Honestly I find RiU to be a decent 5-6 out of 10.
It's not great and the steel ball run gives me an aneurysm. Love the videos and it's great to see a new ddos.

Really depends on what you're comparing it against imo. If we're comparing it against the entirety of the Roblox Jojo Genre, it's probably closer to a 7 or an 8, since the vast majority of those games are borderline unplayable

Compared to yba I'd say it's a 6-7 but with the fact that at least for now there's no MiH bs going on where someone is going Mach 12 and you get banned for uni reset being used across the map, it boosts it to a 8 for me. But If we're comparing with that SBR it goes back down too a 7 cause those horses genuinely make me feel like vomiting with how they control. Otherwise it's decently fun. I have beef with YBA personally so imo anything is better than it. I can admit when YBA does something better or right over other games, but also I'm biased to hate it.

It really doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the vast majority of “games” on roblox are horribly made, but the expectations of children are so low that they think anything with bright colors and flashy lights is fun, even if the only gameplay to speak of is literally leaving your game running with an autoclicker on overnight and not actually playing the game. I cannot get myself to play nearly anything on the front page of roblox anymore, because I have gotten to the point that I CAN, in fact, judge the game by it’s cover, even the gamepass menu for the game can be a dead giveaway. Instant reroll animation gamepass? That’s all I need to know, no game that has gambling in it is worth my attention.

Eclipse going insane makes me happy, also please play persona 5 royal it recently got ported to pc and its one of the best games ive ever played.
Hopefully I'll get around to playing it as well as finishing 4, but those aren't exactly games that I'd play on the channel, and more so something I'd do in my own time

It’s funny how much RiU SBR changed after Eclipse made a video on it. Now there is around a 120 second long wait for the checkpoint and a 15 player requirement to start.

If you don't want to play yba or roblx is unbreakable, and want to play a game that like Jojo then play hours its a fun game because there are a lot of time stops and other jojo mechenics such as bites the dust and there is no grinding envolved to get a new stands plus the story is much better than ybas story
please play it trust me you will like it a lot and if you need help I'm here after like 4 P.M because of school but on weekend you can ask me questions and I will help you and give you tips and secrets

Hey Eclipse you can try out Decaying winter Last stand. Its a really well made survival/team based game (That can be played solo) and to top it all of the privet servers are free. If you think that roblox ''game'' can't be that good you can just give it like 3 hours or less and you will probably like it (if you don't like it or just telling me to fuck off that is OK) :)

Fun fact: the RIU devs actually listened to eclipse's complaints and fixed them (requied player count reduced to 15 and barrier duration increased to 120 seconds)

I think eclipse should play deepwoken, since it’s a game that merges grind and gameplay into a hybrid, and make it actually challenging and engaging to level up and get your gear, along with all the diversity you can have in your character, to builds to origins and to your special talent cards. It’d be great to see him at least attempt Deepwoken, although I think he might not like how theres a lot of “i dont know where to go” because there isn’t much direction but once you get to the action it’s definetly worth it. Deepwoken is rough around the edges but overall its a good game.
He already said this in a past video that he won't be playing deepwoken...

for the grind vs gameplay argument, i think most popular rpgs (my example, p5) are the perfect example
persona 5 is almost entirely gameplay, as the grind is completely optional, even if it is encouraged through devices such as powerful bosses and side quests required to complete confidants. its fully optional, as you progress levels at a pace good enough as to were you simply dont need to grind unless you are somehow underleveled from missing enemies or there's the rare slightly unbalanced mini boss
meanwhile, games like riu and yba have you go through the storyline (with sudden difficulty spikes and level gaps in rius case), then when you are done it leaves you there and lets you figure out what to do, how. a good storyline will end with you being at the level cap or extremely near, not 20 levels away for yba (at prestige 3, at least), or *60* for riu. a good storyline will most likely mention methods through which to power yourself up, such as persona 5's storyline teaching you about darts and confidants, not leaving you to figure out what items to give to who and where on your own
if riu and yba want to make an attempt at having a happy playerbase, they would learn to make levelling better and generally make the game easier to figure out.
