NASCAR HAULERS ARRIVE AT BRISTOL MOTOR SPEEDWAY - 2024

- The NASCAR Cup Series haulers entering Bristol Motor Speedway is one of the craziest looking things you'll ever see. The 80,000 pound big rigs loaded with 2 NASCAR haulers and all sorts of equipment and tools enter at the crossover gate at the entry to turn 3 on the half mile high banked track, come down the steep banking, making a left turn to drive toward turn 2 on the backstretch.
They go all the way around the track and make the tight turn to enter the infield garage area almost directly across from where they entered the track. They could potentially come straight across into the infield but looping around the track allows all of the trucks to get into the facility quicker, clearing the last trucks from the roadways entering the speedway.
They come in in a specific order that allows them to park efficiently, at first alternating teams' trucks parking at spots on opposite ends of the garage, but putting each team side by side with its own team trucks.
It's a very organized and precise process with each truck lining up it's left tires on the white line and then the back of each truck's trailer lined up on the exact spot to put them all in a very nice straight line. - Спорт

What a glorious, uniquely American spectacle.
Correct 😉
Love the classic look of the Peterbilts
Absolutely agree with you about that ❤🍻🍻🇦🇺🤝🇺🇲👊👋
The Semi Tractor Trailer Hauler drivers are IMO so much overlooked and under appreciated. And I would bet that they're better drivers than some of the guys you see on the track. Besides keeping the schedule from track to track on time. They've got to make sure the hauler is stocked from groceries to uniforms and even parts and tools. Bottom line is that the Hauler drivers are due some major respect!
The other huge task the truck drivers have is keeping their rigs spotless. This includes the trailer. Or at least that's the case for Motocross.
This is better than the race!
I love this video! I had the great pleasure of seeing the hauler parade at one of our trips th Bristol. So impressed with those drivers as well as the race car drivers. It looks so organized, such talent.
Damn, a lot of Freightliners. I like the Stewart Haas Petes, and that first Mack was gorgeous, but not a single KW?
No KWs, what is that all about. And black is the stand color, I guess?
Kw isn't keeping up with changing driver demand...neither is peterbuilt.....I hate international the small in the cab
Michael Jordans race team has a nice mack 12:22
@@AntWelchyeah that is nice 👍🏾
How's your Peterbilt ? 😮
I'm pretty convinced you need balls of steel to drive a hauler into this stadium. Not to mention this must be the only track where the haulers leave just as many skidmarks on the track as the cars do! Well done drivers! Respect.
Thanks for the views of all the semi everyone
Of them are just beautiful!!!!! Good job! From Ohio
What that all about, No KWs!
I want to see a video of them leaving Bristol, that's always interested me
I’ll get it tomorrow night for sure. I also have a playlist of NASCAR haulers and there may be video of them leaving from the dirt race 2 years ago. ( if not it’s on my TikTok- @chris8video )
The family and myself are here in Bristol too! We got here at 9AM drove up from Bama. Checked into our room. And not 5 minutes into checking into my Hotel I was offered a lot of money from some guy for our room! Blew my mind honestly cause i was like nah I'm sorry but with my crew we gotta have our one room an he gonna try an act like I'm some kinda bad guy! I'm just tryin to take MY Kids to a race an make some memories with them and I got my son-in-law to his first race. I just cant believe the nerve of people in this day an age! But the kids are so happy for tomorrow. And I'm excited too😆! This will be my 2ND spring race! I absolutely LOVE this place! God Bless to ALL and I hope each and EVERYONE of YOU enjoys the race tomorrow! If you're here please be patient and safe in traffic going to and leaving the track tomorrow. If you're watching from home hope you enjoy the snacks an food! You ALL just enjoy the day and all that precious PERSONAL FAMILY TIME!!! Sorry for being so long winded 😂
I Hope You & Your Family Have A Good Time At The Race Tomorrow 👍👍✌️
That's great for the kids. That is who the races are for these days !!
DOES NOT SURPRISE ME.
