In addition to being one of the most in-demand horn players and musical arrangers in the country, he was also there from day 1 of the legendary Blues Brothers. For those who might not know, the Blues Brothers band was one of the most amazing collections of Veteran musicians ever assembled. They didn't start at Carnegie Hall by accident.

This is absolutely great, I'm born and raised in Joliet and really loved seeing the band perform at the last Blues Con at the old Joliet Prison. It was incredible with immense talent and side splitting laughter. 💙😎💙

Did a great interview with him. He actually told me that same story about how it all started for the band. Great teacher. His love of music can be shown in his love to teach young people about music
