Like the cut away when he “hit” the hare lol.
Also when he made the sling. I'm sure that rabbit came from petland no doubt . Lol
Iv seen many a wild hares reaction to people in my time
That thing was not wild and would be nowhere near him before he could get that “shot” in
The best bet would be to find the warren
Stole my comment

“Can’t find a water anywhere I’m dying “ all of em sudden a whole fking river lol tfrog
He has everything set up..fakest fake ever..ed Stafford
I dont care if the show is staged or not, but i always find it interesting him eating wierd things while enjoying so much.
its definitely staged
@@mikehunt3426”staged” as in there is a Team watching over Ed. Like the Bear Grylls show was definitely staged they throw the animals for Bear to find 😂
i think they do that for Ed too in certain shows or episodes. Otherwise a lot of those would end up in him failing and being really boring@@x-Abraham-x2
That was no hare, looked like a slow plump home bred rabbit.
Looks like a black tailed jackrabbit 🤷♂️
@@JAKENMK a jackrabbit is a hare
Yep...
Sitting a few metres from him and then that hit and tackle
Love all of the stuff he does but this was definitely bs
idk could be, but theres rabbits like that in the wild here in the north
I chased couple wild hares before and they don't run couple feet after you scare them, and they are not slow either, and you definitely cannot get that close to them as well.
You're chasing domesticated hare not a wild one
Depends we got these rabbits here that walk right in front of you and this is in the deep bush.
Hares are a different story. Our hares are essentially we kangaroos
I’ve caught rabbits by hand before plenty. But he didn’t kill that production killed that or planted it. Different size and color of the one he was originally chading
3:46 when you realize that you actually sink in quicksand very slow and actually takes effort to get thigh deep in 😂
Where I come from eating a hair pie has a totally different flavor.
Crazy how the hare changed colors too lol
Oh I thought I was just imagining shit
Its like watching an episode of swamp people. It shows like clips of fighting a huge gator but then when the gator is shot the water color is obviously different and when pulled into the boat its like 5 feet.
Lmao. The trusty figure eight sling shot technique most definitely killed the "Hare". Damn I use to love watching this dude, especially when he walked the entire length of the Amazon. Now im second guessing everything I respected about him.
Is it even possible to do a figure 8 and be accurate? Wtf.
Well, his own show is good… this show, he has cameramen and its not his show, so the help him a long the way.
i dont think this was his choice tbh
I love this guy. He is still my fav survivor t.v. show ever
I agree
I hunted rabbits once and you’ll never get that close to them like when they see u there zoomin out of there
Rabbit 1: "You see that human over there?"
Rabbit 2: "The one playing with plants?"
Rabbit 1: "Yes. What's it doing?"
Rabbit 2: " I don't know..but I wouldn't worry too much about it."
When you order Bear Grylls on the Wish App and this guy shows up.
Bear grylls could learn a lot from Ed Stafford, you should watch naked and marooned, will show you how Stafford or an actual survival specialist
I could tell you that is an absolute win. Bear teaches people the fundamental techniques on surviving using modern tools and knowledge. Ed, on the other hand, uses his knowledge he could think of using to literally thrive. Though both shows are sometimes staged, I still liked Ed Stafford over Bear Grylls.
Two frauds for the price of one 😅
Bear Grylls always has a Travelodge nearby. Ed is the real deal, my friend. A very cool and down-to-earth dude indeed.
@@arranboon1 No he is not. Just does not make it as obvious as Grylls.
Thats not a wild rabbit it's a home breed rabbit
@Mega Million64_ yeah it's a wild rabbit that's why a man can come so close to hit him and chase him .... 😂
Really is it? Like we couldnt understand from all the other comments saying the same thing
There is a difference between a haré and a rabbit
That hare was literally dead when he arrived that’s a readymade dead hare 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This was the fakest rabbit catck ever
The sad thing is it is a home raised rabbit and he killed it for the video
@Hridoy Ali then your an idiot wild rabbits are not easy to hunt they spend there entire life being hunted if they see you looking at them they will run out of there so fast and the one in the video was like 10 feet away from ed and on the last swing when he "killed" the rabbit you can see the rock hit the ground and dent the sand
@Hridoy Ali Look at the video again and 7min and 15 sec you will see the answer.
@Hridoy Ali that was implied in my comment its not wild its a home bred rabbit
I have layed on wild rabbit so
Love your courage man...
