great to hear from you all about the experience.. waiting for it...
Hi Shankar, we understand what you, however, a topic like 'riding a bike properly' is a topic that's better left to be learnt at school. There are high chances that someone could misunderstand or try to apply the knowledge in a high-risk environment. Both of which is highly unfavourable. In a school, you have the instructors who give personal guidance. The track is also a safe place where one can hone the skills learnt. About behind the scenes, yes, we are trying to get you more of that.
ive been riding a scooter from 2016 and am on my way to get my first bike soon, listening to Shubhabrata makes me so excited and want to join a riding school. i love how he says that when Anand rides his head is out of place and he says "OOOh I've never seen that before " I related to it ,going on a road makes me feel so good and everything seems so new and beautiful. Also I've never been on a track but I feel that it would be too unsafe of some sort even imagining being on a track makes me feel uneasy.
Hey Sai, the race tracks have regulations, making a leather riding suit mandatory. If you do not have one, you can always rent it from TWO's suppliers.
Can anyone tell me where r other track schools? I know about bic, kari and mmrt!? Both of these r either too north or too south for me Any more of such locations in inda?
Well Well Well, what can I say about Shumi sir. An Encyclopaedia, Wikipedia, any other paedia if there is a word to describe his knowledge and love for motorcycles. If he wishes to speak on motorcycles for say 24 hours I am willing to listen to him. Such a knowledgeable gentlemen. @Powerdrift, this podcast initiative is wonderful and looking forward to another episode of the podcast soon. Big thanks to Powerdrift to bring Mr Shumi on board to talk his heart out about Motorcycles. Regards, @iamdesirossi.
