A Starfleet ship that can be in three places at the same time. And can gang up on the bad guys ship all by it's self. I just wish we got to see more of it on screen.
You and me both!
Me three! ❤❤❤@@TriAngulumAudioStudios
Indeed!
I love that the ship so called survived until the 26th century During the Battle of Procyon V!
The Prometheus really gave the Romulans a good fight after the end of the episode Message in a bottle.
Indeed it did! :)
Other than the Sovereign class, the Prometheus Class has been my favorite. Such a cool looking ship with amazing capabilities. I agree with others here that I wish it was shown on screen more duking it out with enemy ships. Showing the reasons it is held in such high esteem for over two centuries.
One of my all-time favorite ship classes!
It seems that the Prometheus Class had outperformed the Excelsior Closs by Speed and Longevity.
When I first saw her in 'Message in a Bottle' episode, I instantly fell in love with that ship.
In my fanfic, a Prometheus Class variant was produced during Peace which redesigned the secondary hull so the ship only splits in two rather than three which allowed more room for laboratories and scientific equipment to allow the ship to carry out peaceful exploration deep into unknown space with an experimental Slipstream Drive.
The imagination of fandom! :) Well done!
Me too...On STO, my first character has EVERY varaint of that ship, especially the Terran one!
This is one badass starship
Amen!
I like the bright design of the interior. This is a truly productive work atmosphere. Not such a dark atmosphere as we see it in new trek.
Such a unique and interesting design.
I think so too!
Thank you for featuring my favorite class.
You're very welcome, you know I made it just for you ;)
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios so sweet 😉
In my buddy’s Star Trek campaign, I’m in command of the Prometheus Herself, with all the upgrades, technological upgrades and improvements, and She truly is one badass ship!!
Love the Prometheus! GREAT VIDEO👍🏾
Thank you!!
Another great story and ship.love it.❤
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
One of my favorite ships
It's a nice ship!
I love this ship i have it in star trek online
Love it too!
This ship is WILD in STO.
You do a great job weaving a story. I appreciate it.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
Love the Prometheus Class. and very Awesome video
You and me both! Thanks Dom!
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios yes 🙌

Niice, when's the big reveal? ;)
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios can make I Video
Ty for the video and LLAP!
You're very welcome!
For me, the best class ever.
I love it too!
As always awesome video.
I thought the Prometheus was a bold move. It was awesome to see the Prometheus separate into three sections and even having the primary section with the bridge having its own nacelle and warp core. That's the first time we ever saw the main section have a warp core like that.
I think they had the Ross class with the saucer having warp capability.
Also the fact when the EMH Doctors use the three sections after the EMH Mark II accidentally activated multi-vector assault mode all three sections were single handed to destroy a Romulan D'derix class of all classes the ship.
The Prometheus class makes me think star fleet missed a trick with the galaxy class, a battle soccer keeps them in storage and swaps them out
Excellent entry 👍👍
Thank you kindly
such a great design and such a shame we havent seen it on screen since voyager
Agreed!
The Prometheus class is something else. Another reason to join Starfleet.
Lol absolutely!
Nice vid, as always.Thx for upload
No problem! Im glad you enjoyed it!
I wonder what a confederation take on the Prometheus would look like
It's EMH need a shrink. 😂😅
🖖
I think Venom Geek Media was overly harsh with this class. What's wrong with being a little dramatic with this design.
I loved this ship the moment I saw that diamond shaped primary hull.
When I first saw this ship in Star Trek Voyager I thought it can separate into three parts? This class should not be taken lightly.
You and me both Eric!
I can’t help but wonder what if voyager had been one of those.
one Starfleet Officer could control it or 2 Holograms!!
Lol or even 1 with a big a$$ to accidentally sit on the consoles! :P
true lol
This class starship's longevity is got to do with the quality of the design of the class starship's spaceframe.
And it's performance!
Yayy
These ships must be ghost towns. 140 crew for a ship 400+ meters long? You would never see anyone. Same applies to the Galaxy Class. Doesn't make sense to make these ships so big if nobody is on board.
Remember it can accommodate families, dignitaries, troops, and extra personnel so it has to be half empty! ✅✅✅ Trust me there was plenty to do on those starships, boredom would not settle in! 🎯🎯🎯
The Prometheus class always seems like a Star Fleet rich guy’s yacht.
While Multi-Vector Assualt Mode is a pretty cool idea and I think it's totally awesome, I can't help but feel that IRL it would be a very situational gimmick.
