There is a subset of Americans, like myself, who would love the opportunity to stretch a rifle out to 2 miles (or get behind a 375 CheyTac for that matter). I don't know if they offer that but a hunting package that has an ELR target day as an option would be mighty tempting. Even just a mile for most guys would be a bucket list opportunity. Gearing up for a 1mile with my TRG-42 soon myself. Lekker content as always!
Absolutely agree. I guide on an elk and bison outfit here in Idaho and where trying to set that up. We did have Gunwerks put this last year for a 1000 yd shoot. Finding a 2 mile spot can be tricky
Americans have it easy to shoot that kind of rifles, believe me, I'm from the EU and that kind of caliber is forbidden in some places. If you live in America you have not excuses to go and shoot a beast like that, take profit of that. I wish I could live there.
That opportunity exists! No hunting included but look up Nomad Rifleman based out of Jackson wyoming. They have a desert shoot with targets out past a mile. It’s a blast!!
Like with all the tools he is using to do it? At that point he is just the trigger puller. Keep in mind he never actually shows him hitting the target. But trust him, he did it.
oh my word! The landscape to the lodge, to the actual event is gorgeous! Everything about south Africa is exceeding my expectations! Could become on the bucket list of places to visit! Love it and congrats!
Truly an epic adventure. As a mid-west American, this is truly a dream of mine. Shooting 2 miles with 375CT is a goal of mine to acquire and achieve, let alone to do it in Africa. Bravo on the video sir.
I was staying for 3 days/nights at a small bed and breakfast in the Eastern Cape. It was on the property of Patensie Citrus Limited in Patensie. The owner proudly showed me his operation harvesting and packing citrus from his orchards. Then he took me up to his small game reserve and showed me his antelopes. He happened to mention that some of his best clients were Czechs, and that they liked to come shoot the animals from great distance. I don't know if they were 2 miles away but they were WAY FAR OUT. I didn't understand at the time what the attraction was for hunting like this. But having watched your video Pieter, now I get it.
Definitively the best caliber for ELR. At the King of One and Two miles in Canjuers, in south east of France, I think the 6 first place were using 375ct.
@@YuhNinja Yes sir! Not sure what suppressor it is, but they are the design basically tries to increase internal volume without needing to make it stick out further from the front of the barrel. So, it may be a 12" suppressor, and instead of adding 12" to the barrel, you only add 5" and still get the effective volume of a 12" can. Think the Otter Creek OCM5 (Same as the Allen Engineering AEM5).
Helo, IS... Where can I get this kind of music for youtube videos ? The first one is fantastic. Do you recomend some website I can sign up in order to get them ? Thank you.
Great shooting. Firstly, snakes aren’t poisonous, they’re venomous. Big difference. The inland Taipan is the world’s most venomous snake. However, the black Mamba is the most aggressive venomous snake. I am an ex game ranger and a gun enthusiast, and league shooter. Awesome video.
Is that a wireless chronograph next to you displaying the velocity? If so what brand/model is it, and how does it measure the velocity without the sticks like normal chronies?
Dear friend, as someone who has followed you from the very beginning, I feel free to write you a few things and I ask you not to blame me. First, I waited until the evening to watch this video because I didn't want to rush it. These are the videos I like to watch the most and I'm sure I'm not the only one - I believe that among your subscribers there are other shooters who are passionate about shooting steel, especially at very long distances. These are people who don't like hunting or are former hunters (like me) who enjoy LR, PRS and ELR "actions". Besides, people like me also like educational videos, like the ones you often pushed at the beginning of your UA-cam career. For example, we would also like to see testing of ammunition, different charges/loads, projectiles, groups at long distances, experiments, etc. Okay, we also watch your hunting actions, especially your performances at competitions, but we would even prefer (at least occasionally) to watch some test etc. In addition, keep in mind that new people are constantly investing in this sport, hobby or whatever (as in any other), and many things that have become routine to us are unknown to them. In the hope that you will not get angry 🙂, because I was completely well-intentioned, warm greetings from your colleague Ledeni (Iceman) from Serbia.
Great idea for a video.. You night have the only two miles shot video.. Of only you captured the hits... Africa 👍 looking forward to your next video... Talk about the rifle used and ammo
63 mil up sounds like alot for a 375 ctac? With my 37xc i would need something like 46 mils 🤔 What bullets and what speed, and how much does coriolis affect the elevation down there so close to the equator?
With a 390 A-tip at just shy of 2800fps, 63 mils is about right. Relatively mild load, but keep in mind the Tormento has a 30” barrel - it’s not the model designed around the KO2M (that would be their sporting line with the 38”)
becky did briefly got to the pysch ward though, cause i wont talk to her anymore, i think she went to steal some ideas for me though, for 1 more chance ranch cause im gonna have a pysch ward inside of it also
While I am impressed by the Cheytac375 Performance. I am hitting my target here on the Ranch in Montana consistently at 1 mile. With my Omen Watchman 300 Win. Mag. As I reload my own ammunition I have found very little change in accuracy. 1 mile is more then plenty range.
I love ELR. I have done the Long Range Shooters of Utah Mill jug challenges where you shoot a 1 gallon milk jug at 1000, 1200, 1500, and 1 mile or 1750 yards. With a Ruger Precision 6.5 PRC. I would absolutely love to attempt any 2 mile or longer shots. At some point just need a more capable rifle and range.
Nice shooting. The bipod should not be attached to the top rail, only the bottom. It looks like it would interfere with the line of sight from the scope as much or more as the suppressor. jmo
Absolutely awesome!! Is the 7mm rem mag yours? I have one and I feel it’s not very common so very interested in seeing videos on one. Much love from NZ
Imagine having money to buy a $5000 rifle, $500 of ammunition, and take time off work to shoot it on another continent
Where is he from... Sounded south African
@@antoochibbo1355yep Yarpie.
lol that rifle is a lot more than 5k
That is a 10k rifle here in the EU
He is South African and Namibia is our neighboring country.
The sound it makes echoing the valley is majestic
The Burger King commercial kind of broke up the mood of serenity while showing the overview of the land, LOL. Great work as always!

