What a finish! Not only with that impressive duplex, but as well thanks to one of Nickelback's best tracks ever! Looking forward to CA-118!

+H Hoef Thanks! Just discovered that song, along with more Nickelback, definitely going to use more songs.

I remember when this corridor was a lot more desolate back in the late 80s/early 90s. Temecula was growing, but not quite as much as it did later on, along with Murietta. There was also a stoplight at Alessandro Blvd up there by March AFB for awhile IIRC

Finally fixed that interchange with 215/60/91. That was the bane of my existence for years.

+Regular Legs I'll have to look up what it was like before, along with the duplex prior to the improvements made around 2009 (I believe, from a previous video I saw). Seeing how the freeways have changed over time is quite interesting.

+rockersk08 It used to be a cloverleaf, a lot like the I-5/CA-55 interchange in Tustin was before I-5 was reconstructed in that part of Orange County in the early 1990s (the cloverleaf interchange was till there on my Grad Night trip to Disneyland in 1991). I only went through that interchange (the old 60/91/215 interchange) once, when my dad and I took a Greyhound bus from Las Vegas to San Diego in 1988, and it seemed antiquated then.

That old cloverleaf dated back to the very early 1960's... back when US 60, 91, and 395 was signed through the area.

Why do interstate 215 and California state route 60 travel concurrently for 5 miles between the ca 60/91 interchange in riverside and ca 60/215 interchange in Moreno Valley. Is it the formation of the valley that made California state route 60 and interstate 215 run concurrently between riverside and Moreno Valley?

Whoa! I thought for a moment there you were in the Central Valley instead of the Southland. LOL Good video.

+edgexxi I've been hearing that one. I haven't been on CA 99 a lot but I believe this one draws some similarities to it. I only wish I-5 in the Central Valley was six lanes, that would improve traffic flow. Thanks for watching!

Did you mean over-estimate battery instead of under-estimate battery (ie. It last for less time than you thought). a nice day for a drive, not a cloud in the video. Those California freewys just look so crazy busy to me. 😄

+Trans Canada Phil I could have said "under-estimate" for my battery needs, but since that trip was my first extended experience with the Nikon, I had no idea how quickly it ate up batteries. I'll watch my wording next time. L.A. is no joke with heavy vehicle usage but it's manageable.

Grizzly Slash! I have always liked that song! Maybe Squid Adler next time? ;) High energy song and seems appropriate for a "high-speed chasing" scene.
It is unfortunate that you did not get to record all of Moreno Valley Freeway. The Badlands part surely would have been a very memorable experience, especially for a first-timer like you.
How is your verdict of I-215? A little too flat maybe?

+American Roads I thought that song would get your attention (a bit more than Manic Bloom now) but I'm debating on other songs from that series. I wouldn't mind exploring the Badlands (seen in in your video) along with other highways of L.A., my coverage is still fairly small. I-215 was okay, I've seen more flat and mundane stretches, but I find it weird that the highway didn't have the typical eight lanes (let alone an HOV lane) of a SoCal freeway. I'm sure the widening improvement in Perris helped a bit though, need to see the finished product.
