I really like what he said "Self Sufficient" it feels to me that he just lives very simple, no headaches from cities, no bad days on job and less opponents. I think I must live this way too, alone and self-reliant. Good Video.
You're from Niobrara??? I'm from Stuart, and now I recognize you! And now I don't feel bad that you CREAMED me in cross country and track! haha, jk, it was obvious you trained hard back then too. I'm glad to see it's paid off! I love your message. Moving in the mountains is my favorite thing to do as well. I hope to cross paths someday.
Damn...pretty cool...just starting watching this and I can almost hear the harmonicas in the hills.... What a cool trail running place this is... Bagpipes..my Groucho Marx word...DNA-Irish/Scottish, maybe me Lucky Day to find this channel before my.....woods trail run.
Its been interesting following the evolution of Tony over the years- Although I appreciate him as an athlete and unique individual, I wouldn't be happy with his lifestyle- I guess I've always thought, would I be happy if everyday was vacation? Curious to hear others opinions on this-
incredible guy, pushing a sport which gives ppl confidence. hell of a hard job! we need ppl like him to deveolp our limits... those who think different should try it out, seriously. what a whole bunch a crap ppl come up with here...
Ryan b Those are the flat irons in Boulder where he lives and trains. You can follow everything he does on Strava. He Gives purpose almost everyday towards training and can inspire anyone in any goal. Run.Smile.Breathe
Thanks man, I gotta go check that place out some day. Yea he seems like a wise/thoughtful dude. Nice Alaska vid by the way - just gotta get over some back injuries and hopefully I can start doing that sort of stuff too. Have a good one
Really cool. But how do you make a living running alone in the wilderness? Sponsors? Also please go see a heart doctor after so many years with insane cardio fitness, it takes it's toll.
Cool video, but I was really hoping for something new. Some kind of new perspective or achievement or something. Felt kind of like "just another Tony K" video. Bummer.
Cool video, but I have a hard time listening to life philosophy from a single guy with no "job" and few responsibilities. Good for him that he chose this life for himself. He's a great runner and hard worker, but he is far removed from the realities of everyday life for 99% of the population. Nothing wrong with that. But it is what it is.
"Difficult" could be defined many ways. Obviously, his life involves extreme physical exertion; however, he lives a life of recreation, essentially. He likes to "get in the mountains everyday". Well, so do a lot of people but they have to go to work to put food on the table.

Anton Krupicka, un homme libre...
Always an inspiration watching him. Love that his persona can expand beyond more than just running.
I Love his simplicity ... Hes Soooo Calm .

If they ever make a live action Zelda Anton will have to be the running man from Hyrule.
Rad. Anybody know the name of the track around the the 8:05min cut?
If you find the track, please let me know! thanks!
Hi, this is Matteo Vettorel, the producer of the film. The music has been composed specifically for the film, so there is no track name, sorry.
+SMFuel Wow Matteo! Congrats on the film and the music! Meraviglioso! E se un giorno lo caricano online e si puo acquistare, fammi sapere!
There's a close sounding track called 'Intro' from The XX. I run to it.
Someone could Tell which place and mountain that is? Thanks
Does anybody know what the song is at 5:30?
Does anyone know where the place is that he was scrambling at 11:45 ? Looks like it could be in Yosemite..?

Jason Kroll are u serious
I am. Are you?
You're totally right, however the lifestyle choice he made is not any less difficult than that of an average Joe's. I bet he's alone most of the time.
"Difficult" could be defined many ways. Obviously, his life involves extreme physical exertion; however, he lives a life of recreation, essentially. He likes to "get in the mountains everyday". Well, so do a lot of people but they have to go to work to put food on the table.
