You can see it in G-man’s eyes how terrified he is of Benry. He knows full well what Benry is and must be losing his mind cause he probably had no idea he could still move when time is frozen.
I think what makes it truly intimidating isn't the fact that he moves during g-mans stopped time. It's that he treats g-man the same as anyone else. Everything we know about g-man logically places him far above humanity, even the multiversal empire of the combine. But benrey just walks up to him, and acts like he's as much of a toy to him as Gordon is.

Gordon's subtle half-smile at the end is really great. He looks tired, fed up, vaguely amused and already expecting and accepting of the bullshit he has seen and will continue to see. I just wish the guard model was a little more shadowed around the eyes. That's my favorite part of Benrey/the HL1 guard model--the deep shadow around the eyes makes them look tired, vaguely intimidating and somewhat sickly. It's a great visual contrast to Benrey's nonsense bullshit.
Fave bit was at the end where GMan just. Noclips thru the floor, thumbs up "You-- You'll figure it out. You'll figure it out." And Benrey just, having that PS4 on his back like its a backpack was golden.

I think just seeing a surprised Gman is somewhat uncanny. The Gman typically shows little to no facial expressions, but to see him be confused or surprised at something when he's some all-powerful, ultradimensional entity? If _he's_ terrified of something, so should you.
I love how the models represent the mic quality, Gordon was seemingly rendered in Source2 and has the clearest sounding voice, meanwhile, the others sound very compressed and the models look like Source 1

G-Man’s shock and discomfort was probably the funniest damn thing he was just SO CONFUSED. Benrey was fantastic in this scene. This was so amazingly done, G-man’s reactions were priceless.
I like to imagine that G-Man knows exactly what Benry is, and is just confused/terrified at why such a powerful primordial being would want a PS Plus Free Trial. It’s very possible he’s seen the type of entity that Benry is and is very afraid of them, but never specifically met Benry.
I love how the music really shows this as the first time we see that benrey is way more powerful than he lets on. Gman is in shock, and Gordon is just in awe, with the music reveling in sinisterness, I haven’t played hl1, but I hear it’s weird, and I’d honestly say I think this story is better
