What a women! Full on admiration 😘 Susie helped me come back to running from Long Covid! Literally got me running again on my treadmill and back out on the paths! Forever grateful ❤
Susie is an incredible woman and ambassador for the sport. I so pleased for her that she battled through some epic tough moments to cross the finish line. Just wow! This documentary captures the raw emotion of Badwater perfectly, it's the best finish line in the world.
She’s so amazing and our hero! I was part of the Susie Striders run we did and it felt like we were really helping her… somehow even just a few miles at home but doing it together all over the world. I followed obsessively during the race here in Canada. So proud of Susie, I cried when she finished, that struggle looks unimaginable.
She is strong amazing Susie, I learned alot from you thank got giving blessing to us mean alot courage to put mind about running long distance many miles along 135 badwater❤ I loved peloton so much I done over 600 classes cycling even more future nonstop and plus before that I done 84 marathons what learned from this lady bad ass ultra long hard badwater let such my hero inside my heart and soul even bigger. Absolutely Incredible! As just a mom from Kentucky you've really inspired me to keep going after the races I have in my mind that I'd love to do someday and to go for it. Still a newer runner and training for my first full. So inspired by where consistency and showing up for yourself can take you. Thanks for sharing your story ❤
Don’t know anything about her and not a peloton user but I know this race and it’s INSANITY. This short video was incredibly inspirational. Makes me feel like I need to complete something like this. Makes you want to live. Feel the real pain but also otherworldly joy at the finish. The achievement that not so many have been able to feel. Congratulations to you.
An amazing video and journey. Congratulations. I’ve ridden my bicycle through a portion of that course during my Race Across America. It was hard on my bicycle. I can understand how much harder that was running. I remember Watching the sunrise after riding all night was a rebirth. Running all night is next level badass. As you said, positive attitude, training, and teamwork is the magic multiplier for success. Well done.
I watched this on my Peloton Tread and it was amazing!! This is what running is about to me. Not about times or even distances. But accomplishment, support for each other, being vulnerable and willing to try!! ❤
As an ultra runner and running content creator myself, I love all of this! I have run 2 ultra marathons on a treadmill (One I lived streamed on my UA-cam channel), i would love to do one on a Peloton! I am in the market for a new treadmill, ever tried a Peloton, it may be time to switch up.
Suzy is amazing watched break a WR on a treadmill, watched her do the Sahara desert race and she is a local girl to me. Inspired ❤ Anyone say Barkley marathon 😂
Great video this. Starting running at 36 and then inspiring others is powerful. What a star and personality. 👏. Unfortunately I don't think I'd ever get chance to do this race. 😔. I've ran since I was 11 (36 year's ago). Gotten faster last 2 year's through my mindset of telling myself I can. Sometimes I feel like I'm one of the fastest truck drivers around. If only the young knew what they do now, their older self will thank them for it. Stay fit, don't let yourself slip into obesity.
