True. Tony Atlas version makes more sense. Even when Paul told the story all he said is one of us ended up in the hospital but not going into detail of how he ended up in the hospital.

Atlas said nothing about “Fried chicken”. He said he had barbecued ribs.
You're right I had it confused because when he worked for Great North Wrestling last year he was making a big deal about wanting Fried Chicken and we were in a small town that didn't have any places for it.
Blair may have talked himself into an @$$-whooping as Atlas seemed genuinely angry about this recounting.
At 6:16 you can totally tell he's lying as he pauses to make the story up as he goes along.
I call bullshit on this whole story. Tony's telling the truth.
Regardless of how the story went, if there was ever a fight between those two, I promise you Orndorff won it.
I don't know who was telling the truth, but sometimes it's easier to tell a lie that you've memorized than it is to remember details of something you witnessed. Especially if the liar has had practice telling the story many times. People say that liars get caught because their story changes, but that isn't always the case. Someone who is a good liar with a good memory can maintain the same story and come off as more believable than an honest but nervous, awkward person.
For example, if you ask me what I had for breakfast last Tuesday, you may think that I was lying because I tend to look up and to the right when remembering details. The notion that looking up and to the right signals deceit has been debunked, but some people still believe it.
Tony Atlas just said in the interview with Hannibal Paul said" what the blank is that smell?" He replied "dims my barbecue ribs" was not chicken according to Tony Atlas
I am not buying Blair's story. Paul spits a piece of Tony's ear in the air and Tommy Rich freaks out and runs over and grabs his ear. Then he recounts the sweat pants he was wearing, cmon.
Paul was a mean sob though. Saw him wrestle John Stud in Toronto and Bobby Heenan, who was managing Stud jumped in the ring to double team Orndorff. A fan went nuts and jumped the barrier and ran into the ring and tried to drop kick Bobby Heenan. Orndorff jumped up in a split second and started putting the boots to this guy while Stud and Heenan stood there and watched. He literally kicked him from one side of the ring to other and right out on to what was a concrete floor back then. The guy was taken out on a stretcher.
The funniest part of the whole thing was Bobby Heenan just stepped out of the way of the flying drop kick and the guy completely missed him.
W BB Sounds like an ungrateful bastard as well. That guy was just trying to help even the odds with a good old fashioned drop kick and that’s what he gets for his effort? Shameful.

Tony's version made perfect sense and it's consistent with how real fights actually happen.
A simple double leg takedown to a nearside cradle (after the opponent belly downs) is much more plausible than a fucking spectacular suplex, which is high-risk move and requires set up or an inexperienced opponent. Not something likely to be attempted in a roadside scuffle with a coworker. It just sounds ridiculous. It the equivalent of two karate guys getting into a fight and one guy attempting a reverse flying jump kick.

Tony's version is way more believable. Paul liked to scrap, he had a short fuse and because Tony is mild mannered he thought he could bully him. Besides, Tony tells the story with ease.
Paul was out of control. He did an interview where HE said he destroyed the steering wheel of a car because he and Roddy Piper were sitting in traffic from the airport and he felt the drive was taking too long.
I'm going to conclude Paul was the aggressor in the Tony/Paul rumble. It just makes more sense.
