All I recall is that this group had some very smooth dance moves..as well as sounding just like their records. Back in the day...groups would have a studio band to back up....and the Impressions gave a beautiful live performance. Can't remember the year, but this was played on WJLB on the r&b station in Detroit....Smooth!!!

TheRAREGROOVEMAN Reggie may have been there but Leroy Hutson was their 1st lead after Curtis, when Leroy left in 73 Reverend Johnson lead “Finally got myself together, Sooner or later and something else I can’t remember🤔 You can hear Ralph’s flavor on all his leads🎼 You go to Wikipedia and they got both Ralph Johnsons’ as one & the same(Earth Wind & Fire and The Impressions) I seen EW&F 3 times and their Ralph Johnson play drums I don’t even think he sung background😳 Nevertheless Reverend Johnson (Not general may have mixed that up with General Crook)) was mad nice👍🏻
