@@ClassyDriver very good question! here in north lapland winter usually starts by getting cold fast. Like +5c first but then it drops -5c over night, and gets colder. So we dont have that melted snow shit. And we dont use salt up here on roads either. So it usually is all the time minus degrees and dry air. Then when spring comes I will wash it from bottom as well. Maby couple times during winter also. I dont drive so much daily. There is now 124 000 km all total 😇
That looks absolutely incredible. Incredibly refreshing to see compared to southern Canada. Last week I drove 1hr during a dry day after we had lots of snow and "safety measures" being applied to the roads. Even though I drove mostly back country roads that didn't have any snow, the roads were almost "white" with salt, and my Mineral Gray BMW was mostly Mineral Sodium White in colour.
@@S65Finland In Canada the reason is bad drivers, it's safer to use salt than to rely on the non existent skill of the drivers. For our climate which experiences +30C and -30C, our driver education is extremely poor, and very cheap. It is very VERY inadequate for the drastic climate changes we face. I wish our driver education system reflected the Scandinavian one.
v12 s65 amg winter beater :D
Yes! :D Really nice route to drive! And a great car also!
Amazing drive. My V12 is in a winter sleep now. How have you protected the underbody of your S65? All that snow, water, salt....

@@horatiuhaba thanks for sharing. Sounds interesting. Here they dont use salt. More south yes. I dont know what is the reason?

@@horatiuhaba Do you have good quality winter tires? Spikes / "heat tires", like not those middle EU crappy 24/7 tires.