These are my personal thoughts, but the only mission I can see the Prometheus a viable use for is something along the lines of an unsupported special forces reconnaissance/strike deep within enemy territory. That way it's ridiculous offensive and defensive capabilities and being able to turn into a small fleet makes some sense. Everything else it feels pretty overkill for.
My other issue is that, whether it's essentially an Intrepid that can split into three Sabers or three Sabers crammed into the volume of an Intrepid, it seems like a rather inefficient use of internal space for how densely packed all the equipment has to be (even with all the redundancies).
first!
Congratulations!!!
Though the multi vector assault mode was the crowning achievement, it was a deadend feature that (on screen at least) never seemed to trickle down to any other ship. If anything, it's the automation system that got dialed up to 11 that would leave a lasting legacy within Starfleet.
This is actually a false assumption on your part given that A) The Class lasted far longer than any other and B) Just because we havent seen others like it, doesn't mean there isnt or wasnt... And on top of that, it could be that the class performed SO well, no others classes like it were necessary!
@TriAngulumStudiosAudioComics
That's why I stated that we haven't seen this based on on screen appearances. But one thing we do see at least are ships that can be manned by just 1, the La Sirena. Sure she's small, but she is a civilian ship.
But my assumption is also based on a bit of logical thinking. The Prometheus should also be a bit of a resource hog to keep such a feature standard. 3 seperate ships that can operate independently would need more raw materials just for the skin itself. Add to that the weapon systems, added independant computing apparatus and supports, a dedicated warp core, and fuel. It's still 3 separate ships at the end of the day. And the main functionality is limited to combat applications. It may not be a useful feature for a peacetime Starfleet.
Sorry, but again your logic is flawed... To create a class like this really doesnt require any more resources than normal IE 3 separate smaller warp cores take the same amount of resources as 1 large warp core!
I read in the tech files that this class was supposed to have an installed cloaking device.
No, as that would have been against the Treat of Algeron!
How a team of romulans hijacked the ship easily still confused me
Careful planning
Curse you romulans
I still think Sisko should have gotten this ship after the Defiant was destroyed.
100% Disagree! As the DS9 was defined by the Defiant, and so it made FAR more sense for Sisko (and the series) to receive another Defiant Class rather than a ship from Voyager!
Theory: The Prometheus-class was a Section 31 ship. It checks all of the right boxes to be something they would have created.
Sorry, canon has already dispelled that idea!
Does trek beta canon still consider all ships witnessed by Archer through the window at the Battle of Procyon V as having originated from that era? Archer was brought there from the past by a time agent. Why do we not expect that the other ships seen weren't also plucked our of their own timeline and brought to plat their part the battle?
Because Archer was witnessing a specific battle, being the only thing plucked through time! It would be no different if a time traveler picked you up and took you to the Battle of Stalingrad in WWII, you wouldn't say, "well the tanks used were from the 1980s"
i do wonder how someone make models for space engine
There are many tutorials online out there!
Next do the Confederation NX class
If I ever do it, It wont be for a long time!
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios Fair enough
This ship feels like it was designed by a 12 year old.
Lol no it doesn't... But the good designs ALWAYS look easy to make! 😉
I believe the Prometheus is a flawed powerhouse. Because it has to split into 3, instead of covering all the blindspots and ensuring power for all of it's weapons, it has to provide firepower and energy for 3 when it splits up. You also make yourself vulnerable if the main warpcore gets breached if that part gets destroyed, especially when the saucer section no longer provides cover and protection for that warp core.
Uhhhh, each section has it's own Warp Core, thus making your argument moot...
One of the single stupidest concepts for a starship ever seen in Trek. It's a fan-boy's wet dream.
100% Disagree!
Id love to see the Confed version
Lol look at you challenging me :P lol
I always thought it should have been the trinity class. Three into one.
No, the Prometheus Class is FAR more fitting, being the Trickster God and the God of Fire!
@TriAngulumStudiosAudioComics yeah, but he was cast out for giving fire to mankind.
And? That still doesn't change what he was the God of and is 100000000 times better than Trinity lol That is way to basic! Especially considering how much he helped humankind!
@TriAngulumStudiosAudioComics and the trinity is also a religious symbol that far exceeded the followers of Greek mythos.
Sorry but your incorrect about that as well... Prometheus came LONG before the Trinity... Prometheus 650 BC, the Trinity 325 CE , so about 1000 years before it... Do a simple google search and see. Also you chose Trinity because "Three into one," your words, again very basic, far to basic to be honest! I See 3 things so lets call it trinity LOL Whereas the Prometheus is a far more fitting name, given the fire power of the vessel and the god Prometheus giving fire to humanity... So sorry, but you got nothing with your idea except a very basic and unfitting name! And as you can see, everyone agrees with me!