There is no way he did this slingshot himself 😂
Bunch of kids who’ve never spent a day outside playing nature guides
That rabbit was clearly placed there. No wild rabbit would let you get that close nor would it just trot away, slowly.
How the hell do you make a slingshot, actually find and nail a hare with the right velocity and accuracy, and then make a pie? I am one to believe improvisers but Stafford, tell me you didnt let the producers make any of this up for you?
be happy that he didnt run into an polar bear in the desert and made a birthday cake out of it lol
That quicksand bending was smart
I didn't watch the video but I just have to say that is such a nice thing to do, making a pie for a hare
So....... Have you watched it yet?
@@banana7558 No reply yet. Must be traumatized.
Cody Lundin punching the air seeing him drinking the water withought boiling it
The water is flowing, the risk of disease is very minimal when flowing. You should always boil stagnant/ still water sources, but flowing is usually safe without boiling
@@lewisglennie how does that work
@@billybobthelandlord2790 minerals from the surrounding rock
@@billybobthelandlord2790 Especially considering this in the middle of nowhere. The chance of contamination is low for a spring fed river.
Nice movie
Good programmes these but it amazes me that people really think these people are ever In danger, the support teams are always on follow up and the terrain is always checked out in advance, but it's great for survival ideas but they're never on their own, ever!
YOU GOT A BETTER CHANCE OF JUST THREW THE ROCK....HAHAHA
A wild rabbit would have heard you coming from a football field away and been gone
How can he drink water at 3:09? Some survivalists say don’t drink and boil first, others seem to drink whatever. What actually is the correct thing to do?
Drinking water without boiling it is always a risk, but some people simply don't care or are just desperate. But the "correct" thing to do is boil it first to kill any pathogens.
He magically had a cameraman on the later parts
Is this the same guy who miraculously found a coconut crab on an island when he was hungry
lol
A wild hare wouldn’t let you that close lol
There is no way he killed that hair with that sling
O my God!.....wow quicksand
I love how to bread is a perfect shape and is formed absolutely nothing like he layed it out lol
You’re magician dude
Ed is top
Great
good
I call BS on a lot things in this clip.
1. Just so happens to come across an oasis... I really don't think that was an accidental find.
2. Walking into the middle of "quick sand" when you could clearly walk around it... Why would anyone choose to walk in mud let alone the part that was obviously the deepest?
3. That hare was waaaaay too docile to be wild.
4. No way would you even be close to hitting a rabbit with that sling.
5. No way could you skin a rabbit that cleanly with that rock.
6. I don't believe for a second that the "flour" came from those cattails roots. It was way too clean and the only markings on it came from the rocks he was putting it on.
You clean a rabbit that good with just your hands
@@clayyoung6369 You are missing the point of their post.
The thing is, have you done these things yourself to back yourself up with physical evidence?
@@m.i.n.i I really don't need to pilot an x-wing fighter in order to know that Star Wars isn't real. People who don't know that reality tv is fake most of the time are just naïve.
You can skin a rabbit with your hands but yes everything else was BS
And why did they cut the scene when he
"Hit" the rabbit
@Śįr Múgęń ĮĮĮ I guess that's fair
@Śįr Múgęń ĮĮĮ it’s that and they planted a already dead rabbit and ofc they’re not gonna show that
or maybe they would rather not show the killing of an animal on tv?
@@biddlez8607 yes, but it takes away from the survival aspect of the video
The two rabbits' colors are not the same!
"I'm happy with that considering such and such" Universal for "not really as good as I was expecting."
All respect gone
this is like the wwe of survival shows
I like the survival aspect, but COME ON you those dry plants didn't just turn into a nice piece of string
Yes it does I’ve made a few handfuls of cordage with material like that
ua-cam.com/video/X3I_ele6Ums/v-deo.html
This is video showing how I did it and how Stanford did it too
@@kingofibex7276saw your vid pretty awesome
It’s actually someone else’s video but yeah
To be fair though when I was first figuring out how to make primitive cordage I had the same thought as your comment
And here we find the wild fake survivor man a more common animal than one expects. Just like Les told us
Love how staged these are. One second he's about to drown in quicksand as seen from the go pro on his hat then you see him from a camera on the ground. Then you see him finally get out with much struggling just to see that he doesn't have a go pro attached to his hat. Also how sometimes he's completely alone like the quicksand drowning and others he has a camera man like who ever was filming the sling section
He was using at least two cameras, a GoPro and another better quality camera with a flip-out screen which he was looking at his own image before looking in the lens, then there is the other cameraman or woman filming him, also a drone operator, an animal handler to look after the stunt bunnies, someone with some cooler boxes to store the dead rabbit and the perfectly skinned rabbit, someone with a lot of water, there is no way The Discovery channels insurance policy would let him drink unfiltered or untreated water, the water he was sipping on the ground would have come straight out of a container but made to look like a very small stream. with all these people and equipment there would need to be vehicles, probably a driver, local guide/fixer, this is China so probably a government official or two, with that many people there would be a base or hotel very near where there are catering facilities and toilets, either that or mobile facilities, he has plenty of people with him.