@@geraldthompson7749 Oh we are! About to check out what kinda steakhouse 🥩 Bristol TN has to offer! 😆
@@rdp4823 Yea they're ready for it. I can remember my first race with my Dad at Dega!
Awesome video keep up with a great work and be safe out there.
such a cool site, i am going to try and see them in gateway and around busch stadium this year
It’s nice to see SHR And RCR giving their hauler drivers a bit more room with the ARI sleepers. ( them are so far the only two teams I’ve noticed)
I’m not a big semi guy, but what about RFK? They look like they’ve got some room in the back there for a sleeping quarter thingy mabob. I mean obviously though they’re not as big. It also looks like hendrick has some sleepers too….. although it’s just dawned on me you may just be talking about them having more space :P
Again apologies, I really don’t know what I’m talking about 😅
@@BeagleBageler the RFK trucks are standard for the style(international lone star) as well with Hendricks. ( freightliner cascadia) The ARI sleepers are built separately from the manufacturer. While most US truck are big enough for a bed, TV, and Microwave, but the ARI is about the size of a pop up camper which allows for more space for one, but also maybe an actual stove and maybe a toilet. 😁
I just noticed there was a show more 😂😂 yes, all truck are sleepers but the ARI just gives a more comfortable living space while on the road
@@Rebelson122 Sweet, so the ARI’s are more like something akin to when you buy an f650 and then get a custom bed for whatever you need it for? At least I mean, like you said, it’s another company that puts that together
Also thanks for the explanation, I do appreciate it 😃
@@BeagleBageler that’s a great way of looking at it!
Not a problem!
10-4
i bet the 5th wheel and kingpin were doing overtime getting into Bristol. like to see the leaving,
I’ll definitely post that also!
As a truck driver, this would be my dream job in the industry.
The base of the track is at least 12 feet thick. Much thicker then the base for l 80 in Pennsylvania.. The weight is spread out over the axles and tires. The trucks are admitted by drivers points. That gives the team with the most points the bigger advantage when it comes to preparing to race and amenities..
Back in the day, tracks like Darlington, the track temperature was so high in the summer that the track disintegrated and the blacktop came out in big chunks.
Maybe you can remember seeing the pictures of the cars with screen and shields mounted to the front to try to protect the windshield and radiator. This is the reason why they had to improve the base of all of the tracks and why some tracks like Dover are made from Concrete and not Macadam.
Joey’s truck was first and he’s not the leader in drivers points.
I’ve walked down that ramp. It’s a lot steeper than it looks in this video.
A couple of them got a little tight with the water on the track!
"I'm tight center off."
"We took a half pound out of the front and round of wedge! You should start to loosen up once the fuel burns off...but tire wear is going to be a concern!!!" 🤣
Most hazardous part of the journey is cutting down on into the track!
The 9 hauler was using the 17 Xfinity tractor.
Truck was probably in the shop. New semi's are unreliable due to all the emissions systems on the engines.
@@7viewerlogic670 I know all about that lol the emission trucks a money bag from the start. I miss my old Pete.
Talked to the truck driver; The 9 tractor broke down in Texas on the way back from Phoenix. Had to be towed 9 hours to a shop. That tractor is still in TX.
If I remember right the 9 tractor broke down last year too.
Hey Chris cool video!!! Hey are you thr Chris weaver I run iracing with?
Yes I am!
That's awesome !!! I thought that was you!!
Man that was an awesome race!! Inwas sitting n the stands watching!!
One of my favorite parts of racing, brakes crying, mud flaps dragging. Love this truck parade. Thanks for sharing!
actually its the air exhausting out of the brake valves that makes the crying sound ☝🤓
If you listen closely it is a Backup Alarm beep beep beep. Everything that we buy from stores got delivered by a truck. They save wear on brake lining with the Jake Brake
All the trucks are cool
Hello Chris, @chrisweaver
At what time was this? We are visiting Bristol in september. We would love to see the haulerparade. We are going to visit the Xfinity first on friday. Can we stay on the track to see te haulerpared, or are the switching the trucks on the infield on saterday moorning? Or are they swithing the haulers in the night because hoth races are nightraces.