I agree! I’ve been able to stretch out my rifle out to 880 max so far
what about in great salt lake
That opportunity exists! No hunting included but look up Nomad Rifleman based out of Jackson wyoming. They have a desert shoot with targets out past a mile. It’s a blast!!
Your ability to read the environment and make precise shots is amazing.
Like with all the tools he is using to do it? At that point he is just the trigger puller. Keep in mind he never actually shows him hitting the target. But trust him, he did it.
I don't know what's cooler, the lodge, or the truck. Awesome trip, and 2 mile notch in the belt!
LIFE
CheyTac is the best long range rifle ever. They keep improving this monster.
"At this distance you'll also have to take the Coriolis effect into account" 😂
Said Mark Wallpaper as Shooter
😂😂 shhhhhhh don't tell them why it's bullshit 😂😂
It can cause him to miss left by up to 12ish inches…Yeah, it matters at 3500+ yards.
This hasn't been proven nor disproven if you read US military research.
I'll bet dude is leading the target at 2 miles, which you wouldn't do unless things are moving..
The sound of the gun is just awesome
That brake absolutely tames the 375 Chey Tac. 👍👍
oh my word! The landscape to the lodge, to the actual event is gorgeous! Everything about south Africa is exceeding my expectations! Could become on the bucket list of places to visit! Love it and congrats!
This is Namibia, South Africas neighbour country. Don't book the the wrong ticket😂
Sooooooo much of Africa could be this way if mankind would not be inhabiting it.

