Hahaha, I bet he's gonna chew her out for spilling that they're in real estate. They intentionally didn't sign while they "looked for their dream house" with their "boat company". Sometimes trying to show off just shows that you're grimy.
Some Clarifications. They spent $0 dollars. on renovations. They did help with some painting and their son helped me install flooring in Master Bedroom.
I got a land line because I make frequent long distance calls and long distance calls are really cheap with a land line. Aside from saving tons of money, my answering machine screens all of my calls, including our east indian pals who always call to warn me that I'm behind on my taxes, or that suspicious charges have been made on my Amazon Prime account ( I don't have an Amazon Prime account ) so I only pick up if it's a legitimate caller, otherwise their spam calls just get deleted.
Same here…only with me I’m going to jail if I don’t give the Medicare “company’ my SS number. Lol I always let them know Medicare doesn’t cold call ppl…i winder though how many older ppl they scare into giving them info. It makes me livid.
Judges: There are robocalls, and there are also individuals who can pay for your information. I saw this myself when I put my cell phone number in Google search and saw right there some of my old addresses and phone numbers, as well as people associated with me. People can pay to get your information, which should be illegal. So it doesn't necessarily mean that when people keep getting back to back calls that it's a bill collector.
The defendant keeps quoting the 'unsigned' lease agreement, but if it's unsigned, then it's as good as if it doesn't exist. And the real-estate plaintiffs have no excuse, they should have known better...

No ads for us with the UA-cam subscription. It's totally worth it. Some of the ads are so random some are too sexual. My kids sometimes borrow my phone and I didn't want them listening to that mess
in Canada, we also have do not call lists. Since many companies here have outsourced their calls to India, they just let ppl call anyways, on the list or no. They know that the RCMP aren't going to travel to INDIA to punish ppl who call those on a do not call list.
I recommend watching Pierogi (scammer payback) here on UA-cam. His videos are so satisfying. He calls the India centers and deletes their files while on the call. He has helped bring down several centers.
Also if you look them up, they've sued many people, many times and to the best of my knowledge, never won a dime. I only counter sued to make it more interesting! Since it was Peoples Court!!

Are they real Real Estate agents??? And, "handshake agreement" was thrown out there a few times 🙄 This is the life of the so called rich and infamous in Florida 🤣🤣🤣
Why would you spend all that to improve someone else's property, and have no lease to boot? They knew the significance of that. Real estate agents... Real crafty.
The plaintiffs didn't sign the lease because as JM said, they thought they would have an advantage (i.e., landlord couldn't hold it over them). However, this certainly came back to bite them. The defendant is just a bonehead for giving the plaintiffs the keys without getting their signatures on the lease 🙄.
Lousy on all sides. No lease. No proof. I would say zero for both sides. Just be happy tenants left early. Both sides need to Let it go. Now both parties have mistakes attached to their businesses. 1 star ratings
I had a case like this with Julie Anne Shaffer a former law society president and a so called woman of the law in Queensland Australia .All she did was use the plaintiffs blatant perjury and lie her teeth out against me .Talk about trailer trash.
Nothing beats ownership of your very own home. I've been on both sides of this and there is no substitute that I can think of for having your own home. Aside from your body, it's the only other thing that you own and vehicle.

Adrian, again you have said in past comments that your Mummy bought you your house outright. You've never saved for a deposit, you've never paid a mortgage payment.
I'm considering a large purchase, which to figure out size and quality I can afford, I had to allow the loan rep to run my credit. THE VERY NEXT DAY, I got 14 calls from other loan agencies wanting to go over my credit and figure out if they could get me a better deal. I decided to have fun with it, and when I saw a caller ID that indicated a loan company or spam call, I would answer with, "CONGRATULATIONS! You're caller #(X)!" and listen to them fumble a bit before they got back on track with their sales pitch. Then I would cut them off and end the call.
Clarifications on lease: I presented them the lease multiple times, they never signed, but also never said they didn't agree with terms. Had no feedback. I presented to them again, still never signed. As a landlord of 36 years, I just let it go month to month as Marilyn says.
Plaintiffs are Real estate agents? They knew EXACTLY what they were doing. They knew everything needed a paper agreement. They deserve nothing.
I have only watched half of it and agree with you
That would explain why they ‘had a hard time finding a place’- scammers!
I would never put that kind of work/money in a house that wasn’t mine. I would just live with it until I found something else.
NO lease, illegal biz out of the house.....those plaintiffs sound REALLY shady!
well you know Eminem isn't the only real slim shady
Plaintiffs read the lease and were not willing to abide by it: had son move in and ran business out of home. That's why they wouldn't sign it.
If the Plaintiffs are real estate agents I would steer clear of them, they clearly have no idea how real estate works.
