Honestly surprised how Activision made vanguard so bad that you would have more fun on the frozen dawn getting round 100 suffering than playing vanguard.
The weapons did what the multiple variants of wonder weapons should be, is that every single one is good at one thing and bad at another, and all that, making each one actually unique.
I will agree. WW2 zombies excels in so many areas, but the flaws of the game mode overshadowed the good stuff. I think we can all agree that The Final Reich is a great map tho
Honestly The Frozen Donn was one of the better maps in ww2 and is my favorite but I'm honestly sad Sledgehammer didn't do zombies for Vanguard, would've been nice to see a continuation with this story unfortunately the community were calling for Treyarch to make the next zombies and look what happened we got shit, you guys did this yourself.

This was my least favorite WWII map, but certainly not the worst map ever. It definitely suffered from the Origins problem where the wonder weapons were very tedious to obtain and the EE basically revolved around them, but otherwise the map layout, lore, and side EEs are pretty damn solid for the very little time and resources Sledgehammer's zombies team had left for it.
Honestly doesn't matter if you liked or disliked the maps in ww2 zombies you gotta agree it they looked very beautiful in their own way from graphics, style and the aesthetics especially this map they did it well with a zombies map in the mountains but I really enjoyed the cinematics in this game.

Map isn’t that bad tbh, it reminds me of ancient evil, because all the upgrade quest reminds me of the hand quest, it’s actually a decently fun map and the Easter egg is pretty fun, ww2 got a lot of hate but it’s not that bad and the character challenges gave so much replay ability

The game was an utter fucking mess for the whole year, from 1 map on launch to 5 months for a round based map, awful Easter eggs throughout, exfil cutscenes. Everyone blasted cold war all the time (deservedly so) but the second something worse comes along cold war was suddenly incredible.
