4G as good as it seems needs to be banned at all levels, training purposes is fine not on a Matchday tho. I can’t explain how many injuries I’ve seen playing on it.
As Marc commented, part of the problem is that there are many different kinds of 3G/ 4G pitches. Nobody settled on what a (non-grass) football pitch should be made of so certain boots/ studs might not suit all of them.
@@BunchOfAmateurs there are boots made for artificial grass but there isn’t enough use out of them because only 2-4 teams in most divisions use them, so you’ll need two pairs of boots to use for the season or take the risk of injury. That’s where the problem is, astro trainers are your safest bet but no one at your standard would use them in a game 😂😂
It’ll work against other teams in the league as dorking will dominate possession using that system, boreham wood are just very good and think we did well to get a draw in that game
Recommend getting AG specific boots for the team - wearing FG/studs will always end up in injury on these pitches with limbs getting stuck in the ground
Can I ask a question which has more than likely been asked and answered before..what's the stuff that comes out of the surface of the pitch when the ball bounces
25:00 Funny you should say those tackles (professional fouls) should be a penalty. It’s a long forgotten fact that the instant red card for fouls where the player is through on goal (which sees players making genuine attempts to get the ball being red carded), that law was introduced in the 90’s in an effort to combat the “professional foul” exactly the sort of foul this was. But for some reason it has never been used for what it was supposed to be for and instead players still just get yellow cards for actual professional fouls. So in theory, and the intention when the law was introduced, this foul would have been a red card if the law was ever used for what it was initially intended. It’s a bit like the back pass to the keeper. That was introduced because in the 80’s teams like Liverpool would play the ball back to the keeper to waste time. But that is rarely punished, which in a way shows how one law isn’t punished for back passes the keeper picks up that aren’t intended to waste time (Bradford City should have got a free kick for a blatant one this weekend), yet the “professional foul” law still targets the genuine attempt for the ball but doesn’t penalise those the law was intended for when it was introduced. Those two laws of football are my biggest bugbears. With me constantly saying “but we already have a law to combat professional fouls” but unfortunately they added the preventing a goal scoring opportunity which has since been lost in translation by referee decision makers. And instead it lead to that meaning any 1 on 1 situation which mostly results in a goalkeeper being sent off, which defeats the whole professional fouls issue because a professional fouls is designed to prevent a 1 on 1 with the keeper 🤦🏼♂️

5:52 that is some skill from the Boreham Wood player
He looks another level
Absolute crowd pleaser! 👏
The turf claiming victims already
I'm really fond of the opposite fans' interviews, that really is the spirit of football 😊
Best series on yt

The number 19 from Boreham Wood is a great player ngl
Played for notts county when they were in national league
Erico Sousa - He did not play for notts
@@danielwalker6551 my bad I meant Grimsby
@JackHenden we are lucky to have kept him this season. Looking forward to return fixture later in season 👍🏻
He played for my side Grimsby in the National league and he couldn’t cross or shoot to save his life. Looks like he had a one off decent game here.

Some Astros are fine Dorking is just shit
Dorkings dont look that bad tbh brennan looks like he was weaing fg studs tho@sasenterprise2873

5:54 outrageous skill to get past 2 players 😭
Wow Sousa’s touches to keep that ball in is incredible! 5:56
The Kevin Spacey reference was nice.
Sousa is a baller.
am i high or is it Kevin Spacey?
Maybe he changed his name to start a new career and hoped nobody would notice it's still him.
Always look forward to the new eps! Keep up good work
Lovely finishing by Prior for both goals
Excellent header from Prior for the second to find the far corner from that height and angle.
Keep it coming lads having a hard time and this makes me smile love listening to you all proper men
Sorry to hear that mate. Stay strong. We’ve got plenty more to come!
@@BunchOfAmateurs 💪🇬🇧 cheers lads
I hope Dorking get promotion this season 👍
Unlikely atm
So obsessed with a +1 at the back taking away from creating and scoring goals.

That Sousa guy is incredible, fair play
17:28 Nicely done on the narration
I didn’t see that coming to be honest😂
Thanks Rich & Team
that sousa is some player for boreham wood
I live near St ives and am a fan of Stevenage St Ives and Dorking so seeing Theo come in is a massive signing will be great for the club

They all wear AG mate. The 4g is just a harsher material that doesn’t give way the same way grass does hence the injuries.
That header and tackle by prior👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 some player that Sousa
Criminal playing on this pitch. So many injuries .
Great Video!
Them pitches are a death trap
Can I ask a question which has more than likely been asked and answered before..what's the stuff that comes out of the surface of the pitch when the ball bounces
Usually tiny little pieces of black rubber
It's called rubber crumb. Certain types of 3G pitch use it.

8:32 I don't f@!
21:30. It's not a law that you have to have players on their feet to receive a caution 😅
@21:50 that jarring of the knee looked horrific
19:42 What does Marc say here
`that ain't easy to do` 😂
That pitch is a killer
Oddly the other teams don't seem to get as many injuries on the pitch.
Tbf that Prior yellow card was an attempt to a professional foul but should’ve been a red, outrageously dangerous tackle
We are inclined to agree - players have gone for that!
Kevin Spacey reference today, love it but I'm partial towards the more historical references
17:41 that’s poor from no2 letting the ball roll onto him. He should go to the ball to play that pass back,
What is it with Dorking injuries ? Never known anything like it ?
We could all do with the answer to that one!
Just started watching this video , that Souza looks like some player .
Prior is quality but doesnt look fit, squad looks depleted lately with injuries, but they are becoming my favourite team
Buzzing for this cmon the boys
4G pitches should not be legal for official matches, too many injuries.
Ep6 and all I’ve seen from the keeper is mistake after mistake when under pressure the ball being played back to him.
Like kevin Spacey had me goinggg
what happened to Issy?
She left and joined a new club!
Erico Sousa, baller!
comment about biting his tongue from commentator made me chuckle
You should tell the other guy in the comments that - he hates us for mentioning that.
That pitch is no good have a lot of injuries on that
Kuhly and Carter are far too good for this league!
POV: watching this after their manager was sacked
this 6th tier club gets more coverage than MLS teams LOL
Two injuries because of astroturf…..should be illegal at dorkings level.
half time team talk was an absolute shambles of a mess. Infatuation with +1 availability when he has no idea where it might be.

Still mad at Macmanus for calling you fat?😂
The defending against the second wood goal was so poor
Yo 19 should be pro
Go on Prior that was a brexit tackle and a half 😂
Artificial pitches ending careers as usual. Shit stuff!!
Why do you hate Niall so much? 🤣
Niall likes to mock our clothes, weight and hair.
Imagine constantly telling each and every player what to do and when to do it. Typical control freak
I do the same when watching football on TV!!!😂😂😂 I got that from my dad and brother!!!