Bc his clients are Czechs mil snipers. Shooting a moving antelope at a distance is practice…. No I’m not joking.
The roar of that beast rolling across the savanah was one of the most godly sounds i have ever heard in my life. What an experience.
Barret MRAD ELR 416 vs Cheytech M200 375 408 vs Sako TRG 62a1 which is better and more powerful and precise?
Mark&Sam after work…best in the business

5:29 timestamp, I thought I saw mufasa holding simba on that rock ledge a moment before you guys arrived.
😂
Can you do a breakdown on the rifle, optic, mounts and ballistic info? That is pretty awesome set up
I am super curious what the frame/action was
Long range shooting... Cheytac... Namibia... this is just epic haha
The music with the shots of animals was spot on. Love that rifle too
My buddy just shot out to 500 yards with good results. 2 miles is mind blowing to me. Keep up the good work
2500 yards is 1.4 miles.
2:47 lol that rhino’s like “what’re you looking at”
I can't get over how little the gun recoils. It's nothing short of amazing really
What did two miles do to you 0:25
What causes the whistling of the suppressed 375? I love the noise it makes and I'd love to find a smaller caliber can that makes a similar noise.
The suppressor on the 375 cracks me up! It's huge!
I dont really get why half of the suppressor is more like a shroud (behind the end of the barrel) . I wonder if gasses even go to the back part of it.

@@siconic21 that's dope. Thanks for the response
That's what she said
Since with long shots you have to take the Coriolis Effect into account, would firing long range be easier at the piles and harder on the equator?
Seeing this caliber more and more. No doubt it has possibly the world highest BC if any other bullet made ... It's the king of the 2 mile King club.
How many UN blue helmets will that cheytac penetrate? Asking for a friend
What matters is the value we've created in our lives, the people we've made happy and how much we've grown as people.

What are the giant poles around the lodge for????? I assume.....shot locators? For poachers???
Cell signal 📶
@IMPACTSHOOTING ahhh makes sense! Guess the obvs answer is always the answer! I was readin way too far into it.

Beautiful country out there! Looks like the trip of a lifetime.
If we have a straight guy shooting, does it improve the accuracy?
Is that a wireless chronograph next to you displaying the velocity? If so what brand/model is it, and how does it measure the velocity without the sticks like normal chronies?
It’s a Garmin Xero C1 Pro Chronograph … basically the new standard in the industry
I can't believe it still has any significant energy 3500 yards out. I feel like you should be able to catch it with a gloved hand.

how do you travel with a sniper rifle? is it the same paperwork as a handgun?
I think the travel time of the bullet is about 8-9 seconds... It's amazing to watch man !
Go watch the guys shooting 4 miles. That is like 22 seconds
reminds me of that one mission from COD 2019 with Farah on the rooftop. absolutely bonkers shooting lads!
What are the quick release clips you have mounted to your back pack shoulder straps?
Can you guys give the exact rifle brand/model and the model of the Nightforce scope please?
Victrix Tormentum, night force atacr
Why use a mag fed rifle if you load the rounds individually?
Any breakdown of the gun, and load out on that rifle?
Anyone know why no one uses the mag on most of these long shot videos? I mostly see them single load each round.
Inland Taipan is the most deadly snake with the most toxic venom. One strike could take out 100 humans. Black Mamba isn't too far behind though!
Rocking the Warrior Poet merch! Nice!😎 keep the videos coming!🤙🏼🔥
In this life I'll never be able to see real sniper guns, only in movies and youtube I enjoy. Wish I get an empty case as a souvenir 😊
isn't there an auto adjust scope, with distance drop and wind?
I think there's several, but I know for sure that Burris makes one.
Absolutely amazing. You have a wonderful life. And a beautiful family. What you can see in your video.
Good instincts usually tell you what to do long before your head has figured it out.
It's almost impossible to find a review on that Victrix - can you do a review on it especially if you have a sniper friend
How can you carry that gun and ammo in the commercial flight?
What's the bullet height over line of sight for a shot like that ?
I put ALL my long rifles on MDT! Them chassis are straight gold.
Great idea for a video.. You night have the only two miles shot video.. Of only you captured the hits... Africa 👍 looking forward to your next video...

Hallo Pieta. Nog n great video. Is that Peregrine bullets you're shooting with?
What Suppressor was on the victrix? Who makes it?

Is a 375 Cheytac also called a Snipetac? or is it a different cartridge to a Snipetac?

you could have put a camera next to the target to see the splash, or zoom in to the target from where you were
You should always wear safety glasses so the scope doesnt hit your eye. Just curious what are you guys shooting at ?
How many distance are here ?
What do you have sitting on the left side of the gun?