Thank you in advance.
Greetings from the Netherlands
Robert
The current schedule shows the Cup Series haulers entering at 9am on Friday morning - Sept 20. The Xfinity Series will enter before them at 7:30. The Arca and truck series haulers will arrive and leave on Thursday which is race day for them.
@@chris8video thank you Chris 👍🏼 that' s early. We arriving at Bristol in the afternoon. We are having our holidays, so in the moorning we are not yet in the neighborhood. But thanks for the quick answer
Dang!! More interesting to watch than Phoenix
Those Penske trucks were noisy coming in
Thank goodness no dirt.
I'm surprised the haulers don't ruin the race track. Haulers are so heavy, and so many on track. 80,000 pounds 3/16/24
Those trucks aren’t anywhere near 80,000…..
@@frankfarms83 would trucks still not ruin race track? I guess they meant 80,000 pounds all together, Thanks Frank, I still think to haulers to heavy for race track
@@janetbarker1216 no they won’t ruin the racetrack…. Id bet the total weight on the trucks other then the SHR trucks is under 60,000 pounds
The total of the rig is 80,000 - I figure they been doing this on the concrete for years - it’ll be ok. Lol!
@@chris8video Thanks Chris first time I ever watched haulers come into race track, so COOL
I wish they still made the haulers in diecast!
The visors being upside down on the Stewart Haas haulers irritates me. They'll look meaner going down the road with the point down imo.
Coolest semis I've ever seen
Sweet video awesome stuff in fact, new Subscribers from Cradle Mountain ⛰️ Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺 🤝🇺🇲👊👋🍻🍻 KC 😊
The Pete's and KW's look awesome.
Freightliners not so much.
Internationals should be on the farm.
No KW’s at all dude
I'll take your word for it, I couldn't watch it all but the large percentage of Freightliners shows a lack taste in trucks.@@thimes79
I actually like this shit 😂
K Whoppers are the best looking😅!!!
By The Way , Great Job On The Video Mr Weaver & Hopefully You Do More Of This 💯⭐👍👍✌️
I hear dragging
They need to add wedge and go up in air pressure😂
Chris, Great Truck video!! ❤️It! 🚛 All the brands except KWs🤔Very 😎 cool! Thank you for time to video!!!
The Menards Penske hauler was Ryan Blaney???? That was a generic design for your defending champion
Penske pretty much never changes the design of the haulers
Very nice! Some serious bucks rolling around there!
Some of those auto trans trucks needed their engine brake on, not a very smooth descent.
im happy to see they got some spotters to help them out. cool vid. super long trailers.
How (pray-tell) does someone fresh-outta CDL-/Trucking-school go about becoming a Nascar-Trucker? And how much trucking-experience is required to become a Nascar-trucker?
Great video of the trucks coming in. Those trucks are beautiful and kept spotless! The driver of the #5 rig is from not far away from where i live in Laurel, Delaware. When the Dover race is run Lance usually visits restaurants etc in the Georgetown, Delaware area. Are you able to get any autographed HERO cards when you're at these races? Cheers from Laurel, Delaware USA.
Thanks for sharing. The angles were great! It was nice to see the closer views of those classy rigs!
This is the best part of race weekends now, more interesting than anything that happens on the track, except for Ross Chastains move a couple years back. NASCAR is a woke snooze fest and the higher ups are afraid of Bubba.
Not one Kenworth? Wow, how America has changed. Lots of Freightliners, then Petes and two Macks.
Can Kyle Larson still not get other sponsors?
No need!
Thanks for sharing! This is great. Thank you for working so hard. Love the truck parade.
Literally the most gay trucks and most gay division of trucking.
Serious queston.
How many trailers does Roger Penske own? Including Indy, IMSA, Nascar.....not to mention Penske Logistics. 😅
BTW, not a single Kenworth in the parade😨. I'm shocked, are they so unpopular in the United States?