@@irampotter I'll be over here, watching some more survivorman episodes.
Please do an action/survival movie with Jason Statham.
why did they not show when he hit the wild hare
Because the common folk in England are soft as butter and can't handle the sight of death anymore.
No.. because it is fake shit
@@josephsherman5288 🤣
Because he didn't actually hit the hare. The one he "prepped" for cooking was already dead.
Dw guys that rabbit still alive he’s just a actor takin a part time job 😇😇😇😇
Continue Ed, you can do this ❤❤❤
The rabbit wasn't that far away, probably would've been better off just pegging a rock at it, but I get it, it's not as "cool" and doesn't show as many skills.
How he says
“Wotah”
And you say “Wader”
Is this before or after the goat, I'm new here !
Wtf, how'd he make the dough, I wanted to see that part
This guy looks like Macgruber!
Should have asked his camera crew if they had any water... 😅
I love how at 3:56 there's a go-pro attached to his head (look at shadow) and at 3:58 its gone. What kind of Sorcery is used here?
How about he put it down?
His 👖 was totally clean after sinking in the quicksand lo.
Here in the states its "Hair Pie". Lol
What a magic place...😍
Just interrogating myself what the camera man eats!
Some of the Fake already dead Rabbits he carry's around in his Backpack or the what the other Crew Members following close by on there ATWs bring. This show is as Fake as Grylls.
Look, there’s a hare 🤣🤣🤣
The internet is so toxic I was so happy today until I go into the comments. Curiosity kills the cat
The hare changed its hair
Is he ever meet the ghost? 😂
That looked like a tamed hare
Neve knew Jason Statham was a survivalist
1:27 who is taking these camera shots? I thought he was all alone.
I'm fond of a hairy pie also
He also happened to find a goat trapped in twine in an island
Lmfao... that type of hare isn't indigenous to that desert.... and even if it was .. it wouldn't b that fat n fluffy that time of year.... also wild hares are skiddish AF notice how they showed the hare running after his missed shot?? Look again its bearly speed walking ... that hare was planted there just for that scene unfortunately... but nice job I guess
Edit if u watch the directors cut of this episode it uses a wider shot of the throw that killed the rabbit ... u can see and hear that the rock hit the ground just off frame of this camera angle... u can hear it hit ground in this video
I have a feeling that “wild hare” was more “domestic bunny rabbit” from the local market
ive never seen this before. is it worth watching his videos??????
Definitely. Great survivalist
@@MrCheggers123 no its bs it takes years of practice with a sling, you don't just magicaly turn into robin hood it's total ass

But there’s a lot to enjoy in orher vid’s
You cant miss hitting a hare and have another chance to do so. You would even come close 😂😂that's clearly the rabbit you came with
Is the water safe to drink? I heard water in the wild must be purified even if it looks clearer because there are microbes but why is he confident that that is clean? 3:05
There’s no way he made a sling like that so fast let alone hit a hare with it. The skinned hare was also way too clean after he used a ROCK to skin it.
It also seems suspicious how the “flour” turned out so good.
Lost my respect after seeing how much of this is staged.
Man rabbits / hares are easy to skin off just a cut on the back and the skin comes right off
All you need is to break the skin and rips right off. I've hunted and cleaned alot of them. Easiest game I've ever had to skin.
Also you can see that he has cameramen in the scene where he uses the sling
@@marcosdominguez6413 obviously he has cameramen mate

Last time I ate a hair pie in the dessert I ended up with herpes. He makes it seem luxurious, maybe I was eating the wrong pie...
Wolves and cheetahs even have quite a hard time hunting wild rabbits because they're extremely fast and very alert of their surroundings. And this guys comes in with a slingshot within 10 feet, missing a couple of times and then just grabs it with his bare hands? Ok.
