    Bravo Jason! Thanks for showing us the labor of love that goes into making these trains. It's important to show the handy work and people that build them. Love your LRC trains! Looking forward to buying the RDC's.

    I must say that in combination with the other videos, this is one very interesting...story would be a way to put it about what it truly takes to get from a concept to a running model on someones layout. I know that the hobby has been under flak in recent years about the cost of some of these models and about where they are made. Seeing this really helps put everything in perspective. Thanks for the transparency about what it takes. Keep up the awesome work that your company as a whole does!

    Interesting how models of this quality are made. Rapido Trains are outstanding. Perfection and detail are the standard in this company. As a Railroad modeler and a RR fan, I appreciate very much this brand. Congrats to you at the helm of RT, Inc

    Hi Jason thanks for all your hard work on making sure us lucky modelers have the most accurate RDC in HO scale in my opinion ever made on this planet,my orders in for the Santa Fe set ...a dream come true Jason ;)

      During production we will certainly do a video. In the meantime the guys at Revolution Trains are the ones to talk to about a video. We're sending them a new sample today.

    I’m surprised that skids are not secured inside the container(at the end of the video). I hope it’s done before boarding.😊

    I look forward to the N scale Turbo train. It will look great beside the three GMD-1s in NAR scheme I have. Please hide more phaser sounds on the decodes, it was a nice touch and make wife bust a gut laughing lol. Cheers from Calgary.

    So nice to see all this people making our kits. How much would it cost to manufacture them here? Do you mind their working conditions as much as you care the quality of the trains? I would rather changing my hobby if not. Congrats for excellent work to all the team.

    If you look closely and quickly in the paint room, you'll see an old style TTC Fishbowl around 4:30 ish.

      Thanks, Jon! The best way to learn is to be here. You need to communicate, so you learn the words. I also keep discovering that words I learned are not actually used colloquially. So I have to relearn the correct word. - Jason

    Do they reload that container somewhere before it gets on the ship? No cribbing or airbags with the pallets in the middle? Nice looking models!

      That is just a delivery truck to take it to a customs inspection at port. It gets loaded onto a container there.

    Not so important that the printing error happened but important as to what you build into the process to prevent it from happening again.

      Definitely not like a native. I can get by, but my vocabulary is only a few hundred words. Every time I come it grows a bit, and having spent a total of five weeks in China this year means it's grown rather a lot. -Jason

    So how is the factory operating now with most of China shut down? Hopefully, your factory wasn't in the Wuhan city/province.

      Our factories are not in Wubei province, but we are still affected.

    I love Rapido Trains but the only thing is, why aren't they made in the USA!? Why can't we even make model trains in the US anymore!? This is crazy! All these Asians seem miserable! Why can we have a bunch of American men and women who love model trains, make these trains? I know plenty of people who would enjoy this job!

      Would you rather pay $500+ per model or $299? Cost of labour and parts etc etc would drive the cost through the roof.
