Now is definitely the time to grab the imperium upgrades that give you extra stuff for getting into fights. You're about to get into the main thrusts of a multi sided war.
Just always use autocombat! Even if you don't plan on using it it's nice to show what the AI would do. If you think the result is fair, you can decide to take it or even then choose to fight anyway. You can also pick autocombat and show the playback, to showcase a new unit for instance.
You should probably consider expanding the Wizard Tower lines of buildings in your Throne city. It will add imperium income (which you won't be able to increase unless you add more ancient wonders in to your empire). I would love to see you add some of the ancient wonders on the periphery of your empire once you are able to deal with your enemies. Also, need to increase the city cap once you finish the city you are adding to your empire (unless you plan to release it as a vassal which doesn't fit the lore). You should probably also train a couple of scouts and research the increased vision upgrade for them and cast it. It will help you scope the rest of the lands. If you also apply the race transformation for forests it would be pretty safe for them to scout as long as they can find forests to hide in.
For the times you have a safe battle but really want to avoid losing any units you should still auto resolve and check what the outcome is. If it's not ok you can then do the fight yourself. Also in that event you can watch how the ai played it out and possibly learn from their mistake. Although the fights are entertaining, with how many fights you're going to encounter soon more auto-resolves will help to keep the progression from being too slow.
You can attack with the unicorn after a phase. It makes a devastating flank. If you move them into position to teleport, you'll get the 60% charge bonus after you teleport since they moved
I've never had the ai from city states assist me in any wars, they only seem to defend their borders. Only the AI of other leaders seems to assist with war, but even then that's sketchy. Still loving the series and honestly, I think roleplaying the choices is the best way to play this game.
You still have a lot of the map to explore, maybe get a dedicated exploring expedition, like the idea you had before with the leader but actually getting to the other side of the sea and settling (later you can get teleporters for easy access to the other side of the map)😅
Good call backing off that infestation, but for future knowledge you can attack a spawned stack without bringing in the infestation itself. Makes it two much easier battles. Also, i hvae to ask, in the battle of woundheart you had multiple changes to phase in your unicorn and didnt. Why not? It could have dealt a lot lf damage and possibly eliminated units before they dealt any damage. Loving the series and the RP flavour you're putting into it.
A Merchant's Guild in Sporepit is worth 30 Gold, but a Worker's Guild in Sporepit would have been worth *80 Production.* You can only have one Guild per city, and could have gotten more Gold by building a Fishery Province and unlocking the Harbor City Structures.
Given the number of battles you are fighting now and should likely be fighting in the future, have you considered the chaos tree abilities 'Battlefield looting' and especially 'Lure of the Horde'? Battlefield looting would help the money situation some and lure of the horde is very thematic for this play-through. Also, in the battle for Wunderhart - there was a breach in the wall directly above the Dread Spider Matriarch's starting position. You can go up that ramp of broken rubble into the gap in the pallisades. You also could have phased the unicorn behind their forces and attacked. Lastly, you may consider bumping up your allotted city cap - the penalties really start to build.
Who would have thought that leaving a large coastline directly in the heartlands of your empire undefended within arms reach of two powers who has announced great hostility towards multiple times and said they're gonna attack is not a great idea, who would have thought.
"gur guls growth" sounds like a movie a seen once.... 😁 JK this has been a fun watch though even though I am very late...just started playing AoW planetfall so it has me watching this series for some reason lol
Since Gneissen has a lot of german names in it's population, I think maybe it is pronounced more german. This would mean that the g at the start is not silent and the ei is pronounced like "eye", more of an "ai"-sound. Not a criticism, just some linguistic nerdy bs :D Love the series btw
@@ROGOrphan yes, exactly. Thanks for the clarification, I can't think of an English word with gn at the beginning where the g isn't silent... Think of "agnostic" without the a maybe?
Heelo. as usually love the series and how you RP it. And now full out war with soon maybe 3 AI at the same time. How will this end, cant wait to see! Just one constructive feedback. As much as I love watch your episodes, in this you did spend almost 20min on a battle that was just very easy. I do understand that you don't like to redo the auto resolve and you dint want to lose any units but loosing some units is part of the game and just make it more interesting. So that was a bit of wasted time imo and your videos are only 1h.But other then that awesome. I have so much fun watching, keep it up =)
Why haven't you done any of the minor race Transformations? (Toward the end you actually picked it lol) I'd love to see the evolution into animal kinship
You do know that units can still use their 1 AP charge attack after a Phase? Like "Move as far as you can" - Phase - Attack, all in 1 turn. Because I've watched you waste that Unicorns charge potential so many times now it's getting slightly annoying.

Hard agree, the AI in this game is competent and can fight effectively bar the occasional exploit

Finally binge watched my way through here and loving it!!

Thanks! Really enjoying this.
Loving this series!
Baba the Boar still waiting for his full animal stacked army, you promised!

In siege, summoned birds could have moved after summoned to harassment of ranged units.
Like your way of telling this Let's play a lot, it is very entertaining, funny, interesting, thank you very much and hope to see lots of episodes!
Thanks for the kind words and the support - really appreciate it, and I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the show!

You might be able to use the instant army pop-up option in the nature tree?
26:35 Same vibe as people who say 'I never lie" lol

As long as we can turn the situation around, we can just say it was all part of the plan lmao 👍 !
I really like this series :)😃

Thanks for #10 mate,
I hate to say that I told you so, but I told you so. Back in episode 8 I did mention that you should watch your back otherwise you'll be hit badly
Like this video, can i get vids of other movies to fit well.
Thanks
Appreciate the support, thank you!
Great episode as always! These wars make me nervous haha

Honestly, this is the exact reason I read comments on videos. Keep up the nerdy linguistic shit!
I love this stuff! So wait... it's more like "Guneyeson"? Trying to figure out how to say the Gn right.
Thanks for the pointer here!
@PartyElite I think he means it sounds more like, "gnEYEsen... which does sound more appropriate as far as German pronunciation goes.

@@markusweller5944 Yezzir! Gnostic is a word as well. It's just not really used anymore
More gurgling the the gur Gul 🎉

Yeah, I assumed you'd done them already, they are fun and thematic!
Mostly been focused on growing our armies and the transformations got left behind as a result. Definitely going to get some going, finally!

Yeah it's more a concern of letting it get isolated - I'm being overly cautious
@@PartyElite Fair enough. Just try to be aware of it!
Hey party! I was just wondering, do you plan on going back to planet zoo anytime soon?
Hi party big fan make another workers and resources soviet republic
