I will buy Any Japanese make outboard! Yamaha, suziki, honda
Well we know witch ones are still in Business
My Yamaha 40hp four stroke with a power prop beats my buddy's 30hp Evinrude Etac with a standard prop. My boat weighs about 800 pounds and his boat with the Evinrude weighs 550. My Yamaha was faster out of the hole and has more speed. This video is BS as far as I'm concerned!!!
I like how they purposely didnt use the Mercury's 2 stroke
I guess they forgot that the HPDI is a 2 stroke
Evinrude is bad 2 Da Bone!! Who want some?? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽🫡🫡🤠🤠🤠😎😎
Well it was fun , bye Etech. R.I.P
Why don't you compare a BMW to a honda civic. Very poor marketing. They must think bass fisherman are stupid.
I have 3 old evinrudes that run perfectly. Sad they went under.
Just brought this 2015 Ranger Evinrude G2 250 less than 20 hours and i'm having problems with the lower end. Looks like no fishing for me this weekend. Drop boat off tues and they won"t be able to get part till next week BS... not Happy The customer service they get 0 stars for me wishing i went with the mercury Pro xs.
Dennis Culler shoula gone with a merc man, sorry to hear that you just spent a shitload of cash on an engine and its having problems, glad we went with mercury we bought our boat years ago.
No merc Opti. And piss on Yamaha. They are ok, but this is America. Yamaha uses crappy metal in the blocks. Mercury starts it right!!
Many Merc's are now coming out of Chinese factories, expect the quality to drop.
You ask why a 4 stroke mercury was used. Because a 2 stroke would of blew evinrude away
The Yamaha was a two stroke...
And here's a fact from a Merc owner. The only Merc two strokes that could beat the ETec engines, were the Merc Racing Opti Pro XS OB's.
You wont find an allison or bullet with an evinrude on the back. Only two stroke pro-xs
If you look up Allison website, it shows one with a Honda and I just saw a Bullet for sale with an ETEC HO.
But I do think this video should've had a 225 Pro XS instead of the Verado. Would've been a better comparison. There is a forum where they put the big 3 on a Bullet. The etec jumped them all out of the hole but the Merc pro xs had a couple more mph top speed.
Wow,how to compare apples to oranges. Now put your Etek up against a two stroke Mercury, and see how you go lol.
Now Evinrude no longer exist😢
EvinRude is soo good
Till the evinrude 2 stroke blows and the yamaha pulls it home
Im getting a suzuki.
These days the evinrude would get soundly beaten by modern 4 strokes 😂
I would rather have a Tohatsu than an Evinrude.
At 1.10 yamaha is in good way to pass the evinrude
Merc. Optimax diesel the new power is here
Scott Lege merc is the way to go, never had any problems with mine man
Ah aaah aaaaaahh that wool just won't go over our faces. Who are you trying to fool? The merc and the yam finish neck and neck?? Sure.
It just proves E-Tec burns more fuel
Yup, 3rd party test? Ya, thought not
I have a evinrude etec 90 hp, hes fast , looks like a 115 four strock... Only say that
how u ganna choose a mercury 4 stroke tf
I hate to say it but mercury is the new king sadly I still like evinrude though I own 3
Where’s all the videos of mercury trashing the competition. None found. Class act
348 Loaded Lever true story . I have an old 1993 175 mercury xri efi on a 18.5 Ranger and I can out run a 225 Yamaha sho on the same size ranger boat my boat with 36 gallons of fuel and fully rigged bass boat tops out at 68.4 mph
@@B_B_outdoors
Those old Black Max outboards were insanely strong runners, and very light. My first boat was a '91 16' Sea Ray with a 150 XR2 and a jackplate. Ran an honest 73 mph with a 28" Chopper.
This didn’t age well
0 to Out of Business in a year. Next race - 7 Marine!
The reason I don’t think this is real is because I seem a Yamaha vmax 250 sho vs 250 evinrude e Tec and the Yamaha won
maybe you full gass Yamahaan and merury. on a side shot you could see they weren't full power.
Still with the 2 strokes... pitty
And where they today…hmmmmm
Bribery ? 🤔
yeah baby!!!!!!
The hpdi is 2 stroke
Brp is being hella biased