My freightliner sounds like you're murdering a dolphin too when you hit the brakes
These are no Trucks.
These are rolling homes with an oversized garage at the end of it. xD
Nice Video Chris it is Bristol Baby 🤗🤗🏁 I like Josh Berry Chase Elliott Kyle Larson Noah Gregson Alex Bowman and all Race car drivers
*Life is a highway, I wanna drive it all night long*
Unbelievable how many of them using those miserable freightliners.
Australia have better looking trucks hauling the Race Cars. Check them out
always wondered how they got all those trucks in the middle of the track lol
wowzers.... can you imagine how much money is sitting there?????
I’m guessing there’s more room to work with now since they don’t race 43 cars anymore
ITS BRISTOL 👍🏻 BABY!
YES IT IS!
I’ve pulled the race tire trailer out of there once and that was enough for me. Almost thought I would’ve snagged the catch fence on the way out when I left. That slope is steep enough that the transmission becomes louder than the engine as you climb it. Not fun but certainly an experience.
CORPORATION SPEEDWAY RACING, THERE IS NOTHING STOCK CAR ABOUT THIS.
This is America. Incredible for me as brazilian slave.
Gosh, how long are those trailers? How many are there, total? Wondered about the sound when they came in and finally realized it was the mud flaps scraping the ground.
Long enough to fit 2 cars up top
Awesome to See an Hear the Sound .These Trucks make Part of Racing .With out Them Your DONE 4 /Greetings from UK
Feel sorry for those drivers stuck driving the disposable Freightliners, even the Macks looked better.
Anyone noticed the #9 truck kinda different usually the cab is blue looks completely weird.
im so confused isint Bristol a dirt track?? i just watch a whole dirt series there 2 months ago, you telling me they empty and fill that stadium with dirt?
Hahaha no it's not a dirt track it's a concrete short track. Dirt was put down for the spring race for a few years then cleaned up and track washed really good so clean for the night race back on the concrete
5:04
Gad, Jeff Gordon's car sure has changed A LOT over the years. 😯
Do the cab's back wheel mud guards scratch and damage the asphalt on the track at all?
They get to do a victory lap before parking.
Those rigs are beautiful ❤❤
This is just 40 min of really slow trucks
I'm having a hard time now telling which is CGI, which is RC and which is real.
New subscriber here. For some reason I found this video guide entertaining. Keep them coming dude
See Those Haulers ruined race track, terrible qualifying today
Fascinating to watch from the uk , those trucks are outstanding be safe out there guys ! 🙏🏻🇬🇧
11:19 Anthem❤
How do you become a nascar truck driver. (I have my CDL)

Perfect coordination...
Trucks put down more rubber than the cars did
The mud flap weights behind the drives are taking a beating.
Those trucks do the same route the caravan must be spectacular...
I can't believe none of the haulers got a flat..
love the team penske air brake sound
Esperando a Rayo McQueen....
Trackhouse and Spire's logos are oddly similar.
INCRÍVEIS ESSES CAMINHÕES DE EQUIPAMENTOS DA NASCAR ! 😮😮😮😮
Chase Elliots Truck an RENTALor New ?????? Very Plain( Not Wrapped or Painted Yet) , #17 on the side.,
Talked to the truck driver; The 9 tractor broke down in Texas on the way back from Phoenix. Had to be towed 9 hours to a shop. That tractor is still in TX.
I love to watch those beautiful big rigs coming in to a race tra ck.
Cars Entering The Stadium
Whoever is driving the Penske Menards trailer is absolutely ridiculous. Hearing him pound those brakes and also let it run away uncontrolled as he entered the downhill would make me fire him tomorrow
Nah, he just confident.
Can someone check on the cats trapped in the Team Penske rigs…
#22 Truck is really slammed to the ground
Where is Mack with McQueen?
Enjoyed!!!!! 🤜🤛
Ha, the rolling bill boards. Simple things.......
