Back in the day women trousers always had a side zipper. I learned this when I was reading a novel for school. In the book they discribed a woman and a verry important detail was that she had a front zipper. I had to ask my mom what was so special about a front zipper.
WHAAAT!? Jeans?! Mind blown! You look great in them though. Vintage jeans; you could grow to love them.
I have a friend who got a degree in fashion, she was telling me how utterly arbitrary sizing is. It really drove her nuts. And she's Israeli which means we heard about it A.LOT. ❤️
My lovely mother, who pasted 5 years ago at 82, refused to wear trousers, because she said my father, who pasted away years before, hated them on women, my father was lovely as well so I know he wouldn't have minded, but she just couldn't wear them, sweet I think, I and my siblings were very lucky in the parents department. Great video by the way and great site. Thank you.

Where are you based Lauraphoid? I've only ever seen this buckle in Asia, very excited if I can get them in the UK...
It's the other way around in Asia, all we have are shoe strap clips. You know something is imported if the buckle actually does work to strap the shoes! :)
Some ballroom dance shoes also have those types of buckles! Try the Capezio or Bloch brands.

I have total movement of my fingers and still hate the tiny buckles. Its so hard to bend to where u can see the buckle and still do it up. The side zippers on shoes are the worst.

My croc heels do the buckle clip in thing. I like that bit as well as the comfortable wedge heel.

Lol I wear only dresses and skirts partly for the same reason! Also I just love to dress in dresses and skirts! It’s kinda just my style so deal with it pants lovers! I tend to joke “im not going to wear pants!” which freaks people out ha ha. “ you have to wear pants! Are you crazy!!!” Lol then I say “I’ll wear a skirt.” And I get a lot of reactions of relief! Also l, you’re adorable!
Likely the least relevant comment here, but it's so funny your mentioning chopsticks. I'm dyspraxic and always had trouble with forks! Chopsticks were a revelation. They're so much easier for me to use. Now I feel compelled to look into why...

Ooh those trousers look super cute on you! Can you do a video how you keep your weight down? I struggle to keep my weight low because of my fatigue I eat healthily and do yoga but still struggle so I'd love to know how you keep your figure so good

She really can't eat anything that has any kind of bad fat in it! I am sure that has a lot to do with it. No sugar, no carbs, no gluten, etc.

I think it's funny that she doesn't like pants/trousers because they rub together. That's exactly why I wear them. If I wear a dress, my thighs rub together making sore places on both. It's nice to have the fabric between them. Of course, I'm fat as hell. So there's that.
Try wearing stockings with thigh "control" or bike shorts, if you're in a hot place like here in Florida, underneath. Also apply your stick antiperspirant to your thighs wherever they touch (works for belly folds too) to decrease friction and prevent heat rashes. Don't use baby powder, it's not good for you and tends to clump and make it worse.
